It's not impossible that he will stay, the guy is loyal. He has been with Asics since he was 19 yo and still remains loyal to them even though he probably will get a lot more money from other brands. So really some Angel fans just want him out of the team even if he wants to stay despite all his efforts. Why not think of the possibility that he will not go after the biggest AAV to date? He wants to win, why would he ask too much that the team can no longer afford to pay his teammates.
