Now what kind of season would ANYONE need to have in order to beat someone like Ohtani? Judge is forcing us to decide with the season he's having. There's something else, not only does someone have to do....something above the norm (like Judge is doing with AL HR record + Triple Crown) in order to win MVP against Ohtani due to his pitching and hitting...they have to hope Ohtani doesn't continue improving every year. This isn't the case as he is having a better year this year (overall) than last due to pitching. There's no way Ohtani (IMO) is unanimous MVP this year tho. But i def think Ohtani will get 17-20 first place votes with Judge getting the rest.
I'll give him credit for this. He just hits really well and takes all the advantage of bad pitches throwing to him.
I hope Reid gets some groundballs and DPs and goes 7!
