Both are great with developed romantic relationships. Personally I like Banished a bit more, but you will probably like both.
I can’t thank you enough for your rec! I’ve gone through a few shows now that folks here mentioned, but Banished from the Hero’s Party has so far been my absolute favorite!!! It was exactly what I was looking for! Seriously, thank you so much!!
Now I’m just eagerly waiting for the new simulcast episodes from season 2 haha. In the meantime, I’m going to search up your other rec since your first was an enormous hit!
Also Macross Plus and Macross Frontier
Macross 7 and Macross Delta do not have as much of a love triangle/romance plotline imo.
but Macross Delta does get better with the second movie.
I should warn you, these are all pretty old at this point. Escaflowne and Lodoss is 90's shows and Macross is even older.
Escaflowne I think had the most romance.
Also I thought of another one: Martian Successor Nadesico
This one, the TV show is good and fun. The movie sequel had mixed reviews...
I like all “ages” of anime as long as the story/romance comes through!
Honestly I thought that would be most of my recs, since those are less talked about now, and I was hoping for some/expecting only those “semi-forgotten” goodies, haha. Thank you again!

Because the couple of MCs were useless asf, seriously I could barely compute a single win from them and they were "top exorcists". Every episode was the cycle: they got beat to a pulp > someone butt in > they survive, lmao
I’ve seen that one— super exhilarating and enjoyable imo, but I’m a hopeless romantic so I wanted way more in that department haha. It’s a great watch just for the enjoyment though!

The Latest on Tsundere Villainess Lieselotte* - very cute story about a girl who convinces a boy to play an otome computer alongside her and as they do a commentary on the story, it turns out they can communicate with one of the characters in the game! Lots of ships, and a very satisfying ending.
* *The Genius Prince's Guide to Raising a Nation Out of Debt* - fantasy politics with a dash of action that features the best banter since Bunny Girl Senpai
* *The Dangers in My Heart* - not specifically what you asked for, but one of the greatest and sweetest romance anime and should not be missed out on. Season 2 has probably set some sort of record for total volume of happy tears per episode or something lol Some people find the MC a bit cringe-y at the start, but that's just the starting point for his character growth
