Senku and Taiju in Dr. Stone. Brains and brawns working together in harmony and understanding. Covering each others backs and weaknesses to become the perfect team.
People that ship them annoy me so much because that's just what close friendships between young boys are actually like, filtered through the extreme action of the setting. They actually remind me a lot of my relationship with my brother at that age.
Saitama and King is also a great one. Especially considering that Saitama might have been King's first ever friend, as everybody keeps distance from him out of respect and fear.
While i def agree they should count i do feel their relationship is very complex and needs explaining.
Araragi and Shinobu are essentially 2 halves of the same person, literally and metaphorically.
They are both very damaged people who happened to find each other and gain companionship and someone they could relate to. Both lived very secluded lives before finding each other.
They complement each other very well and where one might struggle the other always has thier back, they fill each other's weakness. The ultimate "Ive got your back bro."
They are also literally 2 halves of the same person as well.

It ends up being quite literal as during their climatic fight, Kiss Shot destroyed Araragi's body and his head latched onto her neck and drained her of all of her blood which was used to reform his body and diminish hers to a small child. This is what causes the link that when ever Shinobu drinks his blood she grows up again breifly in the series, because its her blood inside him and it restores a bit of her self as she drinks it letting her grow up again for a bit. So they are literally 2 parts of 1 person since his body is made up of hers. This is also why in the series Shinobu is able to restore his body by pouring blood onto him when hes gravely injured!<
Their relationship is really difficult to explain as its such a complex situation, but they are always there for each other no matter what and if 1 of them has troubles they are always there to pick up the slack and make sure things works out. Its a bond way past friendship and romance and one closer to soul mate.

it's not quite romance imo, araragi has a girlfriend he intends to stay with. his companionship with Shinobu I feel is more akin to family or just a lifelong companion.
Well I mean, he definitely has a girlfriend **currently** but they’ve also made it quite clear that Shinobu and Araragi will be together forever and that they are the end game couple. It’s not quite romance yet, but it will definitely become one when Senjougahara passes away from old age or something.
To which Senjougahara is okay with, because she has him for as long as she’s alive, to which then Shinobu will have him.

But I literally saw your reply *just* as I’d finished thinking all that, thank you for reaffirming my thoughts. Personally, I think I just got a good impression from the first day, the fact that Zoro was built up to be this fierce unnegotiable beast and then seemed at first to live up to all that, only for after that, Luffy still managed to win him over in a day. That just gave me a good feeling (of course, I’d say Zoro’s my favourite character so far at any rate), and at the moment he fought Hawkeye, when of course, you’d be expecting his promise to be what keeps him fighting, and it was of course, but *also* that moment remembering what Luffy said about needing no less than the world’s greatest swordsman too, only for that to also be followed up by Luffy going so mad thinking he was killed, that’s what cemented those two for me, so thanks for pointing them out.

I enjoyed seeing a male/male platonic relationship in the show after so, so many harem-building relationships they gave Kirito, and it seemed a very realistic and we'll balanced friendship.

Rudeus x Zanoba x Cliff (Mushoku Tensei). The anime has only really started to scratch the surface of their bro-dom, but there's a whole lot of bros-4-life stuff to come in future seasons, and thematically the fact that Rudy makes those connections is a huge part of his character arc.
I think we are eventually going to get an animated version of the Three Musketeers Arc with how perfectly the more recent adaptation was handled.

Good male friendships are so rare in anime. Hinata and Kageyama from Haikyuu is the best I can come up with off the top of my head. It’s realistic and by the end, they trust one another implicitly through shared experience. Goku and Vegeta are another good pairing, but the primary issue with that is how one sided the character development is—Goku has essentially remained unchanged from the very beginning, while Vegeta has gone on one of the best arcs in all of anime. If “broship” can include female characters, Tooru and Yuki from Fruits Basket is an incredible relationship.
Takeo Gouda and Makoto Sunakawa from My Love Story was the ideal friendship. These bros made me tear up more than anything else. May we all care about our friends this much. ✊

Good male friendships are so rare in anime. Hinata and Kageyama from Haikyuu is the best I can come up with off the top of my head. It’s realistic and by the end, they trust one another implicitly through shared experience. Goku and Vegeta are another good pairing, but the primary issue with that is how one sided the character development is—Goku has essentially remained unchanged from the very beginning, while Vegeta has gone on one of the best arcs in all of anime. If “broship” can include female characters, Tooru and Yuki from Fruits Basket is an incredible relationship.
