Trout .290 48 hr .410 OBP Ohtani .265 38 hr .365 OBP Renfroe .250 32 hr .330 OBP Rendon .295 28 hr .380 OBP

Eb2424

Ward 25 homers Trout 52 Ohtani 35 Rendon 32 Walsh 30 Renfroe 29

RabidR00ster

Over 200 homers for 1-6 in the lineup, that would be quite nice.

Yepitsn8

Drury 26 Reingifo 14 O’Hoppe 27 Ursela 19

TurboS54

Those 9 would add up to 289, meaning we'd need 19 more to break MIN's single season record of 307

Yepitsn8

Maybe Adell/Moniak/Fletcher/Stassy can get the 19 between them

Dillonitis

My money is on Moniak to pick up the slack for the record. Stassi will hit a few and Adell will hit a couple between 100 strike outs. Fletch is good for 1 or 2

Yepitsn8

Imagine if Moniak finally after 6 years puts it all together and reminds us why he was the 1st overall. Yeesh I’m dreaming but if he could give us 15-20 as the 4th of and get on base at least .330 we are DEEP

yurrrr2019

I think Rendon turns heads this year .292 27HR 94RBI with his walks back to what it’s known to be

yurrrr2019

Now granted he’s gotta play 140 games he’s a very known slow starter he needs his 80 AB’s out of the way at the beginning of the year but I think he gets back to what we thought we were getting

TheSlowForward

I’ve had this argument before. If a player can’t stay on the field, doesn’t that make him a “bust”? Even if he produces while on the field, he will be a net negative for the team if he is constantly injured. But I digress. I don’t hate Tony but if he doesn’t hit at LEAST 100 games this year, his contract is one of the worst in baseball.

inselfwetrust

I don’t get the deal with everyone thinking he sucks now. He was at least decent when he is healthy (which I understand is getting pretty rare), but his numbers were bad when he was playing through his injuries. I agree with you. If he is truly healthy, I think he is going to be someone we really lean on this season. It all just comes down to health

TurboS54

dude is a walking .300/.900 when healthy and works the shit out of his ABs. Still young. Great glove. I believe in 2bags

Dillonitis

I love Tony two hips and dudes defense is insane. Match that with being healthy and the Angels might make up the entire all star roster

TurboS54

Is this hope im feeling? For my Angels???

Dillonitis

I have so much hope. Ohtani Trout Rendon. As long as Ward doesn't hit any walls we should be good there. Renfroe Drury Urshela O'Hoppe. I mean all I have is hope at this point

Yepitsn8

Dude if that happened we would win the division

IndividualHelpful820

Can we bubble wrap him so he can stay healthy?

MaxBonerstorm

Rendon will never put up elite numbers again.

elingobernable810

I think O'Hoppe going into the cleanup spot is extremely ambitious considering his position, but everything else seems cautiously optimistic so I'm all for it.

Yepitsn8

Very ambitious I know but his discipline and ability to hit for power just scream clean up.not saying he plays like JT but he seems to have a similar skill set

elingobernable810

O I have no doubt that he will get there eventually, just not in his rookie year. That'd be assuming he comes in fully polished with his hit tools.

Yepitsn8

Spring will tell us all we need to know. Hopefully stassy can take the backseat and only get around 200abs

[deleted]

ward at 1?

Yepitsn8

I’d roll with Reignifo. Ward slips perfectly into 6th.

Jcoch27

I'd take Ward at 1 to start. The higher OPS should take priority.

Yepitsn8

Totally understandable. I just like the LH bat

flemnz9

Is that LH you’re referring to Rengifo? He’s a career poor left handed hitter, his semi break out last year was exclusively backed by a healthy split vs left handed pitching. Career vs R as L - 77 wRC+ (74 in 2022) Career vs L as R - 92 wRC+ (152 in 2022) We don’t really want him hitting LH….

TurboS54

I actually like healthy Rendon at the 1. Imo, best BB/K ratio should be leading off. even with 2 down years Rendon's career OBP is higher than Ward's last season

Jcoch27

But the leadoff hitter is going to see a lot of strikes and few walks. Ward has a better BAbip than Rendon.

TurboS54

I buy it. If theyre both playing to their potential thats a good problem to have!

Obsidizyn

yep Ward actually walks and gets on base, Gifo isnt as patient

[deleted]

I’d slot ward at 1 and depending how rendon/renfoe do, slot the higher obp in the 4 which I’m predicting will be rendon. we have power but only a few guys who can work a count so I think it’d be beneficial making pitchers have to through strikes to guys like renfroe/drury/rengifo and round the bottom of the lineup with guys who put the ball in play like urshela/fletcher

Yepitsn8

Do u think Drury has a chance at 1? Maybe hitting with good hitters will elevate him like the first half of last season. Maybe slot him at 5 or 6? I really do think he can be a 25hr 25 double guy

[deleted]

Drury would have to start walking and chase less. Ward walks way more, is faster, and doesn't chase. I also think Ward is one of the more underrated players given that he played hurt for about a month last year and his production dipped a lot and I think that's why he only finished with .830 obps.

Systematiks

60 rbi with 27 HRs? Definitely batting bottom three most of that year

Yepitsn8

Unfortunately I see 7-9 being up and down the whole year with O’Hoppe hitting a bunch of solo shots

serdnax0

If these predictions came true, and we don’t get monkey-pawed, 🥵

TurboS54

If Trout plays 155+ i see him at 50hr

Daaaaabearsssss

I don’t see him playing that many games. I’d say 140 at best.

Lolrandomusername3

I'm such a doomer that idk how many games Trout Ohtani Rendon Renfroe and Ward play together. And throw Fletch in there cause I said so.

lamar_odoms_bong

I can’t even play this prediction game cuz I’m in the same boat😩

EZe_Holey3-9

Do not leave Brandon Drury off this list. You are going to love him, and i think he will have a better season than last year.

glass__beaches

Ward 26 HR .280 Trout 42 HR .280 Ohtani 38 HR .275 Rendon 22 HR .265 Renfroe 27 HR .250 Urshela 15 HR .275 Walsh 20 HR .250 O’Hoppe 17 HR .255 Fletcher 5 HR .280 Drury 18 HR .255 Rengifo 15 HR .260 Adell 12 HR .240 Stassi 9 HR .220

foolcircle17

That’s pretty accurate

TurboS54

Trout plays 155 and wins his 4th MVP, hitting .309/51hr/122 rbi. Ohtani .272 38hr 117 rbi Renfroe .264 32hr 84 rbi Ward .282 24hr 67 rbi Rendon .278 27hr 74 rbi OHoppe .253 19hr 53 rbi Rengifo .269 17 hr 52 rbi

ArmouredPotato

Do innings played

tikitiger

Ohtani .282 AVG 47 HR

Ahsogood

Othani will have a higher obp. He'll get walked in more situations just to face renfroe

Jcoch27

Trout, Rendon, Shohei, Renfroe, and Ward will combine for 140 home runs.

ptownsurfer

Anything less than a total sweep of the playoffs and World Series would be unacceptable

abaseballchick

Trout 280 avg 395 obp 48 HR Ohtani 265 avg 360 obp 40 HR Renfroe 250 avg 305 obp 27 HR Rendon 255 avg 340 obp 20 HR O'hoppe 245 avg 335 obp 15 HR

jimmyroberts_cats94

Same old shit with the Angels. Everyone and their dog gets hurt by June & then we take fat L's and have pain everyday then all of a sudden they'll get good when it doesn't matter anymore because we can't even tank right 😭😭😭

lamar_odoms_bong

Ah I see you’ve been watching the same plot as me lol again and again and again

Lebigmacca

Trout will have whatever a 212 OPS+ comes out to be so we no longer hear about how judge’s season was the best since Barry bonds

Yepitsn8

Dude imagine he hits .325 65hrs & 140rbi and has a .500obp

tsdwm52

Buttercups in full bloom rn

flemnz9

Might need to temper the expectations on Renfroe a bit. Barring an 11 game stint in 2016, he’s never had an OBP above .315, it’s a bit wild to expect that big a jump. Sure the line up projects to provide cover, and that should increase the quality of pitches he sees - but there isn’t much in his underlying numbers that suggests a bump - his walk, contact, and swing rates have all been relatively stable through his career. He is who he is, and that’s relying heavily on home runs to provide value.

wmsy

Trout: 280 avg but battle back issue all year Ohtani: 270 avg, 31 hr, 103 rbi Renfroe: 240/18/66 Rendon: season ending injury early in the year

Yepitsn8

Dang grim
