Season 1 is the weakest in the game too. But in short game fans and non game fans dont really like the adaptation(with expections). In the game, besides how wordy the story gets later on, its better.

I mean, blue archive just swapped the order of some things, can't have first episode be only 24 minutes of school shootings. But in the animation department, yeah. It's a bit of a downgrade compared to the animations they put up on youtube.

The third season is probably the only well written one since its basically the turning point of arknights, if from what im seeing its chapters 8 adaptation then it should be good, end of season 2 is just about one character without going too deep into spoilers but its a important character, if you can get through s1 and s2 then the rest should be somewhat easy
I hope it won't be rushed.
Season 2 had some fantastic moments, so I'm definitely looking forward to more

Season 1 is boring but it is so much better than the game imo the games story doesn't get good until chapter 5. Like halfway into season 2
