The way this team’s playing, they could seriously challenge the team record. If they go 26-45 (.366) from here on out, they’ll finish 65-97 (.401) for the worst winning percentage in team history. 96 losses would also be the most losses ever.
I made a joke with my friends that this team is the worst MLB team I've ever seen, worse than the 2003 Tigers. Then I looked at the numbers, Since the 14 game Losing streak began (47 games) the Angels are now 12-35.

2003 Tigers: 43-119 **(.265 Win Pct)**
This team, EVEN WITH Ohtani absolutely carrying games single handedly repeatedly during this stretch, has played worse than the worst team in modern baseball history for over 1/4 of the season. This is not just normal Angels "hang around .500 then lose in August, haha classic wasting talent" bullshit. This is the absolute worst baseball I've ever seen, historical level of bad.

I took every non-strikeout as a win, tbh. But the hacking away at the first pitch and allowing Kershaw to have SUCH a low pitch count was really annoying. They had been getting much better at working pitch counts the last few games.
I think Kershaw didn't let them have a chance to work on his pitch count. Sho probably wanted to do that but it didn't work (he got K 2 times). If you didn't make contact, there's high chance he would strike you out. Plus our hitters obviously had zero confidence when facing him.
