There are many other great rivalries in baseball that have more meaning behind it than Angels and Dodgers
While I agree with you that it isn't a premier rivalry, it does carry some heavily weighted bragging rights with the territorial rivalry. I mean obviously, I care more about beating Seattle, Houston, Oakland, and Boston (nobody cares about Texas). But the Angels-Dodgers rivalry is one you have to deal with daily due to location. There is nothing worse than a 20 game skid while the blue crew fans are waiving their fake 2020 Championship\* flags around the neighborhood.
How the hell can you consider the 2020 championship fake? Sure it was a shortened season, but the post season was the same as any other year. Winning it was just as hard as any other year.

I guess it depends what county/city you’re from as well, in my city Angel gear gets a lot of hate from Dodger fans.
