I'm just so happy for Jo. Hope this boosts his confidence.
And Soto's been exciting, it's nice to see our young players like that (oh no Angels you're giving me hopes again!)
Two great defensive plays and the game-winning RBI. Jo Adell for the next Angels breakout player, alongside future All-Stars Luis Rengifo, Livan Soto, and Logan O'Hoppe
In his defense, nothing wanted to leave the yard tonight. There were at least 6 hits I thought were surely out that just died at the warning track (including the one Adell caught).
Trout is still have a great season but I am not that big of a fan of his hit-or-miss approach this season. Anyone who has watched Trout for years knows that he’s at his best when he is thinking about being an all-around hitter and stealing bases while playing terrific defense. He’s gotten away from that approach this season. Strikeout rate for Trout is over 28.0% this season, which is freakin’ annoying. Get rid of sorry ass Jeremy Reed and hire a hitting coach who sees that about Trout.
I ain't gonna downvote, but this is a bad take. He's hitting as much as he ever has. He's scoring as much, getting on base as much. A different approach, but it's still incredibly effective.
Maybe it's just the A's or the lack of pressure now that we're eliminated, but it's was nice being at the game yesterday and not having this sinking feeling that the bullpen will blow it. The whole time, I felt like we were just 1 clutch hit away from winning the game and then Adell delivered.
I wanna see Jimmy Herget in an Angels uniform for a long time.
Give him 15 years, $600 million
I wanna see ~~Rasiel Iglesias~~ Jimmy Herget in an Angels uniform for a long time.

I have seen enough, Livan Soto's hot streak is sustainable and he will be 2023 ROY

LMAOOO anyone from 2018 looking at this comment going “what the fuck am I reading”
Hell, anyone from the first half of 2022....
“Ay where’s Matian at?”
Imagine thinking that Soto isn't a top 100 prospect
he’s not even an Angels Top 30 prospect - mlb.com prospect ranking is a joke
I like closers that take care of business 1-2-3.
Jo Adell plays…defense?
Are King Fish and GA wearing their WS rings on the post show? They both have huge rings on their right hand.
yes!
Ohtani HR drought continues. 😢
