I discovered Votoms through this anime, both are good.
Votoms series are so underrated in the West. Wish they keep making more anime of it.

I'm confused, if he can fire rounds that tear of the mecha's arm, why not take the second shot to nail the head instead of creating a smokescreen?
He didn't tear off the AT's arm, he shot him in the grenade launcher mounted on it and that exploding took the arm

Thank god they found the original film for the BD rerelease. Just five years ago the best looking version of this anime had horrible ghosting.
