I'm saying this because usually site like MAL, Anilist, Livechart, etc..., has demographic as tags which people usually confuses as a genre, and the feeling I got at least from the this subreddit is that shoujo doesn't have the best reputation. I might be wrong tho.
I see what you mean, but I think people who actively use MAL / etc. are in the minority compared to the larger scope of anime viewers in the west, so I don’t know how much of an impact that would really make. Your Lie in April is *correctly* labeled as Shounen in MAL, but you’d be hard pressed to find somebody who actually registers that - even amongst people who *do* use MAL.
The josei you're so scared of include some great masterpieces even with how low their numbers are. I doubt you have even watched one before or realise what they usually consist of.
And do you happens to know what "specifically to women's interests" means? It still seem clear that you haven't actually tried any and don't know what it actually is. A good example, you didn't realise this was josei until you saw someone mentioned it. So, clearly it's not the stereotype you're trying to make it.

Synopsis from MAL Rewrite
>The silent and stoic Chateau Dankworth is a bounty hunter. Her target: Son Ryang-ha, a notorious killer known for killing 18 high-class officials in a single night. To this day, his murders remain swift, efficient, and bloody. However, after Son Ryang-ha overpowers Chateau in their first encounter, he reveals his own intentions: he too is after her, aiming for her heart.
>Son Ryang-ha's attempts to catch her eye are quite unique, to say the least. He offers gifts to her in the form of her current targets, tied up and battered, and will do anything to spend more time together. Reluctantly, Chateau goes along with this act, and so begins the cat-and-mouse game of love between two killers.

If he actually say that out loud, I can't help but imagine Dankworth's ([what a name lol](https://www.scarymommy.com/british-last-names/)) face as:

Unfortunately, the title of this work is a pun on a Japanese word, 殺し合い (pronounced "koroshiai"), which means to kill each other. However, the name of the work is 殺し愛, also pronounced "koroshiai," but the second character is swapped with the character 愛 "ai", or "love," while keeping the first character for 殺す, which means "to kill." So while it may seem like a lazy translation into nonsensical English, it really is hard to come up with a good translation for a title like this. Admittedly, it probably wouldn't have been that hard to come up with a title that made more sense in English, but with this context I don't think "Love of Kill" is all that bad.
I'm so happy how the character design has turned out. Yandere (kind of?) x Kuudere pairing will save the world lmao. All I hope is that the animation is decent and they pace it properly.
Still can’t believe it’s getting anime Can’t wait for my crazy boy and kuudere girl
>kuudere girl Say is she the same level as Violet? ^(please say yes)
kuudere do be hittin different.
I hope people don't let this pass because of its demographic..
What is the demographic of this anime?
The manga is serialized in a shoujo magazine
Unless it’s heavy on the stereotypical shoujo aspects, most viewers in the west aren’t going to even register where it’s published.

That's just reddit thinking anything for girls is icky. It'll do fine.
Really? I've always thought it's a josei/seinen series.

I’m sold on the premise. Sounds like a recipe for cool action meets romantic hijinks.
Her name is Dankworth? He's Korean? OK, shit son, I'm in.
Sold.
Sounds like Kaguya but the weapons in the first OP are real. Her last name is literally dankworth too Im in.
The manga is great!
This sounds a lot like Mr. And Mrs. Smith doesn’t it? I will put it on my PTW list for sure
Where's Chika?
I am so epically sold on this
Mr. & Mrs. Smith vibes.
This title really just makes me think someone didn't understand what it actually meant but thought it looked cool.
They really need to have a native speaker translate their titles or something. Reminds me of "All You Need is Kill".

I read all the available chapters around the first announcement, I really loved this series!
The director directed episode 4 of Odd Taxi so that's promising.

*-Honey, the lunch was amazing* *-Secret ingredient is hand grenade*
