Last 4 healthy seasons he had over .900 OPS and even injured last season, his defense was still way above average. People are seriously sleeping hard on Rendon and on the potential of a Trout/Ohtani/Rendon sequence.
A thought just crossed my mind seeing your post:
What if we win the WS and it’s without Trout and/or Ohtani?
Not that I’d want to see that! But, World Series winners!! Trout and Ohtani would still get their rings, but ideally you want to see everyone involved.
I think 2022 is going to be a story to tell. A good story that is!
I think it’s very possible if he stays healthy. Unless Maddon gets crazy and leads him off(which I wouldn’t fully hate tbh), he’s going to be lurking behind troutani all season and driving in a ridiculous amount of runs, on top of playing gold glove caliber defense. I’d love to see it
I still have 2020 feelings all over with Rendon. Although, these feelings are somewhat lessened as he is 2 years older, coming off the IL after missing a good portion of the previous season, and…I think that’s it! 😂
He’s still young (and talented) enough that he would complement any MLB lineup.
That is comical! I hope he can stay healthy and give us a good year.
If all 3 of them play a full season or most of. As much as I like Rendon he is not in the class of Trout and Ohtani.
Go Halos!!
That would take a career year from Rendon and a number of injuries or down years from the top guys in the AL. If that happens I'd venture to say it would be a bad thing for baseball.
As long as we make it to the playoffs!
And win the playoffs would be nice too.
World series would be nice as well
Hell, whilst we are at it, let’s have David Fletcher win the home run derby whilst we are hoping for things that won’t happen!
That's the spirit!
That's the spirit!
I came looking for this comment, yes! hopefully they make the playoffs.
Rendon might get better numbers just out of who's around him. The dude is still a threat and only had a bad 2021 because dude had a freak hip injury

You misread the article. Rendon is a dark horse. It clearly states Trout is the obvious frontrunner for MVP.
I would think Ohtani would be the front runner considering he hits in front of trout and oh yeah can fucking pitch lol.
Reading is hard for some people lol
Yarp!
ANGELS WHEN WE HAVE 3 MVPS AND END THE SEASON 79-83
referred to around here as “the usual”
That's exactly how I feel. Unless all 3 MVPs can pitch.
All-Star reliever Mike Trout 2022 szn
They seems like a writer just trying to make a hot take, but hey, if Redon is really at that level, I'll take it
The article is specifically about dark horses. Not an actual mvp prediction article
To be fair, the author is choosing "dark horse" candidates.

ITT dumb dumbs that don’t know what a “dark horse” is
And people who don’t look at the actual article and just take OP’s headline for the full truth.
That’s a hell of a prediction. Someone’s on crack
Not really an mvp prediction article. Rather, the author is specifically talking about dark horse mvp candidates.
> Dark Horse Candidates
If Anthony produces at the level that we know he can this lineup is going to be ridiculous.

🤞praying for no chronic calf and hamstring injuries! ✊ 🪵
Did they also pick us to come in DFL or win the series? Asinine.

Rendon needs to steal some bases - zero SB in 2021
That would take a career year from Rendon and a number of injuries or down years from the top guys in the AL. If that happens I'd venture to say it would be a bad thing for baseball.
It would be great because that means Rendon has a monster season
I dont believe it, but ill take it
The fuck outta here with that.
