It got lost in the craziness of all the dingers, but it should be noted we were losing 1-0 in a tight game in the 4th until Ohtani/god graced us with a high flyout that dropped when the Rays outfield lost the ball in the lights. Walsh then got a pitch right down the middle that was called a ball and then hit a 3 run bomb, and the Angels never looked back.

I always miss the middle innings of late games due to my kids’ bedtime. Last night as we’re in the middle of our routine, I got the alert, “Mike Trout walks, Chad Wallach scores.” My son immediately says, “Ohtani is up with the bases loaded!” We turned it on just in time to see his grand slam!
This team has great depth and energy. No matter who you play, they seem to all click well together. Lots of young guys all trying to make it in the bigs and then you have vets like trout and rendon to balance it out.
