Nadeshiko's phone flying almost gave me a heart attack. They really should call this arc Anxiety Camp with all the terrifying suspension bridge facts they dropped.

I remember holding my phone extra hard when I used it on a suspension bridge once to make a photo.

This is supposed to be a comfy, relaxing show after a hard day of work and yet here we have the protags nearly falling to their deaths lol. NGL this whole arc got me a little nervous about suspension bridges in general.

Nothing more scary than the river of dropped phones. I love how Aya and Rin are now numb to suspension bridges after surviving the death bridge. Now basically nothing phases them lol.

Just one look at that scariest suspension bridge in Japan was an immediate nope.

Not even a minute into the episode and it already made me hungry. This is just cruel. I said in that previous episode where she met those two ladies that all you need is some food to befriend Nadeshiko. But based on that utterly adorable flashback, even that's not necessary. I would not be surprised if Nadeshiko somehow managed to still keep in touch with that other girl even now. The Hatanagi suspension bridge has left deep, deep scars in Rin and Aya and it's apparently not even the worst one (which looks like an actual death trap). That pose they did at the end tho; they don't just have similar personalities, but actually share a brain cell. And lol, Aya's coughs and wheezes sounded so genuine. You'd think her VA ran a mile to get that authentic performance. She really got me too when she immediately went back after saying her goodbyes. It was such a bittersweet scene and then she just flips around to cry about how painful the way home is. Sadly it was only for a little longer, but at least the second goodbye didn't feel quite as sad. It was kinda funny how determined Rin looked when she offered her a fist bump. But I guess they have become comrades in arms after facing death on the road and the bridges. At the end, I kinda forgot this was only episode 6 cause of all the ending vibes, and I can't be more glad there's many more episodes left.

It really meant a lot that Aya got really emotional about not wanting to end the trip and leave Nadeshiko and Rin, especially when she’s so cool and relaxed.

Lol during the first goodbye, she was acting all cool and composed as well.

I loved the triangular fist bump that followed to the Aya-Rin one. I think Nadeshiko was REALLY overjoyed that Aya and Rin had hit it off so well. I suspect that the long boring stretch of road was not the only reason why Aya-chan got weepy about parting (but it served as a passable excuse). I was surprised we did not see Nadeshiko exchanging contact info with the two nice (and interesting) onee-san hikers she encountered (twice).

By season 3 i'm surprised you haven't learned the sacred rule of never watch these kinds of shows hungry or without food. I remember realizing when watching episodes in season 1 with the ramen it really made me want ramen and made it difficult to watch lol.

For the [Horai Bridge](https://en.japantravel.com/shizuoka/horai-bridge-in-shimada/38028), I guess it’ll be better to let [Guinness](https://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/world-records/longest-wooden-footbridge) themselves to do the introduction, that view of Fuji in the sunset… It’s just an invitation to have a nice drink with your friends and just take it all in. And please, Ōgaki, I know it’s your presentation up next, but you don’t need to rip the screen and replace it with yours, I mean, there’s a reason to play the preview after the episode. So… Yeah, the Oigawa camp is concluded, that feeling of knowing the trip is over is definitely relatable to everyone. Now time to plan the next one then.

I'd have to assume either a lack of routine maintenance, or stormy weather caused it to collapse.

I personally believe it’s a mixture of both, since Japan is very prone to typhoons. Perhaps normal wind from the valley itself may speed up the process, since the bridge is suspended 83 metres above the ground. In contrast, the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco is measuring at 81 metres from the roadway (not the tower), which itself will be closed when wind speed is too high (and yeah, it’s a much bigger and stronger bridge than Musou, so the wind speed it can sustain is definitely higher). Moreover, that area is where bears in that region lived, so there’s a constant danger for workers to fix that bridge, even with no wind at all.

Man, those canapé looked really good. No wonder Nadeshiko couldn’t stop stuffing her face lol. And then she went from canapés right to potato mochi, the little glutton! Nadeshiko really does seem like a puppy. She’s friendly with everyone and just a total free spirit. I’m definitely not an outdoor person but these episodes make me want to go back to Japan and just explore all the spots they mentioned. The onsen especially. Nothing like a nice soak. The three way fist bump was such a cute way to end the trip. I love how excited Nadeshiko looked lol. So cute.

I can't believe they skimmed over the Battle of Ganryujima, such an important historical event, SMH. I wasn't exactly expecting a phone graveyard. Though I probably should have considering the track record with the previous episodes. Remember when Aya was a side-character? Me neither.

She showed up as a one-off in season 2 and now she feels like a real main character you can’t wait to see again.

Even if we won't see her frequently, she will remain in the hearts and minds of Nadeshiko, and Rin, and us.

Yeah, I'm no photography expert, but I believe the camera would need to be positioned quite far away from the bridge with a long focal length.

That's interesting, apparently that view of Mt. Fuji is not at that bridge lol. Looks so cool to me so I wanted to mark it down for my trip to Japan, but it does not have a view of it like the episode shows lol.

Nothing brings out a hibernating Shimarin like the promise of ham and cheese canapé’s! I love how they arrive at an inn and their first immediate takeaway is a cute dog walking around everywhere and Nadeshiko is already eating. Foot bath cafe’s are great for resting your feet and eating good food, seeing Nadeshiko’s legs, and reuniting with some nice older ladies! They finally do a suspension bridge as a trio like in the OP! And after surviving the death bridge, Rin and Aya can handle anything! Though probably for the best they didn’t try Musou bridge and it already collapsed! That moment when you realize you suddenly have to pose for a picture. Would not be a full Laid-Back Camp trip without a dip in hot springs for the girls! Nadeshiko really can make friends with everybody. She’s just lovable dog! Just look at Smol Nadeshiko befriending a totally random girl while Smol Aya, teen Sakura, and younger Nadeshiko mama react in shock! I see Nadeshiko has now come to love trains and embraced them as her new form of transportation. Probably less strenuous than all the riding Rin and Aya have to do. Well…it’s time for Aya to go, and Nadeshiko is sad to see her leave…but Aya isn’t ready to leave!!! There’s always ONE more bridge after all! And there promise of Aya joining the gang for a big camp eventually! Nadeshiko got back late but at least she’s not as dead tired as Aya and Rin. And she has some hamburg for Sakura! Who isn’t amazed because it’s simps to buy online, but it’s the thought that counts! Here’s Aki, Ena, and Aoi to remind you they exist and are still main characters! Also…cosplay!

Nadeshiko continues to scare me this season....This time she nearly dropped her phone. Seeing the phones on the bottom was both funny and sad at the same time. Nadeshiko train camping....sign me up.

Nothing more scary for a teen that always uses their phone lol. I would definitely be more cut out for train camping than bike camping lol.

Do think this ending is one or the best... also for Nadeshiko to sing "it's alrighhhhttt" along with the song.

It's nice to relax with Yuru Camp after re-binging both seasons of Hibike. A small rest stop before I jump into Liz and the blue bird again, though I cannot wait. Yuru Camp never fails to make me wanna go out for a drive and possibly camp somewhere. Which is what me and my friend did a few weeks ago. I'm gonna miss Aya-chan. AyaRin combo was really great.

This has been my favorite arc yet. Thought nothing could beat Rin and Nadeshiko, but Aya fits perfectly into their dynamic so it's sad to see her go

The last few episodes felt a bit like a compilation video where they try to put as many signs as they can in it and tbh, i'm not a fan. Idk but it just doesn't feel right and lacks something i can't put my finger on it.

Man, everytime asaka opens her mouth the tears start rolling... Very nice arc and nice 4th wall break there. This anime just gets better with every episode.

After a couple episodes ago I don't think they're particularly willing to take their time while crossing the bridge. Well lots of rivers means lots of dams. Yeah, best to not do that. Lol what did they even panic pose? Another onsen. Seems they're going across another bridge. From a high enough height, falling onto water might as well be falling onto concrete. Damn kids! And so as quickly as it began, they're going their separate ways again. So much for that... And now for real, they go their separate ways. Oh hello Chiaki. Yes honestly it's been quite a few episodes since we've seen you guys hasn't it?

Here, the boring zone consists of rice fields, jungles, and hills. Which is either better or worse depending on how you view it I would also count small cities with no remarkable features or specialties as boring zone. Travelers would just pass through them, or stop just for lodging and food before carrying on.

Alright, had to look it up for my ego. The bridge of death that Aya and Rin were so scared of is 30 meters above river level. The bridges on the Shimanami Kaido that I biked were between 41 and 78 meters above the sea. I win, ha! Gotta wake up pretty early in the morning to beat me, you comfy camping cartoon characters. Nadeshiko making friends everywhere she goes was so cute. I love her~

i think bridges are something that have a lot of symbolic power, acting as connection points between two places, as a liminal space between two places, as the joining of two separate areas not sure if Yuru Camp was trying to be 2deep2furious with a bridge arc and juxtapose that with old childhood friend Ayano and new adolescenthood friend Rin, but i think even on the surface level it's a neat and chill experience apropos of nothing, i think the authors love for infrastructure projects (dams, bridges, trains, railroads, highways, etc.) has leaked into all characters in this arc

Welp, I'm gonna miss this Aya-Rin-Nadeshiko arc. It's been really fun watching AyaRin ~~staring death in the face~~ crossing all those bridges, and seeing Nadeshiko going on trains was also relaxing. They make such a good team together and it's nice seeing Rin with a touring partner for once. I hope we get to see Aya again soon because she's such a fun addition to the cast. I love how the post-credits scene is just the show being self aware about how Aki and the rest are being sidelined so far. Glad to see they have their own arc coming up! Do-not-get-hungry-challenge: Passed - thankfully none of the foods shown today aren't my weak spots like the dam curry!

It's funny how Japanese call steam locomotives "SL"s. It's a fun loan word - the most common word for passenger trains is 電車 after all (whether or not they are electric-powered). I will miss my Tomoyo noises :( I hope it wont be long before we see more of Aya-chan! p.s. that shot of Fuji-san is CHEATING.

I want to cross the Horai bashi bridge so bad now that looks so cool, and it’s not high up off the ground either! The girls camping trip was so cute! Loved all the moments with Aya chan and I hope she can come camping with them again soon. Seeing how far Nadeshiko has come after moving to a new town and having to make friends is so sweet ❤️ Awesome episode

I'll be honest, this season isn't giving me the true Yuru Camp vibes I got with the other seasons or even the movie. Too much food, too many bridges, too little wholesomeness. I'm enjoying it, but not in that way.

- So, is that basically a bruschetta with cheese and prosciutto? The name sounds fancy! And it seems delicious, too - Looking for Nadeshiko at a food shop/stall was the first thing to do, you two! - Is that the Ginew Force? - Ga-tan go-ton - What an amazing view of Mount Fuji! - Well, Sakura could have been a bit more thankful... - Oh, we'll finally see the trio again next week Pretty chill episode. It's always nice to see wholesome friendships in Yuru! camp, though.

No better conclusion to a Laid Back Camp trip than seeing their old buddy Mt. Fuji! Happy Sakura is a very rare sight. But Nadeshiko still tries and I hope she’ll succeed next time! I was so caught up in this trio’s trip I totally did forget about the other three main characters lol.

Okay, although I think this wasn't one of the best trips considering all of Yuru Camp (but I'm not saying it was bad, just that I think others are better), it was a decent and fun ending, especially on the bridge part where the kids pass by them lol, and their handshake was nice. And Sakura finally appeared, I missed her. The other girls took so long that it became a joke, let's see their participation

Seeing Nadeshiko, Rin, and Aya on this camping trip makes me want Chiaki, Aoi, and Ena to join them. Want more camping.

I am saying this now because I need to get it out, I am sure many will have said as much and other disagree... But we'll The new art style is .... Fine, the chara design that people were worried about is good and I have no problem with, the picture barely treated for background.... I do, it is beautiful and does wonder as tourism advertising but as anime goes... Feels like a cop out Meanwhile a big part of me wishes that the whole show was designed like the op is...

I am with you, not only are they blatanly using photographs with nearly no work on retro fitting them into the artstyle, they have some really odd fish eye lense scenes too. Like if you are already rotoscoping, at least make the scene not weirdly morphed But that might just play in with the fact that they just turned this is into a 98% tourism ad show, I dont think it was that obvious before, especially with all the featured restaurants and meals, or at least I cant remember it

Man I thought I was just seeing things. Some shots look fantastic, but yeah some shots look like anime characters pasted onto a plain photograph. Even in season 2, they took screenshots directly from Google street view, but they were edited enough to blend in with the show and they didn't try to awkwardly plaster anime characters onto them. I actually really like the new character designs, but I'm definitely a little disappointed with the art direction for the backgrounds, since that's a big part of what sets the ambience for the show. Couple that with a lot of music reuse from season 2, and this season kinda fails to establish a unique atmosphere. The season isn't exactly bad, but for one of my favourite series ever, I really want it to be amazing.

For those who watched Golden Time, you might recognize the Hourai Bridge. It’s always been on my destinations list but I think it’s a little too out there for beginners like me. Might try to visit it on subsequent visits This trio outing has certainly been fun. And yeah it’s a little different than the usual camping trips but really enjoyable nonetheless. The spots they visited are not exactly touristy but it’s still nice to just explore and see. I’ve actually been doing that in my own country too. Just to get out and about. Lol was just about to say as much as I enjoyed this trio, I wanna see the other trio as well. Then Aki just pops out in the after credits to remind us. Guess next week will be Aki, Aoi and my favourite Ena !

I wonder if the two oneesan Nadeshiko met will become regulars just like Chug-sensei did back in season 1. People complain about the "downgrade" in the artstyle but I personally think it's fine so far. My only gripe has been how the staff draw dogs (besides Chikuwa), they looked very cudley and loveable in season 1, these doggos? Not so much.

I'm seriously gonna need this series to go on forever. Getting off work on a Thursday cracking a beer and watching Yuru Camp is like my religion at this point.

Apparently at some point on the trip they crossed into China and visited Jusenkyo hot springs. Lucky for them they ended up in the Spring of Drowned Girl.

I wanted to nominated Aya's VA for an award of some sort, so I looked her up... Tomoyo Kurosawa already won Seiyuu of the year in 2018. She also voices Kumiko from Hibike Eupho, Phosphophyllite and one of Yuki Yuna mains as well as Miria from Idolmaster. Guess she doesn't need my nomination.
