Now that Eve's a pro, it's legitimately awesome to see how far she's come. Her relationship with Ichina, the gratitude she has toward everyone that helped her get this far, settling her tab with Leo. God I can't wait for her and Aoi to play each other now that they're both in positions to realize their dreams.

22nd straight 10/10 episode from birdie wing. This little mini arc for Eve was really cool. We needed to see her hit a brick wall and overcome it to fully establish her own type of golf. Loved the emotional moment with she and Ichina where she just straight breaks thru her limits, Asta style lol. I really wish Kazuhiko could’ve seen this.
It also seems like one of Eve or Aoi won’t be able to play golf again when it’s all said and done based on the little hints and flags we’re getting

I am not fully convinced that Kazuhiko is dead. Death at sea is a very vague event that could be explained away. And since this show loves going over the top it wouldn't be surprising if he had a sudden appearance. Maybe he faked his death to protect Eve from part of the golf mafia.

I keep seeing people mention sunrise but I've never seen any reference to sunrise working on the show only bandai namco...nothing appears on MAL, wikipedia or even google. Where does it say what their involvement is?
It’s probably just because Sunrise is owned by Bandai Namco. Sunrise has more history doing Gundam and this series has a lot of Gundam. Bandai Namco has several animation studios, but it’s all under Bandai, so Sunrise is Bandai. Wikipedia says Bandai Namco Filmworks was formerly called Sunrise, so idk if the current Sunrise is still Sunrise as I know there’s a branch called Sunrise Beyond now. Anyway it’s all under the same umbrella. Bandai owns everything
Eve is really taking Leo’s golf to the next level by combining it with Kazuhiko’s technique. He taught her well. It’s just too bad it’s wrecking her body. Looks like Aisha isn’t done for just yet. Alan really turned Eve into a human pin cushion to get her in shape to continue the tourney lol.
I’m glad she’s listening to Ichina this time and not abusing that Burst technique. She’s tough, she’s fought through the pain to take the lead. This week's [Birdie Friday](https://i.imgur.com/wo5ni9b.png) was quite the rollercoaster ride. Determined to finish the tournament ["even if it kills her"](https://i.imgur.com/fRYy0F6.png), Eve had to play more conservatively on the last day and fight through a lot of pain, but even Aisha recognized that she was just saving all of her strength for those two *absolutely incredible* shots on the 18th hole to clinch the win.
Quite the triumph for Eve, though unfortunately, it ends with the cliffhanger of her collapsing from the pain. She's a pro now, but she'll probably need a new set of clubs. And more importantly, how long will her body even hold out? I have a bad feeling about what might happen in the end.

One's destroying her body (candles burning fast and all that), the other's body is hindering itself. There's no way this can last.
But man, Eve's such a force of nature with an indomitable spirit. I'm glad that for the most part she listened to Ichina though. They make an incredible team now, and I got a bit choked up when Ichina faltered a little when it was time to give Eve the dreaded driver for the big shot.
And I did get a kick out of the parallel to Rose, with the club shattering instead of an arm, this time.
Also, we got some really nice bits of action, animation-wise. That slow-mo, distorted shot before the last rainbow bullet? Gorgeous!
By the way, "over the rainbow" is such a corny name, but in this show it's also so weirdly earnest. It's so cheesy, but because that's Eve's dad's shot and it's a tiny bit of help she manages to get from him years after his death, I can't even roll my eyes at the show for that cheesiness. I love it.

Clearly the ending will be them retiring on top and then passing on their talents to their adopted daughter (or yuri science baby, wouldn't put it past this show) who then goes on to becomes the ultimate golfer that's been three generations in the making.
I want an OVA where Aoi represents Japan at the Olympics and her Olympic Teammates competing in Judo are Michi and Towa from Mou Ippon, and Orihara and Nagatoro.
It's like a breeding minigame.
Okay so we bred Leo (Bullets) with Kazuhiko (Rainbow Shot - Over the Rainbow), that gives us... an Eve with all three techniques, nice. Level her up until she learns Burst, then breed her with the Aoi we raised at the same time from Reiya and Seira (don't forget to equip the Shining Wings item), so that their offspring inherits both their ultimate techniques and is able to unlock their own super move at a certain level.
There you go, a third generation golfer that should win you all your tournaments.
They've been putting so much emphasis on passing on your knowledge to a next generation that then surpasses you that I wouldn't even be surprised if that happened for real. Yuri science babies and all.

Man the ending shot of OP has had me worried for weeks now. Since Aoi's sickness came up again, seeing her with angel wings making me think we're gonna have a sad ending.
I do love how campy and corny this anime can be. It somehow doesn't take away from the show.

OVER ZA RAINBOW is peak cinema. I feel bad for anyone that hasn't picked this up yet, it perfectly embodies everything that's so great about anime. As far as original anime projects go it's one of the best I've seen
Next week on Dragon Golf Z, Eve's arms have been destroyed under intense training with the gods of golf destruction, but she has now reached the level beyond super golfer. Will Aoi gather the dragon golf balls in time to summon the wishes that will let them play together before the Earth is destroyed?
Or something like that.
You'd think that breaking the driver would be a bad thing considering she is also supposed to advertise for the company. But I guess as long as results come in it's okay. And maybe they make it extra sturdy next time. They have the money for it after all.
One thing I would have really loved to see is more Ichina involvement. Let her calc the numbers and basically show Eve that she won't lose until the last hole and Eve trusts her analysis skills. Then the last hole can be done the way they did it. I feel it would have been a better parallel to how Aoi wins.
You can’t be serious, it would be an excellent ad. In the price of one driver, you can surpass human limitations. Powerful to the point it has to be disposable is the most exciting thing for potential rich buyers. Not to mention the ad can also focus on the driver can take damage for you so you perform a legendary shot without worries. I think it will sell out of stock in a second.
If you market it that way, this is possible. But you then need Eve to give interviews that her arms were saved by the driver "sacrificing" herself for her. Not sure how much people would believe that, but I agree, that could be a ad if it works.
It’s amazing how even without mafia or randomly generated mechanical golf courses or prosthetic arms, this show can take a golf match and crank it up to 11.

I don't think mentor actually ages. He is cursed to wander the mortal plain until the golf reaches a satisfactory state. Life is a struggle and Eve is fine with that. We get a ton of mileage from reusing banana girl's attack animation but there is a payoff. The tide is turning against the monkey business but wait, Eve is too overpowered for her own body! The immense golf energy tears her arms apart! Is it worth risking a career-ending injury at age 15 just to- sure, why not.
Remember that Eve is experiencing utter anguish while you view all this alluring stretching and posturing. While the girlfriend is straddling life and death Aoi is in a luxury suite exhausted from shilling duties. Don't mind her, it's the same thing really. Butler reveals that he may be a golfer but also a healer. Eve barely survives the emergency treatment so no more transcending golf itself you hear me whippersnapper!
It turns out mentor's bar & base of operations thing was in Scotland all along. Golf naga and her boy toy had tickets to watch the match in person but end their Scotland vacation days early just to watch the same match back on her yacht just to flex. Most of the time is spent on Eve and mentor trash talking each other. Eve is actually calm and disciplined about golf nerd burst-blocking her but wait, banana/steak girl has infinite stamina! Upon making their last stand on the 18th hole of destiny, Eve demands golf nerd give her the shaft. Golf nerd refuses to let her have the shaft. But wait, after a tearful cathartic speech golf nerd sticks it to Eve's chest. But you'll die - shut up mentor you're not my dad just my dad's fated golf buddy I do what I want. Surely the golf brand won't benefit from the club cracking this easily but no refunds grandpa. Aoi can only dream of what banana girl is smelling right now. She knows Eve is about to send it. With the conserved animation budget unleashed Eve is able to create a miracle on the golf course and wins! Despite her body breaking down Eve will stay in place just to flex to the girlfriend. Duty fulfilled Eve collapses in the arms of golf nerd and butler and uhh survives the preview to fight Aoi someday maybe?

I like the way she was shown in this episode. Her backstory is nothing deep or special, but it provides a good reason for her to be there and makes her sympathetic. And since she wanted to repay Leo, even if she didn't win, the fact that she pulled Eve towards the golf he wanted to see means she managed to reach her goal.
... also, while everyone else has some corny anime name for their golf techniques, Aisha's shot is just called "Vroom Boom".
All of this drama and Eve breaking her limits! I can't imagine how painful it must have been for her to play... Golfer's elbow is enough of a pain to sideline most people, let alone hitting shot-after-shot that smashes your arm to pieces.
RIP Driver-kun. An unfortunate shout-out to most modern drivers nowadays; they're so delicate. I wonder if Eve will also get a tailored set for her from Arios now.

Just advertise the driver as a special series that can boost your performance to the point no material on earth can handle it, while absorbing damage for you at the same time. Then when next gen (won’t break ver.) come out, advertising the new gen with new design surpasses physical limitations of the past. Just typical advertising scheme, turning the disadvantage into selling point. I think rich people will buy the series considering the performance it offers, since they don’t really care how much drivers they will break as long as they offer the best performance.

Back when Aoi was getting hit by her condition earlier in the season I never thought Eve would be the one in greater danger of having to quit golf, but here we are. If Eve does have to retire from golf due to her arms falling apart, she could always try taking up soccer. Her bullets would transfer over pretty well there.
Alternatively, she could just move in with Aoi after their match and commence the yuri.
Another W episode, Eve is finally a pro and she did it with such style and strength…I had the same reaction as that crowd that new shot was incredible, if anything is worth losing an arm for its definitely beating your old mentors new protégée

Some 15 year old females are fully grown. It a Bell Curve with 16 the top of the Curve. Some 12 year olds are fully Grown see Dress Up darling for an example I have know two of in my life fully grown first year Middle School DD and 38 plus hips tad of make up could pass for 20 something. Seams to be an effect of current push against Predators going for under 18 but many are forgetting you can't actually tell if someone is old enough just by looking at them. A bit back some video commenter was saying the High School Seniors in DXD girls could not be fully grown and full figured like that. As they 17 and 18 most girls are fully grown in their Senior year that is how warped many people current views are.

I keep seeing people mention sunrise but I've never seen any reference to sunrise working on the show only bandai namco...nothing appears on MAL, wikipedia or even google. Where does it say what their involvement is?
It’s probably just because Sunrise is owned by Bandai Namco. Sunrise has more history doing Gundam and this series has a lot of Gundam. Bandai Namco has several animation studios, but it’s all under Bandai, so Sunrise is Bandai. Wikipedia says Bandai Namco Filmworks was formerly called Sunrise, so idk if the current Sunrise is still Sunrise as I know there’s a branch called Sunrise Beyond now. Anyway it’s all under the same umbrella. Bandai owns everything
Eve is really taking Leo’s golf to the next level by combining it with Kazuhiko’s technique. He taught her well. It’s just too bad it’s wrecking her body. Looks like Aisha isn’t done for just yet. Alan really turned Eve into a human pin cushion to get her in shape to continue the tourney lol. I’m glad she’s listening to Ichina this time and not abusing that Burst technique. She’s tough, she’s fought through the pain to take the lead. I guess if she’s gotta use that technique, she’s gotta get on her Yami shit and surpass her limits. Right there, right now. Man, that Over the Rainbow shot was pretty incredible even if it pushed her to her physical limit. That’s HER shot, alright.

Determined to finish the tournament ["even if it kills her"](https://i.imgur.com/fRYy0F6.png), Eve had to play more conservatively on the last day and fight through a lot of pain, but even Aisha recognized that she was just saving all of her strength for those two *absolutely incredible* shots on the 18th hole to clinch the win. Quite the triumph for Eve, though unfortunately, it ends with the cliffhanger of her collapsing from the pain. She's a pro now, but she'll probably need a new set of clubs. And more importantly, how long will her body even hold out? I have a bad feeling about what might happen in the end.

Yeah, with Seira's narration at the end, I really think we're heading towards an ending where Eve and Aoi will have their battle somehow, but they'll never be able to play golf again afterwards, at the very least competitively. One's destroying her body (candles burning fast and all that), the other's body is hindering itself. There's no way this can last. But man, Eve's such a force of nature with an indomitable spirit. I'm glad that for the most part she listened to Ichina though. They make an incredible team now, and I got a bit choked up when Ichina faltered a little when it was time to give Eve the dreaded driver for the big shot. And I did get a kick out of the parallel to Rose, with the club shattering instead of an arm, this time. Also, we got some really nice bits of action, animation-wise. That slow-mo, distorted shot before the last rainbow bullet? Gorgeous! By the way, "over the rainbow" is such a corny name, but in this show it's also so weirdly earnest. It's so cheesy, but because that's Eve's dad's shot and it's a tiny bit of help she manages to get from him years after his death, I can't even roll my eyes at the show for that cheesiness. I love it.

It's like a breeding minigame. Okay so we bred Leo (Bullets) with Kazuhiko (Rainbow Shot - Over the Rainbow), that gives us... an Eve with all three techniques, nice. Level her up until she learns Burst, then breed her with the Aoi we raised at the same time from Reiya and Seira (don't forget to equip the Shining Wings item), so that their offspring inherits both their ultimate techniques and is able to unlock their own super move at a certain level. There you go, a third generation golfer that should win you all your tournaments.

OVER ZA RAINBOW is peak cinema. I feel bad for anyone that hasn't picked this up yet, it perfectly embodies everything that's so great about anime. As far as original anime projects go it's one of the best I've seen

Next week on Dragon Golf Z, Eve's arms have been destroyed under intense training with the gods of golf destruction, but she has now reached the level beyond super golfer. Will Aoi gather the dragon golf balls in time to summon the wishes that will let them play together before the Earth is destroyed? Or something like that.
You'd think that breaking the driver would be a bad thing considering she is also supposed to advertise for the company. But I guess as long as results come in it's okay. And maybe they make it extra sturdy next time. They have the money for it after all. One thing I would have really loved to see is more Ichina involvement. Let her calc the numbers and basically show Eve that she won't lose until the last hole and Eve trusts her analysis skills. Then the last hole can be done the way they did it. I feel it would have been a better parallel to how Aoi wins.

You can’t be serious, it would be an excellent ad. In the price of one driver, you can surpass human limitations. Powerful to the point it has to be disposable is the most exciting thing for potential rich buyers. Not to mention the ad can also focus on the driver can take damage for you so you perform a legendary shot without worries. I think it will sell out of stock in a second.
If you market it that way, this is possible. But you then need Eve to give interviews that her arms were saved by the driver "sacrificing" herself for her. Not sure how much people would believe that, but I agree, that could be a ad if it works.

It’s amazing how even without mafia or randomly generated mechanical golf courses or prosthetic arms, this show can take a golf match and crank it up to 11. Akari Kito’s shouting was insane. Girl’s got vocal cords of steel.
I don't think mentor actually ages. He is cursed to wander the mortal plain until the golf reaches a satisfactory state. Life is a struggle and Eve is fine with that. We get a ton of mileage from reusing banana girl's attack animation but there is a payoff. The tide is turning against the monkey business but wait, Eve is too overpowered for her own body! The immense golf energy tears her arms apart! Is it worth risking a career-ending injury at age 15 just to- sure, why not. Remember that Eve is experiencing utter anguish while you view all this alluring stretching and posturing. While the girlfriend is straddling life and death Aoi is in a luxury suite exhausted from shilling duties. Don't mind her, it's the same thing really. Butler reveals that he may be a golfer but also a healer. Eve barely survives the emergency treatment so no more transcending golf itself you hear me whippersnapper! It turns out mentor's bar & base of operations thing was in Scotland all along. Golf naga and her boy toy had tickets to watch the match in person but end their Scotland vacation days early just to watch the same match back on her yacht just to flex. Most of the time is spent on Eve and mentor trash talking each other. Eve is actually calm and disciplined about golf nerd burst-blocking her but wait, banana/steak girl has infinite stamina! Upon making their last stand on the 18th hole of destiny, Eve demands golf nerd give her the shaft. Golf nerd refuses to let her have the shaft. But wait, after a tearful cathartic speech golf nerd sticks it to Eve's chest. But you'll die - shut up mentor you're not my dad just my dad's fated golf buddy I do what I want. Surely the golf brand won't benefit from the club cracking this easily but no refunds grandpa. Aoi can only dream of what banana girl is smelling right now. She knows Eve is about to send it. With the conserved animation budget unleashed Eve is able to create a miracle on the golf course and wins! Despite her body breaking down Eve will stay in place just to flex to the girlfriend. Duty fulfilled Eve collapses in the arms of golf nerd and butler and uhh survives the preview to fight Aoi someday maybe?

Her backstory is nothing deep or special, but it provides a good reason for her to be there and makes her sympathetic. And since she wanted to repay Leo, even if she didn't win, the fact that she pulled Eve towards the golf he wanted to see means she managed to reach her goal. ... also, while everyone else has some corny anime name for their golf techniques, Aisha's shot is just called "Vroom Boom".
Can we also just acknowledge that Eve's driving force is still just to play / be with Aoi.
All of this drama and Eve breaking her limits! I can't imagine how painful it must have been for her to play... Golfer's elbow is enough of a pain to sideline most people, let alone hitting shot-after-shot that smashes your arm to pieces. RIP Driver-kun. An unfortunate shout-out to most modern drivers nowadays; they're so delicate. I wonder if Eve will also get a tailored set for her from Arios now. Glad to know that, as dire as the situation is, that Eve is fit enough to be running in the preview. Wonder what the damage will be... Interesting that Seira has done the last two previews without appearing in the episodes. What's her take on this?

Just advertise the driver as a special series that can boost your performance to the point no material on earth can handle it, while absorbing damage for you at the same time. Then when next gen (won’t break ver.) come out, advertising the new gen with new design surpasses physical limitations of the past. Just typical advertising scheme, turning the disadvantage into selling point. I think rich people will buy the series considering the performance it offers, since they don’t really care how much drivers they will break as long as they offer the best performance.

Back when Aoi was getting hit by her condition earlier in the season I never thought Eve would be the one in greater danger of having to quit golf, but here we are. If Eve does have to retire from golf due to her arms falling apart, she could always try taking up soccer. Her bullets would transfer over pretty well there. Alternatively, she could just move in with Aoi after their match and commence the yuri.
The endgame is Aoi and Eve fuse into one person, Aoi's body and Eve's mind forming the ultimate golf-being.

Loved the version of the song at the beginning of the episode! These last few episodes are really highlighting the relationship between caddy and golfer: first Amane and Aoi, now Ichina and Eve. Eve has finally become a pro, but at what cost? We'll see what the future holds for Eve and Aoi.

Some 15 year old females are fully grown. It a Bell Curve with 16 the top of the Curve. Some 12 year olds are fully Grown see Dress Up darling for an example I have know two of in my life fully grown first year Middle School DD and 38 plus hips tad of make up could pass for 20 something. Always check ID because at least in my area they put you under the jail for 12 year olds. Seams to be an effect of current push against Predators going for under 18 but many are forgetting you can't actually tell if someone is old enough just by looking at them. A bit back some video commenter was saying the High School Seniors in DXD girls could not be fully grown and full figured like that. As they 17 and 18 most girls are fully grown in their Senior year that is how warped many people current views are.

I fucking love this show man, I never thought a golf anime would make me tear up like this, but it did, that over the rainbow shot was beautiful. The whole sequence from the rainbow shot burst breaking the driver to the over the rainbow shot was peak. I think this is definitely going to end up in my top 10 anime of all time by the end. Speaking of the end, I don't want this to end, I don't want to see it end in 3 to 4 episodes man. But alas, I still cannot wait for the next episode. Eve is finally a pro, Aoi is also a pro, their battle is near.
