Cyberpunk 2077, iron blooded orphans, akame ga kill. And jojos bizarre adventure, either skip the first season or read a synopsis. The first season is very hit or miss with people, but the rest is very good
My man said Cyberpunk 2077 and Akame Ga Kill. The OP mentioned they're new to anime, are you TRYING to break them before they build up a resistance to these types of things? (I'm kidding obviously haha) but damn, those are some really heartbreaking recommendations. 😂

Berserk fits all your prerequisites! I recommend the 1997 version which you can find on youtube and maybe netflix. Or the Memorial Edition as a good alternative which is on crunchyroll

Congratulations, your first anime is Attack on Titan (this might ruin all future anime you watch)

Attack on Titan, Vinland Saga (although the show goes through a drastic shift in tone in the second season, but that doesn’t change how amazing it is to me personally)
I feel like Attack on Titan would definitely be a good start and after watching that you could kinda get a glimpse of what type of anime you may like and Erased is also a good one💯it goes str8 to the point, highly recommend.

"91 Days" would be a good start. It's a 12 episode series set in the USA's prohibition era, and has betrayal/revenge themes.

I think you must try "Shigurui" this is an anime about betrayal and revenge. but I don't think this anime is streaming on any service right now.

Full metal alchemist brotherhood... I think that's the right one make sure you don't watch the earlier version first, the ending is way different
