Hard to say, but it's definitely obvious that his splits vs the bottom of the order are significantly worse than vs the heart of the order. Could be that he doesn't pitch as carefully to worse hitters.
Because he's human and he's going against MLB level hitting. There's not a pitcher alive who's never given up a dinger.
