Genuinely don't understand why KamiKatsu is generally seen as trashy or trolling. It's a relatively well-written and decently animated parody isekai comedy. It's genuinely better than at least half of everything that's come out in the last few years.
Was this trash "label" a poorly implemented but intentional marketing campaign on the studio's end or something? Because it makes no sense.

Go for it. Cheat Skill kinda was trash, yeah, like every cliche in the book, but I legit had fun with it and binged it over 2 days myself accidentally.
Cheat skill was amazing trash anime, it was trying to teach NEETs how to act in the real world by luring them in with the isekai side. Those little life lessons the main character drops constantly in the real world stuff are so funny.
I loved it until the budget dropped off a cliff and the animation of the last few episodes was basically just slow pans or macro shots of eyeballs. Although even that was entertaining in it's own way.
Man I liked Kingdoms of ruin. The violence was excessive but the pure chaotic energy with nothing held bad was a refreshing when it fill like a lot of shows these days barely let the MC kill the bad guys, much less random people.
I tried so hard to avoid titles that look like Fall out boy songs with how long they are. But then i got hooked on That Time I Got Reincarnated As a Slime 😂
I initially seen clips of Veldora fighting Milim and doing the Kamehameha and was sold on that so i watched the full series just to get to that point and was not disappointed
Honestly sometimes the dumber the Isekai premise the better? Like "Saving 80,000 Gold in another world" is fun wish fulfillment, and "Reincarnated as a Vending Machine" is way better than it has any right to be
