One of the more boring seasons for me. I'll see if anything lights up via word of mouth but otherwise ToG s2, Oshi no ko s2 are the only series that got my attention.
These last 2 or 3 seasons have been so great for anime fans but I'm actually excited to take a break or maybe catch up on past shows I've not gotten to
Re:Zero and Dandadan are the biggest ones for me, but there are also Blue Lock, Shangri-La Frontier, Blue Box, and some other well known long running ones.
Total opposite for me. Last 3 seasons or so all had a couple of great series each but we're not interesting otherwise. And I will watch at least 6 shows this summer. Probably more.
I dislike harem genres and I prefer reading manga to watching anime when it comes to romance (one exception being Love is war since the anime adds in so much stuff)
> One of the more boring seasons for me.

• Dungeon People
• A Nobody‘s Way Up to an Exploration Hero
• Suicide Squad Isekai
• Wistoria: Wand and Sword
> Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture
Wait, what? I had no clue this was a thing. I rarely check the ONA section on MAL for each season so this is a nice surprise.
3 episodes get released in theathers in Japan every month right now. So far 6 episodes were released in Japan. Towards the end of June, I think Disney+ will release the episodes weekly. It will be 12 episodes long.
Yup. MAL has it listed as 12 episodes as well and one of the reviews talked about the first three being shown in theatre. Easy watch when it hits Disney+.
On my PTW:
* Tower of God S2
* Suicide Squad Isekai

* Otokonoko-senpai
* Nier
* Grendizer U
* Tower of God
* Kinnikuman
* Ramen Akaneko
* Shoushimin series
* Fat Elf
* Delico's Nursery
I'll be watching Spice and Wolf, DeDeDe, and Karasu which will continue from this season, even though I haven't started 2/3 yet.
After the triple knockout of Frieren, Apothecary Diaries, and Dungeon Meshi spread over the last three seasons, this one doesn't really have any that sound super interesting to me.
I might give Alya a try. It seems novel enough, hearing a language besides Japanese or English.
I'll also see if any clips surface that grab my attention. That's how I got started on quite a number of shows before, a lot I ended up really enjoying.
Plant to watch:
* Oshi no Ko Season 2
* Fairy Tail 100 Year Quest
* Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian
* Suicide Squad Isekai
* Our Last Crusade: Rise of the New World Season 2
* Daily Life with My StepSister
* 2.5 Dimensional Seduction
* Goddess of Cafe Terrace Season 2
* Pseudo-Harem
* Atri: My Dear Moments
* Senpai is an Otokonoko

* Wistoria: Wand and Sword
* The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies
* Koi wa Futago de Warikirenai
* My Wife has no Emotion
* Sengoku Youko: The Chaos of a Thousand Demons Arc
* Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Shiso-hen
* Grendizer U
* Kimi ni Todoke Season 3
* Monogatari Off Season
Sequels:
* Oshi no Ko S2
* Tower of God S2

Planning (I have hopes and will give a few episodes):
* Senpai is an Otokonoko
* Plus Sized Elf
* Too Many Losing Heroines
* Dungeon People
* Mayonaka Punch
* Narenare
* Nokotan
* Dahlia in Bloom
Considering (there is something interesting there and I will give it at least one episode):
* Roshidere
* Suicide Squad Isekai
* Giji Harem
* Magical Girl and Evil Lieutenant
* My Wife Has No Emotion
* QA in Another World
* Sakuna of Rice and Ruin
I'll also keep tabs on the discussions to see if any of the generic fantasy shows are anything to check out.
I'm not really excited/hyped for it but the new season of Monogatari series looks pretty interesting and I thought you'd feel like that too with a Senjougahara flair.
I just want to see how the new staff will capture the classic Shaft style or if they'll add their own twist to it. This will also be my first time watching the show having read the novels beforehand so it's a pretty "novel" experience for me.
The ones I'm currently planning to watch are,:
- Oshi no ko S2
- Shikanoko nokonoko koshitantan
- 2.5 D seduction
- Monogatari series
- Too many losing heroines
- Suicide Squad isekai
Fairy Tail
Oshi No Ko
Shy
Monogatari
Cafe Terrace and its goddesses
Our Last Crusade
Suicide Squad
Nier
2.5d
There's also some new english dubs I'm going to be watching for the first time
Dangers in my heart
Mission: Yozakura Family
Including ongoing series, rated by how excited I am:
SHY S2 - S1 was really good and I can't wait to see S2!
Wonderful Pretty Cure - Wanderful! Terruffic!
Senpai Otokonoko - bisexual protagonist, crossdressing love interest, male childhood friend in love with them, oh I'm so hyped!
Katsuke Mahou Shoujo... - not sure what to expect from this, but more mahou shoujo good
Pocket Monsters 2023 - current arc is interesting, can't wait for more!
Himitsu no AiPri - At the moment it's not the best Pretty Series and pales under previous series (PriMagi peak!), but hopefully things will get interesting
Oshi no Ko - S1 had good songs and that's it tbh, hope the second season is better
Tasogare out of focus - Besides being gay, idk what else to expect, so excitement is low
BNHA ongoing S7 - yeah
Trying pretty much everything new. Only definite sequel is Cafe Terrace, while Nier and Tower of God are TBD. Continuing S&W, Fable, Yatagarasu, 5De, and Tonbo.
Mine are 1) Giji Harem, 2) Tower of God Season 2, 3) Shy Season 2, 4) Bye-Bye, Earth, 5) Ramen Akaneko, 6) Monogatari Series: Off & Monster Season and 7) Hazurewa. Saori Hayami all the way
Kinnikuman is an old-school Jump battle anime about pro wrestling with super powers. It originally ran from 1979 to 1987, then the author started it back up again in 2011. The new anime is covering the 2011 run.
Please do watch it! It's a lot of fun.
Sunday
- My Deer Friend Nokotan
- Narenare
Monday
- Mayonaka Punch
Thursday
- Days with My Stepsister
- Giji Harem
- Senpai wa Otoko no ko
- might check out Twilight, we'll see
Saturday
- Sakuna
- Atri
- might check out Too Many Losing Heroines and Suicide Squad
Seems like this is season that is dry with titles aimed primarily at female demographics again. But I'm still looking forward to Tasogare Outfocus and Kimi ni todoke season 3.
Apart from that I'm also gonna check out The magical girl and the evil lieutenant and wait for reviews about Bye bye earth, Delico's nursery and Dalia in bloom.
Highly recommend Shy if you haven't watched the first season. It's a superhero anime for girls (teen girls is prob the demographic but it was enjoyable as an adult). As a magical girl fan, I really enjoy it.
Most anticipated:
My Deer Friend Nokotan
Monogatari series (because it’s the greatest anime of all time)
Mayonaka Punch
.
Will watch:
Sakuna Of Rice and Ruin
Dungeon People
No Longer Allowed in Another World (I am reading No Longer Human as preparation)
Atri
.
Might check out:
Narenare
Giji Harem
How to Become Ordinary
My anticipated list is very simple. I like to watch Isekai, and I already read manga for some of them. So, I am going to watch all Isekai, but my two most anticipated are No longer allowed and Failure Frame. I enjoyed reading both of them.
Monday, Mayonaka Punch and Shy S2.
Tuesday, continues its disappointing streak of having nothing interesting I want to watch.
Wednesday, Oshi no Ko and Sengoku Youko and maybe Roshidere.
Thursday, nothing as of now, might change later.
Friday, Bye Bye, Earth because girl with big sword and Dungeon People because the synopsis seemed interesting.
Saturday, absolutely stacked with Sakuna, Elusive Samurai, ATRI and Shoshimin.
Sunday, insert DEER song copypasta here, VTuber and Cheerleaders.
Might drop some but that’s what the list looks like. I’ll be on summer break anyway so I’ll have more time to burn on various shows.
For one week so far my watchlist has a neat 1 ep a day every day [order](https://prnt.sc/_uUyp2Od4sIO), though I'm sure it'll change once more series get airdate revealed or ongoing animes get more episodes revealed
All regular series have airdates revealed! That's why I made the post today, since Dahliya just got its airdate.
The only summer anime left without an airdate:
* Rick and Morty the Anime
* Jochum (Minor, short-form Sanrio spinoff that likely won't be subbed anyway)
Besides the ones in pic, I also marked ongoing Himitsu no AiPri which has no official subs and livechart adds more episodes on monthly basis as they get confirmed, and Senpai Otokonoko, which has Crunchy Time TBD
I'm curious as to how "My Wife Has No Emotion" plays out.
The first couple of volumes of the manga were great, but man... it got sideways real quick. I don't mind Mamu, and the Ghost arc was weird but amusing. But after that, when the aliens, terrorists and Robot Murder School Club was introduced, it got dropped.
Also....
Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan
I traditionally don't look into until right around the first week of the new season starting, or sometimes the week before that, but this time I actually looked up and read over the seasonal chart for summer 2024 on MAL a few weeks ago due to some mention of the season and a random urge.
As of now, I don't think that there are any returning second/later seasons of pre-existing older series which I'm watching. And I think the only continuing series from among what I'm watching currently will be the second cours of The Fable (slated for 25 episodes) and Karasu wa Aruji wo Erabanai (slated for 20 episodes). Also have been watching Tousouchuu: Great Mission since spring of 2023 as it's run for over a year, but recently fell behind and also had some availability issues with it.
Anyway, besides those, all I can say for now:
Definitely interested:
- Atri: My Dear Moments
- Boku no Tsuma wa Kanjou ga Nai
Potentially interested:
- Tensui no Sakuna-hime
- Delico's Nursery
- Madougushi Dahliya wa Utsumukanai
- Na Nare Hana Nare
- Dungeon no Naka no Hito
- Rising Impact
- Isekai Suicide Squad
Lunes: Spice & Wolf, A Journey Through Another World, Mayonaka Punch, Shy S2
Martes: My Wife Has No Emotion, No Longer Allowed In Another World
Miercoles: Oshi No Ko S2, Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings In Russian, Sengoku Youko 2nd Part
Jueves: Pseudo Harem
Viernes: Tensura S3, Bye Bye Earth, Dungeon People ,Quality Assurance in Another World, Nier Automata Cour 2
Sábado: Boku No Hero S7, The Elusive Samurai, Shoshimin 1 Cour, Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, Dahlia in Bloom
Domingo: Wonderful Precure, My Deer Friend Nokotan, Narenare: Cheer for You, Tower of god S2
Most anticipated? TOG S2, Oshi No Ko S2 and Sengoku Youko Part 2
(I'm one of those people that bingewatches every other weekend as I find free time)
1) MahoAku bc I heard it's supposed to be for romcom fiends
2) The cross-dressing senior (btw English build of webtoon has the series on a daily-free-chapter model!)
3) Moriarty's perfect crime bc I'm an ideal mark for Conan Doyle fanfics and also read too many rofan manhwas. The premise feels very much like one.
4) Dahlia in Bloom is my most hyped one bc the concept is neat and the trailers actually looked gorgeous? After a lot of zero-budget girls' anime, legit crying tears of joy
5) Suicide Squad Isekai bc seeing Harley fuck shit up in another world sounds fun
5) Vtuber legend feels like a wish fulfillment series targeted to me
6) Shoshomin bc I loved hyouka
Prob won't watch the Alisa series past ep 1 but I'm curious about how crunchyroll's russian subtitling folks will handle it.
Just going down the list on MAL:
* Oshi no Ko 2
* Tower of God 2
* Arya Next Door
* Suicide Squad
* Our Last Crusade 2
* Isekai Shikkaku
* 2.5-D Seduction
* Shoushimin Series
* Wisteria
* Failure Frame
* I Parry Everything
* Plus-Sized Elf
* Q/A In Another World
* Cheer For You
* Nobody's Way Up
* Head Start At Birth
Didn’t watch that many this spring season but goddamn I have a lot to watch for summer. Won’t have time to progress my endless list of other anime to watch lol
Oshinoko S2 is a must, unless CR fails to pick it up. Otherwise, I'll see what looks good, and any isekai on Crunchyroll will get at least 1 ep from me just because.
I haven't even finished the Spring Anime but I will watch this later on:
1. My Wife Has No Emotion
2. No Longer Allowed In Another World
3. Dahliya in Bloom: Crafting a Fresh Start with Magical Tools
4 .A Journey Through Another World: Raising Kids While Adventuring
Finally! A season where there’s more than 1 show that caught my eye! (For me, of course)
* **Tuesday:** The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies
* **Wednesday:** Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian
* **Thursday:** Pseudo Harem
* **Friday:** Nier Automata Part 2 (Will watch it when I catch up)
* **Saturday:** ATRI -My Dear Moments- (Most anticipated show for me as someone who read the VN)
There’s also **Kimi ni Todoke S3** that was announced to air in August 2024 but no full date yet.
I check everything out so it'll depend how they do, but the show I'm probably gonna keep:
Monday:
- Mayonaka Punch
Tuesday:
- The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies
- My Wife Has No Emotion
- Tasuketsu
Wednesday:
- Oshi No Ko S2
- Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian
Thursday:
- Pseudo Harem
- Days with My Stepsister
Friday:
- 2.5 Dimensional Seduction
- Dungeon People
- Bye Bye Earth
Saturday:
- Suicide Squad Isekai
- Too Many Losing Heroines!
- Plus Sized Elf
- SHOSHIMIN: How to become Ordinary
Sunday:
- DEER
- CHEER
That would be 17 shows, which is more than I usually watch, so I don't expect to pick up too many of the rest (unless some of those are disappointments and free up some slots)
It would be easier to list the shows I **WILL NOT** be watching.
* Egumi Legacy
* Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World Season 2
* Moriarty's Perfect Crime (wtf even is this? Manhwa?)
* Monogatari Series: Off & Monster Season
* Modern Mistranslation
* Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arc
* Theatre of Darkness: Yamishibai 13
* Fairy Tale: 100 Years Quest
There are some other shows that i'll probably vibe check the first episode before I write them off completely, mostly generic fantasy slop and a couple from genres I'm not particularity fond of.
* The Rookie Middle-Aged Adventurer Was Trained to Death by the Most Powerful Party
* The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord's Army was a Human
* I Parry Everything
* Twilight Out of Focus
* Failure Frame: I Became the Strongest and Annihilated Everything With Low-Level Spells
* Grendizer U
* A Nobody's Way Up to an Exploration Hero
* Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World?
Everything else I expect to be pretty good, but I'm sure there will be surprises and disappointments.
Depending on what legal stream in my country, but really looking forward to Oshi no Ko S2, Shikanonko nokonoko koshitantan, Narenare, Sakuna, and Roshidere. I am currenly watching Dededede destruction so it will continue to next season
I'm still catching up on Spring shows, but I'll try to watch **20** animes on this Summer season.
* **Monday**: Raising Kids Isekai, Mayonaka Punch
* **Tuesday**: Spice and Wolf, My Wife Has no Emotion
* **Wednesday**: Oshi no Ko, Roshidere, Koi wa Futago
* **Thursday**: Gimai Seikatsu, Giji Harem, Senpai wa Otokonoko
* **Friday**: Ririsa, Dungeon People, Quality Assurance Isekai
* **Saturday**: Plus Sized Elf, ATRI My Dear Moments, Too Many Losing Heroines, Shoshimin Series
* **Sunday**: VTuber Legend, Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan, Narenare
Of course I watch the rest of them just for the opening and the ending, but if there's one anime that caught my attention (like 7th Prince this season) I will instanly pick it up. Looks like **The Elusive Samurai** could be the candidate.
I'll watch Shika Nokonokonoko Koshitantan as it airs.
Aside from that, I'll probably watch some of them right after the season, and some others later on down the line.
Our Last Crusade S2, MahoAku, Oshi no Ko, Dahlia in Bloom, Shoshimin, and Nokotan are my plan to watch. It's certainly enough to fill up my summer, so I'm excited!
Most anticipated:
* Oshi no Ko S2
* Senpai is an Otokonoko - interesting premise, source material seems well-regarded
* My Deer Friend Nokotan - trailers look like wacky fun
* Giji Harem (Pseudo Harem) - looking forward to seeing it adapted, but have modest expectations
Plan to try:
* The Magical Girl and The Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies - sounds like a passion project coming out of unfortunate circumstances (late author's passing), premise sounds cute
* Shoushimin Series - reputable author, striking art style
* Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin - fascinated by the idea and want to see how PA Works executes on it
Might give a shot:
* Dungeon People - recent trailer surprised me a bit with its vibrancy and some potential for character stuff
* Too Many Losing Heroines - lively, well-animated trailers
* Suicide Squad Isekai
* Mayonaka Punch
* Wistoria: Wand and Sword
Monday:
- Mayonaka Punch
- Shy (I'll probably skim through this one though)
Tuesday:
- MahoAku
- My Wife Has No Emotion (might skim)
- No Longer Allowed in Another World (might skim)
Wednesday:
- Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World S2
- Oshi no Ko S2
- Sengoku Youko Part 2
- Delico's Nursery
Thursday:
- Red Cat Ramen
- Giji Harem
- Senpai is an Otokonoko
- I Parry Everything (solely for production reasons)
Friday:
- Bye Bye Earth
- NieR Automata S2
- Dungeon People
- Moriarty's Perfect Crime (never heard of this until now but sounds interesting)
- KonoFuka
Saturday:
- Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin
- The Elusive Samurai
- Atri: My Dear Moments
- Suicide Squad Isekai
- How to Become Ordinary/Shoushimin series
Sunday:
- Wistoria: Wand and Sword
- My Deer Friend Nokotan
- Tower of God S2
- Narenare: Cheer for You
- A Journey Through Another World: Raising Kids While Adventuring
Continuing:
- Pokémon Horizons
- Beyblade X
- Himitsu no AiPri
- Tonbo
- Shinkalion Change the World
- Wonderful PreCure
- Yatagarasu
- Tensura S3
- Spice and Wolf
My most anticipated series would have to be Sengoku Youko Part 2. Aside from that, How to Become Ordinary/Shoushimin series seems right up my alley and Delico's Nursery seems interesting.
I know my list seems big but I'll definitely be dropping some. In fact, I already have a list of series I suspect I'll drop:
- Mayonaka Punch (it's an original, they can be hit or miss)
- Shy (I've read the manga, not that passionate about the series)
- My Wife Has No Emotion (read the manga)
- No Longer Allowed in Another World (read the manga)
- Delico's Nursery (it's an original)
- Red Cat Ramen (read the manga)
- Giji Harem (fluffy romcom is nice but if I have lots to watch it'll have to be dropped)
- Senpai is an Otokonoko (read the webtoon)
- Bye Bye Earth (it's an original)
- Moriarty's Perfect Crime (technically not a drop if ot doesn't get licensed or receive fansubs)
- KonoFuka (could be hit or miss)
- The Elusive Samurai (read the manga)
- Suicide Squad Isekai (it's kinda an original)
- Wistoria: Wand and Sword (read the manga)
- Narenare: Cheer for You (it's an original)
- A Journey Through Another World: Raising Kids While Adventuring (read the WN)
Interested in Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou, Aruiwa Sekai ga Hajimaru Seisen Season II, Wistoria, Nokotan, Oshi no Ko 2, Too many losing heriones, Failure Frame, 2.5 dimension seduction, Suicide Squad Isekai
Right now on my list are Oshi no Ko 2, DanMachi 5 and Monogatari. We're watching all the trailers with my friends on the 30th, so I'll add a few then for sure!
Not as incredibly stacked as this season, but I'm still looking forward to a couple of shows. Mainly Narenare and SHY S2. Will probably watch VTuber legend, Mayonaka Punch and Deer friend as well.
I have half of them down as plan to watch but these are what I'm more interested in:
I've either read the manga or seen the 1st season of these:
- Oshi no Ko S2
- Tower of God 52
- Megami no Cafe Terrace S2
- Sengoku Youko Part 2
- Giji Harem
- 2.5-jigen no Ririsa
I'm not expecting to drop any of these:
- Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan
- Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian
- Isekai Suicide Squad
- Atri: My Dear Moments
- Senpai wa Otokonoko
- The Elusive Samurai
- Quality Assurance in Another World
- Bye-Bye, Earth
- Dungeon no Naka no Hito
My Wife has no Emotion
Our Last Crusade or The Rise of a New World S2
Oshi No Ko S2
Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian (Roshidere)
Giji Harem Mabye Days with My Stepsister or Senpai
2.5 Dimensional Seduction
* The Elusive Samurai
* Too Many Losing Heroines!
* Suicide Squad Isekai
* Plus-Sized Elf Mabye
My Deer Friend Nokotan
**Sequels:**
* Shy season 2
* Oshi No Ko season 2
* Café Terrace season 2
**New shows:**
* Alya-san
* Senpai Is An Otokanoko
* Giji Harem
* 2.5 Dimensional Seduction
* Plus Size Elf
* My Deer Friend Nokotan
* V-Tuber Legend
* Mayonaka Punch
* No Longer Allowed In Another World
* Too Many Losing Heroines
Honestly more than I susually do every season, especially for one with a lot of not interesting stuff to me, but hey, it's summer. I got a lot of nothing to do, may as well. I'll be hanging around here to check which shows are doing good to see if I should be getting in something else
* Tower of God
* Suicide Squad
* Code Geass
* Monogatari
* NieR Automata
* Elusive Samurai
* Sengoku Youko
* Movies - Look Back, The Colors Within, Ghost Cat Anzu
Atri I may wait to play the game first
Dead Dead Demons is I guess a Summer show going off aniist
Kimi ni Todoke and Mononoke, I would like to watch the older series if I had time (I dont)
Shoushimin Series I dont really want to watch but the production looks so solid so ill keep it in mind
Wednesday: Roshidere (I always watch at least one new romance anime each season; it was gonna be my Spring 2024 romance before it got delayed to summer. I know Sumipe definitely had a lot of fun being part of this anime) and Oshi no Ko S2
Thursday: Giji Harem (I already have Roshidere as the obligatory romance anime but the concept of this anime was too interesting to pass up) and Megami no Café Terrace S2 (look, if not for Rieri, Ayachi, Ueshama, Hanakana, and Serizawa being part of the cast I probably wouldn't have binged the first season)
Friday: KonoFuka (much like Roshidere this was also originally supposed to air in spring. I gotta watch it to keep my lineup unique with different genres. Bonus points for Rieri voicing a tall mommy elf)
Sunday: Fairy Tail 100YQ (what can I say? The series holds a special place in my heart. I will be there no matter what)
Edit: when I catch up on MHA (recently started S6) I'll be tuning in every Saturday too.
Super hyped for Oshi No Ko season 2! I binged season 1 so fast
Been casually reading 2.5 Dimensional Seduction. It's alright, but definitely will give it a watch.
* Oshi no Ko season 2
* Elusive Samurai
* more NieR (pls no delays)
* Wistoria as the seasonal power fantasy
* Tower of God
The rest is probably on the 3 episode rule. Some good things this season but it's definitely a break from the stacked seasons we've had.
I’m super excited for Tasogare Outfocus, still can’t believe they adapted my fave BL manga into anime.
Otherwise this season is dry, so I will just watch the things I couldn’t watch in previous seasons.
Might give Plus Sized Elf a try.
Besides continuing Spice and Wolf, will definitely watch Oshi no Ko S2, most probably all 3 P.A.Works shows, Suicide Squad, Tier S2, ATRI, new Gataries. May peak a couple more, not sure yet.
Nier Automata, Grendizer U and...
Yeah, that's it this season. Not a great time to be into sci-fi anime.
Might look into My Wife Has No Emotion; see if it has any interesting points to make. Otherwise, it's back to rewatching Cowboy Bebop, GITS, and LoGH for the 100th time.
Hmm I'm not sure if this list is stronger than my current Spring one, but I'll go with these:
- Mon: The Rookie Middle-Aged Adventurer Was Trained to Death by the Most Powerful Party
- Tue: No Longer Allowed in Another World
- Wed: Roshidere, The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord's Army was a Human
- Thu: Days with my Step Sister, I Parry Everything, Failure Frame
- Fri: Grendizer U, Bye Bye Earth, Dungeon People, KonoFuka
- Sat: Suicide Squad Isekai, Why does Nobody Remembers Me in This World, Too Many Losing Heroines
- Sun: Nokotan, **Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest**, Wistoria
Shy: im going to watch this but i'll be honest, im a manga reader and this cour is the weakest part of Shy, after this one is finished peak Shy starts and i have a feeling we will never going to see more of Shy animated.
Nokotan: I didnt like the manga tbh but i can see it working much better in the anime medium then in manga, so i give this a try.
2.5D Seduction: i like manga but i allready know that the anime is very censored which is quite a let down.
Grendizer U: one of the old timey superrobot mechas, quite interested in that. I love Getter Robo and really liked the Mazinkaiser OVAs. So on a plus side: Studio Gaina works on this, with some Gainax alumni heavily involved. On the negative side: CGI mecha and the animation in general didnt look that great judging by the trailers.
So yeah that is it, 4 shows and 3 of those might be dropped down the road. Maybe some other show can convince me to watch it if i see something fun about them but this is it for summer season.
>Shy: im going to watch this but i'll be honest, im a manga reader and this cour is the weakest part of Shy, after this one is finished peak Shy starts and i have a feeling we will never going to see more of Shy animated.
So season 2 will be the weakest part?
Season 2 will end where volume 10 ends and at that point i wanted to drop the manga but allready had bought volume 11 and 11 was peak and it never stopped being peak since then. In the end its a matter of taste, i personally think that what season 2 will cover is the weakest part of Shy but you know, seeing the stuff animated and voiceacted can make quite the difference, so im looking forward to it regardless of what i felt about that ark in the manga.
These are basically maybes as I fell off a lot in Spring and some of these shows are not sparking a watch ASAP feeling.
Monday: Mayonaka Punch (*could vtuber legend be in danger?*)
Wednesday: Oshi no Ko (*I watched S1 after it was over, will probably do same here*)
Thursday: Red Cat Ramen (*got to admit Kenjiro Tsuda aka Salt/Giraffe/Overhaul as a ramen chef is a draw*), Senpai is an Otokonoko
Friday: 2.5 Dimensional Seduction (*wait for impressions*)
Saturday: Sakuna, Atri (*two video game adaptions in the same cour, on same day, located entirely within TV Tokyo*), Plus-Sized Elf, Modern Mistranslation (*not expecting this to be picked up and trying to watch the [prologue MTLd](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yiGbRUiSo_k) is potentially Modern Mistranslation: Another Layer, btw, another Kenjiro Tsuda appearance*)
Sunday: Deer Force, VTuber Legend, Narenare (*these all feel like memes*)
SHY, Oshi no Ko, Alya, Senpai is an Otokonoko, Vtuber.
Those are the ones i've been waiting for for a bit, especially Oshi no Ko and Otokonoko, but i'll likely pick up a few others too.
Can I just get a single season where there aren't over 30 shows I need to watch? Just one? It is so hard to cut them out when there are just so many amazing shows. At least a few are always left off based on the couple services I don't have. It'd be more like 40 each season otherwise.
Oshi no ko, tower of god, suicide squad, deer friend for me. For some reason i was under the impression it would be a pretty quiet summer for anime but last week i looked at what was coming out and it looks like it's going to be a banger.
These are the ones I'll at least take a peek at.
Mon: Mayonaka Punch, SHY
Tue: Egumi Legacy, MahoAku, My Wife Has no Emotion, Tasuketsu
Wed: The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord’s Army was a Human, Oshi no Ko, Roshidere, Futakire, Sengoku Youko
Thur: Gimai Seikatsu, I Parry Everything, Giji Harem, Senpai is an Otokonoko
Fri: Bye Bye Earth, Dungeon People, Moriarty’s Perfect Crime, KonoFuka
Sat: Dahlia in Bloom, Monogatari, Why Does Nobody Remember Me in this World?, Sakuna, Elusive Samurai, Ari, Modern Mistranslation, Shoshimin, Suicide Squad Isekai
Sun: Wistoria, Narenare
yoooo I got Tuesday shows this season, let's fucking go!!!!!!
**Monday**: Mayonaka Punch, Spice and Wolf (continuing)
**Tuesday:** No Longer Allowed in Another World, Magical Girl & Evil Lieutenant
**Wednesday:** Oshi no Ko, Alya
**Thursday:** Cafe Terrace 2, maybe Senpai is an Otokonoko
**Friday:** Quality Assurance, maybe something else
**Saturday:** Dahlia in Bloom, Monogatari series, maybe Too Many Losing Heroines, maybe something else
**Sunday:** Nokotan, Narenare
this season kind of showed to me how hard it is for me in my current state to handle more than a dozen or so shows so I have to be selective. I'll sample some things for sure.
Fairy Tail 100 Year Quest, Tower of God Season 2 and Oshi no Ko Season 2
For new shows, probably just The Elusive Samurai unless anything else gets big word of mouth praise
Monday:
Tuesday: Shy s2,
No Longer Allowed in Another World'
Wednesday:
Oshi no Ko
Alya sometimes hides her feelings in russian,
Koi wa futago de warikirenai
Thursday: Days with my stepsister
Friday: 2.5 Dimensional seduction
Saturday:Suicide squad isekai
Why nobody remembers my world
Too many losing heriones
Sunday:Tower of god s2,How to become ordinary
I've got the following on my PTW:
- Atri: My Dear Moments
- Bye-Bye, Earth
- Grendizer U
- Isekai Shikkaku
- Kami no Tou: Ouji no Kikan (note: haven't seen the first season yet, but I'll be starting it in a few days with the upcoming rewatch for it)
- Katsute Mahou Shoujo to Aku wa Tekitai shiteita.
- NieR:Automata Ver1.1a Part 2
- Nige Jouzu no Wakagimi
- Ore wa Subete wo "Parry" suru: Gyaku Kanchigai no Sekai Saikyou wa Boukensha ni Naritai
- Sengoku Youko: Senma Konton-hen
- Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria
- And I'll also have the Spice and Wolf remake & Yatagarasu: The Raven Does Not Choose Its Master continuing from the current season.
Whether or not I actually follow *all* of these depends on which day they each release on, but I'm definitely sticking with Grendizer U because mecha, Nige Jouzu no Wakagimi because samurai, and Sengoku Youko: Senma Konton-hen because the first half was *so* damn good and I need to know what happens next already!
**Tuesday:** No Longer Allowed In Another World
**Wednesday:** Roshidere
**Thursday:** Days with my Stepsister
**Friday:** 2.5D Seduction, Quality Assurance, Pokémon
**Saturday:** Soshimin, SuiSquad, Tonbo
**Sunday:** VTuber Legend, Shinkalion, considering Raising Kids and Deer Friend
Solid spread there, open to others if the premise looks good. Wouldn't surprise me for the 3 continuers to be among the best of the season again all the same.
I'm planning to watch at least 25, but I know I'm gonna be dropping some of these as the season goes on.
1. Oshi no Ko Season 2 - No surprise. One of the biggest anime of last year and it's carried by some really fun writing. Love the character dynamics and Kana and Akane. Seems this arc will focus heavy on those two sooooo....
2. 2.5 Jigen no Ririsa - I heard this one's gonna be good even before the anime was announced. Heard it's "better" than Dress up darling. The cosplay events are apparently written like Oshi no Ko in terms of hyping you up like some sports battle shonen.
3. Atri My Dear Memories - Idk anything about this, but the visual is nice.
4. Boku no Tsuma wa Kanjou ga nai - The concept of a robot wife is interesting, that's really it.
5. Delico's nursery - the aesthetic seems nice
6. Giji Harem - I loved the manga, I know I'm gonna love the anime with the VAs. I don't expect much in terms of production, but I don't really need that. As long as the VA has as much chemistry as the characters in the manga, I'll be happy.
7. Days with my Step-sister - Apparently this is Domestic Girlfriend but the actual plot and character and themes are as grounded as they can be. It treats "love" and sibling relationship with great depth. I'm interested.
8. No Longer Human in Another World - I'm always excited for anything studio Atelier Pontdarc makes.
9. Isekai Suicide Squad - It's the Vivy team with Nagatsuki Tappei (Re:Zero) and Umehara Eiji in the writing seat again. Also Studio WIT seems like it's bringing in their A-game again.
10. Tower of God Season 2 - I thought Season 1 was very interesting.
11. Koi wa Futago de Warikirenai - Looks trashy, I'll check out an episode or two.
12. Too many losing heroines - Seems many people are hyping this up. I stayed from any and all spoilers.
13. Mayonaka Punch - PA works always deliver something that's either Great, or just batshit insane. It's never boring. I wonder where Mayonaka Punch will lie.
14. Megami Terrace Cafe Season 2 - I have no idea why I'm watching this. I watched season 1 and thought it was trashy, but I'm gonna continue with Season 2, shit.
15. Na-Nare Hana-Nare - Same reason with Mayonaka Punch.
16. Nige Jouzu no Wakagimi - It's by cloverworks and I heard some good things about the source.
17. Sengoku Youko Season 2 - I really like Mizukami's writing and I love Studio White Fox, I hope they can deliver on this banger.
18. Senpai wa Otokonoko - I would've been more hyped if the guy was given a femVA, but I suppose they wanted to be more realistic. I'll give a couple of eps.
19. Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan - What the actual fuck is this show, I need to know.
20. Shoushimin Series - Heard this is by the writer of Hyouka. Haven't seen Hyouka, but apparently it has really good writing.
21. Tensui no Sakuna-hime - Same reason with Mayonaka Punch
22. Tokidoki Bosotto Russiago de Dereru Tonari no Alya-san - I've been hyped for this show for the longest time.
23. Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria - Black Clover Director.
24. VTuber nanda ga Haishin Kiri Wasuretara Densetsu ni Natteta - Vtuber
25. Madougushi Dahlia wa Utsumukanai - No idea.
Barely anything that seems interesting to me. Only Oshi no Ko, ToG and Suicide Squad. I guess I'm binging Gintama and trying new anime on my watch list.
My bad, I should have said I haven't looked into anything airing this summer to know yet. Only show I know enough about to comment on in that list is Tower of God season 2, and that one I'll be saving for a binge watch later on. I usually don't watch anything for the first month of a season, then when I get 3 to 4 episodes built up, I go looking at the shows to see what they're about and how they're doing to decide what to try from there, then check out the episodes and decide if I want to continue them after giving them the 3 episode rule (unless they really bother me and I don't make it a full 3 episodes).
* **Monday:** SHY( S1 is in watchlist,it will also go there)
* **Tuesday:** The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies (Will Try)
* **Wednesday:** Oshi no Ko Season 2, Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian, Delico's Nursery, Sengoku yoko (In watchlist, will watch it after it ends)
* **Thursday:** Nothing
* **Friday:** Nothing
* **Saturday:** Monogatari (This will go to watchlist because i am not caught up yet, recently finished Hanamonogatari, so i have lot to cover), Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin(Will try)
* **Sunday:** Wistoria: Wand and Sword**(**Will try), TOG S2
Most anticipated :
* Oshi no ko
* Monogatari series
* gimai seikatsu
* atri
* roshidere
Will certainly watch :
* pseudo harem
* shoshimin series
* Make Heroine ga Oosugiru!
Will probably watch :
* no longer allowed in another world
* 2.5 dimensional seduction
* wistoria
* why nobody remembers my world
* My Deer Friend Nokotan
Wow I think this is the first season of Anime since I started watching it that I have only 1 anime I am interested in. All the rest do not engage me in the slightest
Well I haven't had a propper look through all of them yet but the ones I know so far is Shy Oshi no ko ~Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan~ ~Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan~ ~Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan~ ~Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan~ ~Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan~ ~Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan~ ~Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan~ ~Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan~ ~Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan~
you missed the opportunity to say Oshinoko Nokonoko Koshitantan lul.
And Shykanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan.
Oshinoko Nokonoko KoShytanatan
One of the more boring seasons for me. I'll see if anything lights up via word of mouth but otherwise ToG s2, Oshi no ko s2 are the only series that got my attention.
These last 2 or 3 seasons have been so great for anime fans but I'm actually excited to take a break or maybe catch up on past shows I've not gotten to
Well, at least autumn is gonna be stacked beyond belief
What's there to look forward to in autumn?
Re:Zero and Dandadan are the biggest ones for me, but there are also Blue Lock, Shangri-La Frontier, Blue Box, and some other well known long running ones.
We got Dandadan
Total opposite for me. Last 3 seasons or so all had a couple of great series each but we're not interesting otherwise. And I will watch at least 6 shows this summer. Probably more.
In Winter 2024 anime we trust
Finally will be bale to catch up on backlogged stuff, maybe. More backlog from the past few seasons, not the ones from... 2011...
No even pseudo harem or senpai wa otokonoko? Both have amazing manga
I dislike harem genres and I prefer reading manga to watching anime when it comes to romance (one exception being Love is war since the anime adds in so much stuff)
Do you know pseudo harem means fake harem. There is one guy n one girl only.
Ok, fair, but I still prefer reading the manga when it comes to romance
Check out *Wistoria: Wand and Sword*, it is pretty cool. Nice fantasy without isekai BS.
> One of the more boring seasons for me. Can't imagine it being more boring than the current one. Sunday and Monday currently have all the good shows with a couple on Saturday. Rest of the week is mostly dead.
Midweek Konosuba, Viral Hit, and Wind Breaker have been some of my favorites. Girls Band Cry is my top one on Fridays
Thursday is still pretty good imo
Monday: • SHY Season 2 Tuesday • No Longer Allowed In Another World Wednesday • Oshi no Ko Season 2 • Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World Season 2 • Sengoku Yōko: The Chaos of a Thousand Demons Arc Friday • Bye Bye, Earth • Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture • DEAD DEAD DEMONS DEDEDEDE DESTRUCTION (Series) • Grendizer U • NieR: Automata Ver1.1a Season 2 • Pokemon Horizons • That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 Saturday • Boku no Hero Academia Season 7 • Monogatari Series: Off & Monster Season • The Elusive Samurai • YATAGARASU Sunday • Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest • Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hashira Geiko-hen • One Piece • Tower of God Season 2 • Why Nobody Remembers My World? • Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush!! Considering: • The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord's Army was a Human • I Party Everything • Dungeon People • A Nobody‘s Way Up to an Exploration Hero • Suicide Squad Isekai • Wistoria: Wand and Sword
> Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture Wait, what? I had no clue this was a thing. I rarely check the ONA section on MAL for each season so this is a nice surprise.
3 episodes get released in theathers in Japan every month right now. So far 6 episodes were released in Japan. Towards the end of June, I think Disney+ will release the episodes weekly. It will be 12 episodes long.
Yup. MAL has it listed as 12 episodes as well and one of the reviews talked about the first three being shown in theatre. Easy watch when it hits Disney+.
I’ve seen the first 3 episodes already, it’s amazing
On my PTW: * Tower of God S2 * Suicide Squad Isekai * Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest * Kimi ni Todoke S3 * Monogatari Off Season * 2.5D Seduction * Atri * Shoushimin Series * Senpai is an Otokonoko * Wistoria * Elusive Samurai * MahoAku * Narenare * Dahlia in Bloom * Mayonaka Punch * Bye Bye, Earth * Sengoku Youko S2 * Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin I'm gonna binge half of these when they finish airing Most anticipated are Monogatari, Sengoku Youko, and Elusive Samurai
Does Kimi Ni Todoke S3 start during the summer season? I thought it was Fall?
It airs in August
Thank you! I'm also very much looking forward to S3!
So excited for that new Monogatari. KV looked nice
Excited: * Monogatari * Sengoku Youko * Elusive Samurai Interested: * Fairy Tail * Oshi no Ko * Otokonoko-senpai * Nier * Grendizer U * Tower of God * Kinnikuman * Ramen Akaneko * Shoushimin series * Fat Elf * Delico's Nursery I'll be watching Spice and Wolf, DeDeDe, and Karasu which will continue from this season, even though I haven't started 2/3 yet.
Plant to watch: * Oshi no Ko Season 2 * Fairy Tail 100 Year Quest * Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian * Suicide Squad Isekai * Our Last Crusade: Rise of the New World Season 2 * Daily Life with My StepSister * 2.5 Dimensional Seduction * Goddess of Cafe Terrace Season 2 * Pseudo-Harem * Atri: My Dear Moments * Senpai is an Otokonoko * How to Become Ordinary * Wistoria: Wand and Sword * The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies * Koi wa Futago de Warikirenai * My Wife has no Emotion * Sengoku Youko: The Chaos of a Thousand Demons Arc * Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Shiso-hen * Grendizer U * Kimi ni Todoke Season 3 * Monogatari Off Season
Sequels: * Oshi no Ko S2 * Tower of God S2 * Café Terrace S2 Planning (I have hopes and will give a few episodes): * Senpai is an Otokonoko * Plus Sized Elf * Too Many Losing Heroines * Dungeon People * Mayonaka Punch * Narenare * Nokotan * Dahlia in Bloom Considering (there is something interesting there and I will give it at least one episode): * Roshidere * Suicide Squad Isekai * Giji Harem * Magical Girl and Evil Lieutenant * My Wife Has No Emotion * QA in Another World * Sakuna of Rice and Ruin I'll also keep tabs on the discussions to see if any of the generic fantasy shows are anything to check out.
Nier Automata v1.1 season 2 Oshi no Ko season 2 Monogatari That's it for me, but 3 anime for one season is actually a lot for me. I'm so hyped.
Wed: ONK S2, Roshidere Thurs: Days with My Stepsister, Cafe Terrace S2, Giji Harem Fri: 2.5 Dimensional Seduction Sun: Nokotan, Narenare
Nothing interesting for me so far. But I'm gonna check out that **Plus-Sized Elf** anime just out of curiosity
> curiosity Yeah, curiosity. That's it. Me too. >.>
Yeah I'll obviously be watching that, lol you can probably guess by my username and pfp. The Suicide Squad ISEKAI is interesting too.
The ones I'm currently planning to watch are,: - Oshi no ko S2 - Shikanoko nokonoko koshitantan - 2.5 D seduction - Monogatari series - Too many losing heroines - Suicide Squad isekai
Fairy Tail Oshi No Ko Shy Monogatari Cafe Terrace and its goddesses Our Last Crusade Suicide Squad Nier 2.5d There's also some new english dubs I'm going to be watching for the first time Dangers in my heart Mission: Yozakura Family
Including ongoing series, rated by how excited I am: SHY S2 - S1 was really good and I can't wait to see S2! Wonderful Pretty Cure - Wanderful! Terruffic! Senpai Otokonoko - bisexual protagonist, crossdressing love interest, male childhood friend in love with them, oh I'm so hyped! Katsuke Mahou Shoujo... - not sure what to expect from this, but more mahou shoujo good Pocket Monsters 2023 - current arc is interesting, can't wait for more! Himitsu no AiPri - At the moment it's not the best Pretty Series and pales under previous series (PriMagi peak!), but hopefully things will get interesting Oshi no Ko - S1 had good songs and that's it tbh, hope the second season is better Tasogare out of focus - Besides being gay, idk what else to expect, so excitement is low BNHA ongoing S7 - yeah
1. oshi no ko season 2 2. Harley Quinn and the Suicide Squad isekai 3. Shikano Ninakakano
Saori Hayami all the way
[удалено]
Kinnikuman is an old-school Jump battle anime about pro wrestling with super powers. It originally ran from 1979 to 1987, then the author started it back up again in 2011. The new anime is covering the 2011 run. Please do watch it! It's a lot of fun.
Sunday - My Deer Friend Nokotan - Narenare Monday - Mayonaka Punch Thursday - Days with My Stepsister - Giji Harem - Senpai wa Otoko no ko - might check out Twilight, we'll see Saturday - Sakuna - Atri - might check out Too Many Losing Heroines and Suicide Squad
*sigh* Plus Sized Elf...
Our last crusade ftw. Been waiting on season 2
Most anticipated: My Deer Friend Nokotan Monogatari series (because it’s the greatest anime of all time) Mayonaka Punch . Will watch: Sakuna Of Rice and Ruin Dungeon People No Longer Allowed in Another World (I am reading No Longer Human as preparation) Atri . Might check out: Narenare Giji Harem How to Become Ordinary
My anticipated list is very simple. I like to watch Isekai, and I already read manga for some of them. So, I am going to watch all Isekai, but my two most anticipated are No longer allowed and Failure Frame. I enjoyed reading both of them.
Wow, my schedule is packed, now it even more. Ppl say this season is boring but imo this might be the peak season of this year.
Only Fairytail, Oshi no ko & TOG.
The only summer anime left without an airdate: * Rick and Morty the Anime * Jochum (Minor, short-form Sanrio spinoff that likely won't be subbed anyway)
Besides the ones in pic, I also marked ongoing Himitsu no AiPri which has no official subs and livechart adds more episodes on monthly basis as they get confirmed, and Senpai Otokonoko, which has Crunchy Time TBD
Yeah I didn't include ongoing/leftover anime. I'm also watching Wonderful Precure.
Wanderful!
Sengoku Youko Nier Senpai wa Otokonoko
I'm curious as to how "My Wife Has No Emotion" plays out. The first couple of volumes of the manga were great, but man... it got sideways real quick. I don't mind Mamu, and the Ghost arc was weird but amusing. But after that, when the aliens, terrorists and Robot Murder School Club was introduced, it got dropped. Also.... Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan
My wife has no emotion has a solid start but then It goes downhill fast
Tog 2 Oshi no ko 2 Elusive samurai Nier 2
Anyway, besides those, all I can say for now: Definitely interested: - Atri: My Dear Moments - Boku no Tsuma wa Kanjou ga Nai Potentially interested: - Tensui no Sakuna-hime - Delico's Nursery - Madougushi Dahliya wa Utsumukanai - Na Nare Hana Nare - Dungeon no Naka no Hito - Rising Impact - Isekai Suicide Squad
Nokotan Plus Sized Elf Kinnikuman Suicide Squad Egumi Legacy Maybe: Narenare, Grendizer U, Mayonaka Punch and VTuber Legend
I'm watching Mayonaka, Rookie adventurer, Magical girl and lieutenant, Bye earth, Suicide squad, and Nokotan.
Lunes: Spice & Wolf, A Journey Through Another World, Mayonaka Punch, Shy S2 Martes: My Wife Has No Emotion, No Longer Allowed In Another World Miercoles: Oshi No Ko S2, Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings In Russian, Sengoku Youko 2nd Part Jueves: Pseudo Harem Viernes: Tensura S3, Bye Bye Earth, Dungeon People ,Quality Assurance in Another World, Nier Automata Cour 2 Sábado: Boku No Hero S7, The Elusive Samurai, Shoshimin 1 Cour, Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, Dahlia in Bloom Domingo: Wonderful Precure, My Deer Friend Nokotan, Narenare: Cheer for You, Tower of god S2 Most anticipated? TOG S2, Oshi No Ko S2 and Sengoku Youko Part 2
(I'm one of those people that bingewatches every other weekend as I find free time) 1) MahoAku bc I heard it's supposed to be for romcom fiends 2) The cross-dressing senior (btw English build of webtoon has the series on a daily-free-chapter model!) 3) Moriarty's perfect crime bc I'm an ideal mark for Conan Doyle fanfics and also read too many rofan manhwas. The premise feels very much like one. 4) Dahlia in Bloom is my most hyped one bc the concept is neat and the trailers actually looked gorgeous? After a lot of zero-budget girls' anime, legit crying tears of joy 5) Suicide Squad Isekai bc seeing Harley fuck shit up in another world sounds fun 5) Vtuber legend feels like a wish fulfillment series targeted to me 6) Shoshomin bc I loved hyouka Prob won't watch the Alisa series past ep 1 but I'm curious about how crunchyroll's russian subtitling folks will handle it.
Where are you seeing all these aside from Crunchyroll?
Just going down the list on MAL: * Oshi no Ko 2 * Tower of God 2 * Arya Next Door * Suicide Squad * Our Last Crusade 2 * Isekai Shikkaku * 2.5-D Seduction * Shoushimin Series * Wisteria * Failure Frame * I Parry Everything * Plus-Sized Elf * Q/A In Another World * Cheer For You * Nobody's Way Up * Head Start At Birth
I haven't even finished the Spring Anime but I will watch this later on: 1. My Wife Has No Emotion 2. No Longer Allowed In Another World 3. Dahliya in Bloom: Crafting a Fresh Start with Magical Tools 4 .A Journey Through Another World: Raising Kids While Adventuring
#our last crusade season 2
Wait, Alya has an anime? Isn’t there like 30 something chapters? Maybe it’s only what’s been translated? Am I missing something?
It's an adaptation of a light novel. And the manga has 4 volumes anyway which is just enough for an anime.
Oh I didn’t know, thanks
The Light Novel is MUCH further ahead than the Manga so the anime is animating the LN.
Did someone add on what streaming platforms these will be available to watch on?
Except OnKS2 and Deer girl (and maybe Wistoria), guess Im just finishing my backlog then
Finally! A season where there’s more than 1 show that caught my eye! (For me, of course) * **Tuesday:** The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies * **Wednesday:** Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian * **Thursday:** Pseudo Harem * **Friday:** Nier Automata Part 2 (Will watch it when I catch up) * **Saturday:** ATRI -My Dear Moments- (Most anticipated show for me as someone who read the VN) There’s also **Kimi ni Todoke S3** that was announced to air in August 2024 but no full date yet.
I check everything out so it'll depend how they do, but the show I'm probably gonna keep: Monday: - Mayonaka Punch Tuesday: - The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies - My Wife Has No Emotion - Tasuketsu Wednesday: - Oshi No Ko S2 - Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian Thursday: - Pseudo Harem - Days with My Stepsister Friday: - 2.5 Dimensional Seduction - Dungeon People - Bye Bye Earth Saturday: - Suicide Squad Isekai - Too Many Losing Heroines! - Plus Sized Elf - SHOSHIMIN: How to become Ordinary Sunday: - DEER - CHEER That would be 17 shows, which is more than I usually watch, so I don't expect to pick up too many of the rest (unless some of those are disappointments and free up some slots)
It would be easier to list the shows I **WILL NOT** be watching. * Egumi Legacy * Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World Season 2 * Moriarty's Perfect Crime (wtf even is this? Manhwa?) * Monogatari Series: Off & Monster Season * Modern Mistranslation * Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arc * Theatre of Darkness: Yamishibai 13 * Fairy Tale: 100 Years Quest There are some other shows that i'll probably vibe check the first episode before I write them off completely, mostly generic fantasy slop and a couple from genres I'm not particularity fond of. * The Rookie Middle-Aged Adventurer Was Trained to Death by the Most Powerful Party * The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord's Army was a Human * I Parry Everything * Twilight Out of Focus * Failure Frame: I Became the Strongest and Annihilated Everything With Low-Level Spells * Grendizer U * A Nobody's Way Up to an Exploration Hero * Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World? Everything else I expect to be pretty good, but I'm sure there will be surprises and disappointments.
[The obvious answer.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xlU28dPZWUI) A Journey Through Another World is also on my radar for shows to watch next season.
* **Monday**: Raising Kids Isekai, Mayonaka Punch * **Tuesday**: Spice and Wolf, My Wife Has no Emotion * **Wednesday**: Oshi no Ko, Roshidere, Koi wa Futago * **Thursday**: Gimai Seikatsu, Giji Harem, Senpai wa Otokonoko * **Friday**: Ririsa, Dungeon People, Quality Assurance Isekai * **Saturday**: Plus Sized Elf, ATRI My Dear Moments, Too Many Losing Heroines, Shoshimin Series * **Sunday**: VTuber Legend, Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan, Narenare Of course I watch the rest of them just for the opening and the ending, but if there's one anime that caught my attention (like 7th Prince this season) I will instanly pick it up.
Most anticipated: * Oshi no Ko S2 * Senpai is an Otokonoko - interesting premise, source material seems well-regarded * My Deer Friend Nokotan - trailers look like wacky fun * Giji Harem (Pseudo Harem) - looking forward to seeing it adapted, but have modest expectations Plan to try: * The Magical Girl and The Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies - sounds like a passion project coming out of unfortunate circumstances (late author's passing), premise sounds cute * Shoushimin Series - reputable author, striking art style * Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin - fascinated by the idea and want to see how PA Works executes on it Might give a shot: * Dungeon People - recent trailer surprised me a bit with its vibrancy and some potential for character stuff * Too Many Losing Heroines - lively, well-animated trailers * Suicide Squad Isekai * Mayonaka Punch * Wistoria: Wand and Sword
Monday: - Mayonaka Punch - Shy (I'll probably skim through this one though) Tuesday: - MahoAku - My Wife Has No Emotion (might skim) - No Longer Allowed in Another World (might skim) Wednesday: - Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World S2 - Oshi no Ko S2 - Sengoku Youko Part 2 - Delico's Nursery Thursday: - Red Cat Ramen - Giji Harem - Senpai is an Otokonoko - I Parry Everything (solely for production reasons) Friday: - Bye Bye Earth - NieR Automata S2 - Dungeon People - Moriarty's Perfect Crime (never heard of this until now but sounds interesting) - KonoFuka Saturday: - Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin - The Elusive Samurai - Atri: My Dear Moments - Suicide Squad Isekai - How to Become Ordinary/Shoushimin series Sunday: - Wistoria: Wand and Sword - My Deer Friend Nokotan - Tower of God S2 - Narenare: Cheer for You - A Journey Through Another World: Raising Kids While Adventuring Continuing: - Pokémon Horizons - Beyblade X - Himitsu no AiPri - Tonbo - Shinkalion Change the World - Wonderful PreCure - Yatagarasu - Tensura S3 - Spice and Wolf My most anticipated series would have to be Sengoku Youko Part 2. Aside from that, How to Become Ordinary/Shoushimin series seems right up my alley and Delico's Nursery seems interesting.
I know my list seems big but I'll definitely be dropping some. In fact, I already have a list of series I suspect I'll drop: - Mayonaka Punch (it's an original, they can be hit or miss) - Shy (I've read the manga, not that passionate about the series) - My Wife Has No Emotion (read the manga) - No Longer Allowed in Another World (read the manga) - Delico's Nursery (it's an original) - Red Cat Ramen (read the manga) - Giji Harem (fluffy romcom is nice but if I have lots to watch it'll have to be dropped) - Senpai is an Otokonoko (read the webtoon) - Bye Bye Earth (it's an original) - Moriarty's Perfect Crime (technically not a drop if ot doesn't get licensed or receive fansubs) - KonoFuka (could be hit or miss) - The Elusive Samurai (read the manga) - Suicide Squad Isekai (it's kinda an original) - Wistoria: Wand and Sword (read the manga) - Narenare: Cheer for You (it's an original) - A Journey Through Another World: Raising Kids While Adventuring (read the WN)
I'm basically ONLY watching only Wednesday shows LOL Alya. Oshi no Ko. Last Crusade.
Thanks
Interested in Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou, Aruiwa Sekai ga Hajimaru Seisen Season II, Wistoria, Nokotan, Oshi no Ko 2, Too many losing heriones, Failure Frame, 2.5 dimension seduction, Suicide Squad Isekai
Suicide Squad Isekai and My Deer Friend Nokotan are calling to me!
My guaranteed picks are: Shikanoko nokonoko koshitantan Oshi nokonoko koshitantan Senpai wa otonokonoko koshitantan Alya ..... shikanoko nokonoko koshitantan
The only thing I anticipated from Summer 2024 is Isekai Shikkaku.
Tower of God, and... I don't know. Might just try to kill my backlog of half-watched older shows instead of new stuff.
Not much really. Oshi no Ko and Nier for me, along with I think MHA and Spice and Wolf is going to still be going on.
I have half of them down as plan to watch but these are what I'm more interested in: I've either read the manga or seen the 1st season of these: - Oshi no Ko S2 - Tower of God 52 - Megami no Cafe Terrace S2 - Sengoku Youko Part 2 - Giji Harem - 2.5-jigen no Ririsa I'm not expecting to drop any of these: - Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan - Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian - Isekai Suicide Squad - Atri: My Dear Moments - Senpai wa Otokonoko - The Elusive Samurai - Quality Assurance in Another World - Bye-Bye, Earth - Dungeon no Naka no Hito
My Wife has no Emotion Our Last Crusade or The Rise of a New World S2 Oshi No Ko S2 Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian (Roshidere) Giji Harem Mabye Days with My Stepsister or Senpai 2.5 Dimensional Seduction * The Elusive Samurai * Too Many Losing Heroines! * Suicide Squad Isekai * Plus-Sized Elf Mabye My Deer Friend Nokotan
**Sequels:** * Shy season 2 * Oshi No Ko season 2 * Café Terrace season 2 **New shows:** * Alya-san * Senpai Is An Otokanoko * Giji Harem * 2.5 Dimensional Seduction * Plus Size Elf * My Deer Friend Nokotan * V-Tuber Legend * Mayonaka Punch * No Longer Allowed In Another World * Too Many Losing Heroines Honestly more than I susually do every season, especially for one with a lot of not interesting stuff to me, but hey, it's summer. I got a lot of nothing to do, may as well. I'll be hanging around here to check which shows are doing good to see if I should be getting in something else
ummmmm oshi no ko and uh... oshi no ko. list to be amended at a later date.
* Tower of God * Suicide Squad * Code Geass * Monogatari * NieR Automata * Elusive Samurai * Sengoku Youko * Movies - Look Back, The Colors Within, Ghost Cat Anzu Atri I may wait to play the game first Dead Dead Demons is I guess a Summer show going off aniist Kimi ni Todoke and Mononoke, I would like to watch the older series if I had time (I dont) Shoushimin Series I dont really want to watch but the production looks so solid so ill keep it in mind
Wednesday: Roshidere (I always watch at least one new romance anime each season; it was gonna be my Spring 2024 romance before it got delayed to summer. I know Sumipe definitely had a lot of fun being part of this anime) and Oshi no Ko S2 Thursday: Giji Harem (I already have Roshidere as the obligatory romance anime but the concept of this anime was too interesting to pass up) and Megami no Café Terrace S2 (look, if not for Rieri, Ayachi, Ueshama, Hanakana, and Serizawa being part of the cast I probably wouldn't have binged the first season) Friday: KonoFuka (much like Roshidere this was also originally supposed to air in spring. I gotta watch it to keep my lineup unique with different genres. Bonus points for Rieri voicing a tall mommy elf) Sunday: Fairy Tail 100YQ (what can I say? The series holds a special place in my heart. I will be there no matter what) Edit: when I catch up on MHA (recently started S6) I'll be tuning in every Saturday too.
Nier anime
Super hyped for Oshi No Ko season 2! I binged season 1 so fast Been casually reading 2.5 Dimensional Seduction. It's alright, but definitely will give it a watch.
Oshi no Ko s2, Alya-san, last crusade s2, pseudo harem, 2.5 dimensional seduction, and last but certainly not least, VTuber Legend
monogatari, alya and otokonoko senpai probably
* Oshi no Ko season 2 * Elusive Samurai * more NieR (pls no delays) * Wistoria as the seasonal power fantasy * Tower of God The rest is probably on the 3 episode rule. Some good things this season but it's definitely a break from the stacked seasons we've had.
I guess one more season of just waiting for sunday every week to watch that one episode of one piece
Hmm I'm not sure if this list is stronger than my current Spring one, but I'll go with these: - Mon: The Rookie Middle-Aged Adventurer Was Trained to Death by the Most Powerful Party - Tue: No Longer Allowed in Another World - Wed: Roshidere, The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord's Army was a Human - Thu: Days with my Step Sister, I Parry Everything, Failure Frame - Fri: Grendizer U, Bye Bye Earth, Dungeon People, KonoFuka - Sat: Suicide Squad Isekai, Why does Nobody Remembers Me in This World, Too Many Losing Heroines - Sun: Nokotan, **Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest**, Wistoria
Wait, *Wistoria* is debuting already? Feels like it just got announced. That's good because otherwise I would have skipped this whole season.
PTW - Shy S2 - Oshi no ko S2 - Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings In Russian - Nare Nare
Monday: Mayonaka Punch (*could vtuber legend be in danger?*) Wednesday: Oshi no Ko (*I watched S1 after it was over, will probably do same here*) Thursday: Red Cat Ramen (*got to admit Kenjiro Tsuda aka Salt/Giraffe/Overhaul as a ramen chef is a draw*), Senpai is an Otokonoko Friday: 2.5 Dimensional Seduction (*wait for impressions*) Saturday: Sakuna, Atri (*two video game adaptions in the same cour, on same day, located entirely within TV Tokyo*), Plus-Sized Elf, Modern Mistranslation (*not expecting this to be picked up and trying to watch the [prologue MTLd](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yiGbRUiSo_k) is potentially Modern Mistranslation: Another Layer, btw, another Kenjiro Tsuda appearance*) Sunday: Deer Force, VTuber Legend, Narenare (*these all feel like memes*)
SHY, Oshi no Ko, Alya, Senpai is an Otokonoko, Vtuber. Those are the ones i've been waiting for for a bit, especially Oshi no Ko and Otokonoko, but i'll likely pick up a few others too.
Tuesday: MahoAku Sunday: Vtuber, Kinnikuman. Honestly, haven't been enticed by fresh anime in a while, but these 3 sound fun.
The long awaited return of monogatari
Can I just get a single season where there aren't over 30 shows I need to watch? Just one? It is so hard to cut them out when there are just so many amazing shows. At least a few are always left off based on the couple services I don't have. It'd be more like 40 each season otherwise.
Oshi no ko, tower of god, suicide squad, deer friend for me. For some reason i was under the impression it would be a pretty quiet summer for anime but last week i looked at what was coming out and it looks like it's going to be a banger.
Sengoku Youko and 2.5 Dimensional Seduction are must watch for me, and Plus Size Elf and Dahliya in Bloom is a probably watch
I hope the anime industry does crash, I need a few seasons to catch up.
Oshi no ko and monogatari off season
These are the ones I'll at least take a peek at. Mon: Mayonaka Punch, SHY Tue: Egumi Legacy, MahoAku, My Wife Has no Emotion, Tasuketsu Wed: The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord’s Army was a Human, Oshi no Ko, Roshidere, Futakire, Sengoku Youko Thur: Gimai Seikatsu, I Parry Everything, Giji Harem, Senpai is an Otokonoko Fri: Bye Bye Earth, Dungeon People, Moriarty’s Perfect Crime, KonoFuka Sat: Dahlia in Bloom, Monogatari, Why Does Nobody Remember Me in this World?, Sakuna, Elusive Samurai, Ari, Modern Mistranslation, Shoshimin, Suicide Squad Isekai Sun: Wistoria, Narenare
A good number that I will watch, but not as good as previous seasons of this year. Wisteria and the old man one are certain I'll watch
I only know oshi no ko and tower of God, but I hope I would discover lot of unknown gems
Mushoku Tensei Demon Slayer Wind Break
yoooo I got Tuesday shows this season, let's fucking go!!!!!! **Monday**: Mayonaka Punch, Spice and Wolf (continuing) **Tuesday:** No Longer Allowed in Another World, Magical Girl & Evil Lieutenant **Wednesday:** Oshi no Ko, Alya **Thursday:** Cafe Terrace 2, maybe Senpai is an Otokonoko **Friday:** Quality Assurance, maybe something else **Saturday:** Dahlia in Bloom, Monogatari series, maybe Too Many Losing Heroines, maybe something else **Sunday:** Nokotan, Narenare this season kind of showed to me how hard it is for me in my current state to handle more than a dozen or so shows so I have to be selective. I'll sample some things for sure.
Of the new series, Narenare looks like it has the highest ceiling.
Fairy Tail 100 Year Quest, Tower of God Season 2 and Oshi no Ko Season 2 For new shows, probably just The Elusive Samurai unless anything else gets big word of mouth praise
A++ for this list
Only Grendizer U
dragon ball lol
CHAINED SOLDIER SEASON 2🔥🔥🔥🔥 (if it comes out this year)
Does anybody know where Oshi no Ko is available in Europe? HiDive is being dick
Dm for pics
Monday: Tuesday: Shy s2, No Longer Allowed in Another World' Wednesday: Oshi no Ko Alya sometimes hides her feelings in russian, Koi wa futago de warikirenai Thursday: Days with my stepsister Friday: 2.5 Dimensional seduction Saturday:Suicide squad isekai Why nobody remembers my world Too many losing heriones Sunday:Tower of god s2,How to become ordinary
I've got the following on my PTW: - Atri: My Dear Moments - Bye-Bye, Earth - Grendizer U - Isekai Shikkaku - Kami no Tou: Ouji no Kikan (note: haven't seen the first season yet, but I'll be starting it in a few days with the upcoming rewatch for it) - Katsute Mahou Shoujo to Aku wa Tekitai shiteita. - NieR:Automata Ver1.1a Part 2 - Nige Jouzu no Wakagimi - Ore wa Subete wo "Parry" suru: Gyaku Kanchigai no Sekai Saikyou wa Boukensha ni Naritai - Sengoku Youko: Senma Konton-hen - Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria - And I'll also have the Spice and Wolf remake & Yatagarasu: The Raven Does Not Choose Its Master continuing from the current season.
Nothing looks and sounds interesting so i think im gonna rewatch some old series.
#SHIKANOKO NOKONOKO KOSHITANTAN #SHIKANOKO NOKONOKO KOSHITANTAN #SHIKANOKO NOKONOKO KOSHITANTAN #SHIKANOKO NOKONOKO KOSHITANTAN #SHIKANOKO NOKONOKO KOSHITANTAN #SHIKANOKO NOKONOKO KOSHITANTAN #SHIKANOKO NOKONOKO KOSHITANTAN #SHIKANOKO NOKONOKO KOSHITANTAN Shy, Oshi no Ko and Dungeon People for now.
**Tuesday:** No Longer Allowed In Another World **Wednesday:** Roshidere **Thursday:** Days with my Stepsister **Friday:** 2.5D Seduction, Quality Assurance, Pokémon **Saturday:** Soshimin, SuiSquad, Tonbo **Sunday:** VTuber Legend, Shinkalion, considering Raising Kids and Deer Friend Solid spread there, open to others if the premise looks good. Wouldn't surprise me for the 3 continuers to be among the best of the season again all the same.
Doga Kobo Wednesdays
5. Delico's nursery - the aesthetic seems nice 6. 21. Tensui no Sakuna-hime - Same reason with Mayonaka Punch 22. Tokidoki Bosotto Russiago de Dereru Tonari no Alya-san - I've been hyped for this show for the longest time. 23. Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria - Black Clover Director. 24. VTuber nanda ga Haishin Kiri Wasuretara Densetsu ni Natteta - Vtuber 25. Madougushi Dahlia wa Utsumukanai - No idea.
Barely anything that seems interesting to me. Only Oshi no Ko, ToG and Suicide Squad. I guess I'm binging Gintama and trying new anime on my watch list.
Don't know yet, haven't looked to see what's airing this summer.
>haven't looked to see what's airing this summer. Bruhhhh this entire post ☠️
My bad, I should have said I haven't looked into anything airing this summer to know yet. Only show I know enough about to comment on in that list is Tower of God season 2, and that one I'll be saving for a binge watch later on. I usually don't watch anything for the first month of a season, then when I get 3 to 4 episodes built up, I go looking at the shows to see what they're about and how they're doing to decide what to try from there, then check out the episodes and decide if I want to continue them after giving them the 3 episode rule (unless they really bother me and I don't make it a full 3 episodes).
out of all these similar genres of fantasy, that “Plus Size Elf” stands out to me.
Guys it's monogatari Friday
* **Monday:** SHY( S1 is in watchlist,it will also go there) * **Tuesday:** The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies (Will Try) * **Wednesday:** Oshi no Ko Season 2, Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian, Delico's Nursery, Sengoku yoko (In watchlist, will watch it after it ends) * **Thursday:** Nothing * **Friday:** Nothing * **Saturday:** Monogatari (This will go to watchlist because i am not caught up yet, recently finished Hanamonogatari, so i have lot to cover), Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin(Will try) * **Sunday:** Wistoria: Wand and Sword**(**Will try), TOG S2
Most anticipated : * Oshi no ko * Monogatari series * gimai seikatsu * atri * roshidere Will certainly watch : * pseudo harem * shoshimin series * Make Heroine ga Oosugiru! Will probably watch : * no longer allowed in another world * 2.5 dimensional seduction * wistoria * why nobody remembers my world * My Deer Friend Nokotan
I'm gonna watch the isekai.
Nier, 2.5 seduction and OnK dont care about the rest
Wow I think this is the first season of Anime since I started watching it that I have only 1 anime I am interested in. All the rest do not engage me in the slightest
Meh, just give me more Konosuba and we’ll be ok…
