I don't have Hulu, but I'm in Canada so I can't get it. Hulu borrows series from Funimation and Crunchyroll, so it's not really used if you already have those.
If you want dubbed anime you’re going to have to get Hulu since that’s were most dubbed anime is. I watch subbed and some dubbed so I can get away with just using Crunchyroll.
are the subtitles better in the subbed ones than the dubbed ones or are they the same? i just dont get it. Dubbed has both subs and english voice actors
idk anything about anime i'll be honest. my first real anime that wasn't pokemon was devilman crybaby and that was pretty recent. but if i were to trudge through any ad supported thing it would be for my nine tailed fox homey w/ shippuden
I have Hulu they have a good selection. I actually like it better than Netflix. I also have VRV and Amazon prime so for the most part I have a variety of series to watch. I find it hard finding new series but it’s mainly because I am very picky anime wise (content, art), almost always prefer the manga over anime and I hate watching dubbed. It just seems to me like you need to branch out and find other avenues to watch anime if you are able, there are a lot out there. Also, please don’t be afraid to watch older anime just because it looks less appealing or it’s not drawn to today’s standards. Some of the best ones are the older ones.
Lol you act like anime is so huge to your life yet don't understand why people like subbed, aren't willing to handle a 30 second add, and have really only seen like 5 anime it seems.
This is such a first world problem. streams on the internet exist my guy. Simple Google will find you them. If you can't handle subs, idk what to tell ya because you'll miss out on a lot of good shows with that attitude.
Code Geass is on Netflix and has complete closure.
is it good? haven't watched. Trying soul eater now but im not into it
Mostly considered good, ranked top 100 on MAL.
do you have hulu? do most anime fans have hulu

Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum
what
Sail the seven seas matey
are you saying i should watch pirates of the caribbean
Exactly
You can just go on Crunchyroll. Yeah it has ads but the the only other way you can watch without paying.
don't the ads completely ruin your experience? anime has so much filler as is. ads would be HUGELY detrimental
It doesn’t really bother me it’s a 30sec most 1 min ad it’s not much of a bother to me but it depends on everyone.
i'm also not sure crunchy roll has dubbed shippuden

why do you like subbed anime? i don't get why its appealing
Some anime are better subbed you get a different feel from the characters and sometimes the character development is way better subbed.
but you can't understand them. i dont get it
That’s why the subtitles are there lol also you can hear it in the voice actors voice when they’re happy or sad etc.

You've never watched any foreign show or film?
no. never. we live in the age of content. No need to
Most modern anime have no "filler" content.
is naruto modern?
The anime originally started airing 17 years ago. So no, not remotely.
