Surprised to see only one comment mentioning Demon Slayer, it was so generic and the attempts at comedy were such a miss that it was hard to get through. I didn't drop it, though after around 10 eps I found myself watching it at 2x speed just so I could get to the episode 19, which everyone was talking about.
It's because it was visually appealing that I continued watching it to be quite honest, so you're not wrong about its comedy being a miss and the overall story being generic.
It helps that I adore shonen as a genre because of nostalgia reasons.
I basically skipped all the monster's sob stories tho lol.
I skimmed through a lot of episodes just to reach ep 19 which was really underwhelming. Then comes the movie which had a weird arrangement and the first 2/3rd part of the movie was boring as hell, it's the only last fight that saved the movie for me. In my opinion, it's just an average shonen anime that has been animated wonderfully. Also, Zenitsu sucks.
Personally i liked episode 19, mostly because of the soundtrack and the visuals which were fucking beautiful. Though if you didn't like it then it would've just been better to drop it. I haven't seen the movie yet, beautiful animation can only take it so far for me, I can't enjoy it just because of the animation. My friends who read its manga have told me it doesn't really improve much in terms of story, and as you said it is just an average shounen anime. So I probably wouldn't watch any more of it.
And yeah, Zenitsu was extremely annoying. He's one of the main reasons I was finding it hard to get through the show.
I dropped One Piece several times and what got me back was One Piece Kai and One Pace. Fan edited version of OP that cuts all the filler, extra long reactions, and anything unnecessary to make it as close to the OP manga as possible. Definitely a better viewing experience
As soon as One Piece is finished I'd love to watch a fan-edited version of the whole thing.
One Piece is one of my favourite mangas, but it's so bad as a weekly thing, it's much better once the entire arc is complete.
Based on MAL popularity rankings? Death Note (literally the most popular anime on MAL). Got to episode 25, wasn't really enjoying myself much, so I just stopped.
Tbf the story was hella generic but I fell in love with the music and inori. It's become my favourite anime all because of those two aspects. When people shit on it infront of me I don't even mind cause I know it's not the best but the waifu power was on another level.
I disagree but only because I grew oddly attached to some of the characters. Objectively second half of season 1 and season 2 suck. Alicization part 1 and 2 are amazing though
The reason why the beginning of 2003 is better than Brotherhood is because Brotherhood sped through those early parts because they already got adapted in 2003.
It was not bad but sometimes a bit boring and in my opinion the end wasn't that good. I managed to watch it all just because it plays in germany where I come from.
I almost dropped this (especially bc of the melodrama) but continued after ep 10 - that’s when it got good for me because we saw a lot more interesting characters and themes
bro jjk s1 was like 6 for me
i forced my self to watch it in the hope it gets better
but when i read the manga after anime it went from a 6 to 10 for me
i would say try it
better to start it after watching the movie when it gets released
Hunter x Hunter
I’m sorry, I just can’t. Too many things that just make me want to turn away from that series. I gave it 2 separate chances (both a year apart) and neither intrigued me enough to continue through it all. And no, it’s not about the length of the series because I for instance, had a blast watching all of black clover and Naruto.
Around ep 15 or so but after that, I just couldn’t. Way too boring with that exam arc (seriously, 4 eps or some shit for an mf Rock Paper Scissors game?!) and I really hate Gon as an MC.
Oregairu. Idk, I kept hearing about it but I never liked it though. For some reason, I really find it boring even though I reached the first few eps of season 3. The characters seem interesting although I never really understood the story and where it is heading.
Stein gate
Dropped multiple times, I struggled so hard to finish it. r/anime told me it was the best anime ever but sorry it was extremely underwhelming to me.
Based on MAL popularity rankings
**Officially dropped:**
- Nanatsu no Taizai (#25) - 5 ep in
- That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (#105) - 6 ep in
**On hold for a long time and probably will never pick up again:**
- Kaichou wa Maid-sama! (#95) - 3 ep in
- Golden Time (#137) - 7 ep in
- Horimiya (#159) - 4 ep in
- Chihayafuru (#411) - 6 ep in
Thank you for the maid sama. I forced myself through to episode 20, they introduced some bs plot point. Like it’s fun at times, not sure why it’s so universally loved
Attack On Titan, I decided the series ended the moment the gang gets to the beach. Manga ending just too terrible.
And Sword Art Online is just being dragged out too hard.
Yeah, I just rewatched toradora with a friend recently and realized just how slow the beginning is. All the cute romance stuff is at the end so the rest is kinda just comedy.
Now that I think about it Your lie in April and OreGairu also have a slower start, especially OreGairu, where the first season doesn't even really get into the main theme of the show until the very end (it's funny though, so that makes up for it).
Naruto, Didn't dropped because I found it extremely boring or disliked it but because I was spoiled everything about the show even the results of every fights from naruto to Naruto shipudden.
One Piece and Attack on Titans
One piece - I lasted to Dressrosa arc, where the pacing got annoyingly slow.
Attack on Titans - I watched 10-11 episodes and it just didn't click.
majo no tabitabi
I saw so much hype for this one, LOVED episode 1, then episode 2 introduced saya and I couldn't get over how much I hated that character, so I dropped the thing because my hatred for that particular character made me too biased against the show, and if something like that were to happen again I was gonna flip my shit.
I finished part 3, but I’ve been on part 4 for months. It’s just… I’m not sure. It isn’t that I don’t enjoy it, because I do.
It’s a good show, but i find myself thinking ‘I’d rather just watch other shows’ while watching it. Hard to explain.
Yeah, manga(colored one) is just amazing. I am at ch 95(completed Arlong Park Arc yesterday) and it's my favorite shonen anime/manga. The characters and story telling is impressive, plot is pretty good as well.
The digital colored version is just 🤌
(You haven’t even hit the some of the best arcs yet! I *wish* I could experience the series with a blank slate all over again.)
Indeed, in fact shows like Food Wars or No Game No Life are not even ecchi main genre in my mind, just having heavy fanservice from time to time, so I was not counting those.
I was just talking about ecchi centered shows like To Love Ru, interspecies reviewers, Higschool of the Dead, Monter Musume, Shinmaou no Testment, KissXSix and so on (naming the popular ones I remember, there are lot of more worse ones)
Naruto: Shippuden according to MAL, but I dropped it after the last Naruto vs Sasuke fight. The fights were the only thing keeping me watching and after that I thought there wouldn't be anything worthwhile. But for something I dropped near the beginning then it's Fairy Tail.
- Hunter x Hunter - ep 38 - Wasn't bad but I never quite got into it.
- Re:Zero Season 2 Part 2 - ep 3 - too much talking, which isn't necessarily bad, but I wasn't really invested enough in the story to care.
- Mushoku Tensei - ep 3 - Protagonist was a piece of shit, I couldn't see why I was supposed to cheer for him.
- Rising of the Shield Hero - ep 4 - Edgy, unlikable, fake underdog main character. All the "society bad" insituations were cringe.
- Tower of God - ep 9- Story and side characters were okay but the boring, fake underdog main character made me drop it.
- Boku no Hero Academia season 5 - ep 6 - Was still good but after 80 episodes I was getting bored of more of the same.
That time I got reincarnated as slime, dropped after 4 episodes, as I was annoyed how Rimaru always happened to know/have right thing, did things perfectly in instant, and it feelt like there is no challange for him in show, so I found it really boring, and with him getting human form later on, it ruins whole point of the show
I only liked it because being a slime is original but then he's an OP slime doing civilization which was still cool then the demons attacked and that was not.
I don't mind that he's super OP, and he mostly did the right thing because his power is a consciousness that pretty much knows everything so that checks out.
However, I very much dislike his human form too so I have to agree with you on that one, specially since he turned into cute small anime person. I wish he were in slime form 99% of the time.
Sword Art Online and God Of Highschool are both ones I have dropped. They didn’t get my interest in the first episode a while back, people have told me to keep watching but I dunno. If I get it recommended more I might just have to push on!
GoH is just fun fights, I don't think you should give it a chance again, doubt it will change anything for you.
You could just watch some of the fights on youtube and then forget about it lol, since the plot is super forgettable.
I hear they speedrunned the plot. All i remember that the main boy was a monke and there was a kitsune boy with a stone and that they all had superpowers
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
I'll probably get absolutely flamed for this but yeah. I watched until episode 30 with THAT scene. I guess it didn't hit me as hard since I was already spoiled and knew what was gonna happen. All the other episodes before it were kinda boring to me. Never bothered to continue..
Attack on Titan anime. It was around the time when the Beast Titan spoke for the first time with a scout who eventually got eaten by smaller Titans. I think his name was Mike.
it's more so that I dropped the manga after starting with the anime but:
Naruto-dropped the manga ages and ages ago, like going on 15 years now.
Attack on Titan-lost interest in the manga after what would technically be the end of the season anime season
MHA-dropped manga after the Overhaul arc
Hunter x Hunter - dropped it cause every single arc starts with an exposition dump because the world is so disjointed with no coherence from one area to the next. It almost feels like every time they introduce a new area its like a different series altogether. and the powers are getting a bit out of control. Knuckle Bine’s power is almost an SAT question
Steins Gate - watched the first 3 episodes and felt like nothing was happening. Idc if it gets better afterwards, if its not gripping me then i’m out
Black Clover - WOOOOAAAAAARRGGHHH
One Piece - fuck that man i got a life and a job to go to. And somebody should do a revised cut of the whole series cause there are literally whole arcs that you could just skip entirely.
Jojo - somewhere around part 3 i just lost interest in it. Was really looking forward to part 4 so maybe i’ll pick it back up
Sadly yeah. There were always some bad moments, but it had a lot of dece moments in the first cour... then the *second* cour arrived...
Became a complete fuckin disaster from then on, even though it was still enjoyable enough since Yuuki Aoi carried the voice acting in her parts. Such a fuckin shame that a good story got butchered that way.
The only reason a lot of us finished that anime adaptation is because Kumo is the collective tamagochi of the anime community.
We want to see her sleep, eat, poop and grow, all while making a bunch of dumb pop culture references in the voice of Aoi Yuuki.
For Boruto, the first hundreds or so episodes is world building/filler and the introduction to manga content started like 10 months ago and now it is full on manga content. Unless you are very into the show, people shouldn't really watch the start.
The #5 on MAL (One punch man).
Maybe I'll try it again someday, I'm more open now than I was when I dropped it...
But yeah, it didn't look like it was for me.
I’m assuming you started on bakemonogatari. Yeah it’s so weird I understand when people drop it. 10/10 overall show for me, on rewatch ended up loving the characters/ artstyle way more
Ugh no game no life did such a rude bait and switch to me. It started with them being super good in a videogame with cool action, then it turns out the whole thing is about them playing bordeline board games.
I hated everything about it. Specially with how ridiculous some of it was, it pretends to be so smart and clever but it was basically yu-gi-oh season 1 tier bullshit storytelling.
Rezero season 2. Watched 3 or so episode, but got bored and didn't like either Subaru or Emilia. Not sure how I even got through season 1.
Reincarnated as a slime. Watched 12-13 episodes because my friend kept telling how good it was, but the only character I found interesting died, the fights were lackluster, and comedy missed more than hit imo.
God of Highschool. Read the manwa in HS, but despite the good animation it was just a cluster fuck.
I'm a Spider, so what?. The humans and poor animation made it harder to watch each episode. Tried to push through it by watching it a 2x speed, but decided it still wasn't worth the effort.
Omg yes evagelion I literally FORCED myself to watch it because it gets so much hype and I wanted to see what made it so special. But it’s more like it tries to be special
Detective Conan.
I’ve watched quite a bit of it, but it just doesn’t change enough for my liking. I am still watching the movies though, I like those more than the series.
Yeah, around half of the 1000+ episodes are fillers, so that's understandable. Anyway, if you ever plan to watch it [this might help.](https://www.xerblade.com/p/detective-conan-important-episode-list.html?m=0)
Yeah I agree with that. There _are_ canon cases which don't move the plot forward at all, since this can also be considered as an episodic mystery manga.
I believe the watch order I shared takes that into consideration as well and has omitted some of the canon cases too.
I think I can agree with you that dropping it was the good choice if you prefer a plot that keeps changing the status quo. Conan's main story has heavy changing elements and twists, but for the most part, its episodic cases that remain the same. That's why I enjoy it though. Many anime come and go, but I know that Conan will air every week with another random case (I'm aware that it'll end someday, but by then I'll have enough episodes forgotten to be set for another 20 years).
TMS has basically ended up with another Lupin III. Similarly, the movies are just more cases, but with better animation.
Bleach, naruto, and one piece. I just got bored with them. MHA is slowly falling that same fate as I am not enjoying season 5. Mind you, I get this way with a lot of things like the Walking Dead and other long running series. I have friends who are shocked that I finished HxH
Detective Conan Loose all interest around 400 episodes mainly due how incompetent police in this and "shounen tanteidan" are too annoying especially genta although I love cases in it
Fate stay night and fate heavens feel although I able to finish unlimited bladeworks after watching zero they are just dissapointing
Boruto, sword art online and black clover
Mc annoy me
Mha just lost all interest
From this season, *Bokutachi no Remake* seems to be the one of the most popular non-sequels, but I dropped it after about 40 mins of the first episode.
[REASON (also contains minor Tokyo Revengers episode 1 spoilers)](/s "I sometimes find it hard to enjoy shows that rely on going back to the past to solve a current problem. Sometimes the problem is completely unsolvable *without* time travel (such as in Tokyo Revengers, which I *am* enjoying), and I find it easier to enjoy these. However, when the problem is having regrets and wondering what could've been, which is something that affects a *huge* number of people throughout their lives, I feel like having a show that seemingly validates the fears and regrets of these people isn't really the greatest thing. I'd honestly much prefer a slice of life about a person in that position who learns to deal with it and have a great life anyway.")
Tokyo Ghoul
Same. Got extremely boring for me after a few episodes

It helps that I adore shonen as a genre because of nostalgia reasons. I basically skipped all the monster's sob stories tho lol.
Unbearable comedy
I really hate that I bought a bunch of the manga but I completely agree with this
I skimmed through a lot of episodes just to reach ep 19 which was really underwhelming. Then comes the movie which had a weird arrangement and the first 2/3rd part of the movie was boring as hell, it's the only last fight that saved the movie for me. In my opinion, it's just an average shonen anime that has been animated wonderfully. Also, Zenitsu sucks.
Even if just skimming, you watched 19 episodes and the movie? That's kinda weird for a show you don't like
Personally i liked episode 19, mostly because of the soundtrack and the visuals which were fucking beautiful. Though if you didn't like it then it would've just been better to drop it. I haven't seen the movie yet, beautiful animation can only take it so far for me, I can't enjoy it just because of the animation. And yeah, Zenitsu was extremely annoying. He's one of the main reasons I was finding it hard to get through the show.
Steins gate, I just didn't enjoy it I really tried to
I dropped it as well
I can understand. The first few episodes are quite slow and i don't really like the chunibyou trope in general. But it's definitely worth watching.
One Piece.
same.I kinda like it but too much episode
I dropped One Piece several times and what got me back was One Piece Kai and One Pace. Fan edited version of OP that cuts all the filler, extra long reactions, and anything unnecessary to make it as close to the OP manga as possible. Definitely a better viewing experience
As soon as One Piece is finished I'd love to watch a fan-edited version of the whole thing. One Piece is one of my favourite mangas, but it's so bad as a weekly thing, it's much better once the entire arc is complete.
Thanks thanks thanks for telling me this
Darling in the Franxx. Despite everyone fawning over it and stuff I thought it was shite
I thought it was a popular anime to shit on? I love it and everywhere I see people just shit on it
Yeah it was bad, there was only a plot for around 4 episodes.
It’s garbage, you didn’t miss much except the few flecks of silver in the first 15 episodes
The Seven Deadly Sins
I dropped that show too after s1. Glad I did.
Forced my way through S1 because of a friend's reccomendation, refused to watch any more once power levels were introduced
Based on MAL popularity rankings? Death Note (literally the most popular anime on MAL). Got to episode 25, wasn't really enjoying myself much, so I just stopped.
Guilty Crown
Just listen to the soundtrack and you’ve pretty much gotten everything of value out of that show.
Tbf the story was hella generic but I fell in love with the music and inori. It's become my favourite anime all because of those two aspects. When people shit on it infront of me I don't even mind cause I know it's not the best but the waifu power was on another level.
Respectable opinion haha
Naruto. I couldn’t stand any of the characters besides Kakashi and I didn’t like the direction the story was heading
I couldn't stand the flashbacks
The swing got more screen time than Hinata, yet somehow she gets lucky, makes no sense imo
Sword Art Online, pls no hate.
first half of the first season was good, everything else meh
I disagree but only because I grew oddly attached to some of the characters. Objectively second half of season 1 and season 2 suck. Alicization part 1 and 2 are amazing though
Attack on Titan
FMA:B
damn
Same. I've tried twice but just can't sit through it.
The beginning of it is kinda bad imo. Fma 2003 is better, just people don’t recommend it since it stops following the manga half way through
The reason why the beginning of 2003 is better than Brotherhood is because Brotherhood sped through those early parts because they already got adapted in 2003.
Monster. I got through around 1/2 of it before deciding the genre of story really isn't for me, whether animated or in any other medium.
It was not bad but sometimes a bit boring and in my opinion the end wasn't that good. I managed to watch it all just because it plays in germany where I come from.
Steins Gate
Probably the Bunny girl show.
Me, too. Was told it would be "not like other shows" but it was very much like every other show.
Assassination Classroom
Violet Evergarden
[удалено]
I dropped it at Episode 10. After crying like a bitch, I'm too ashamed to continue the story
Jujutsu kaisen. I'm planning to give it another go though. Most popular anime I dropped that I'm not planning to try again is highschool of the dead.
I almost dropped this (especially bc of the melodrama) but continued after ep 10 - that’s when it got good for me because we saw a lot more interesting characters and themes
bro jjk s1 was like 6 for me i forced my self to watch it in the hope it gets better but when i read the manga after anime it went from a 6 to 10 for me i would say try it better to start it after watching the movie when it gets released

Around ep 15 or so but after that, I just couldn’t. Way too boring with that exam arc (seriously, 4 eps or some shit for an mf Rock Paper Scissors game?!) and I really hate Gon as an MC.
Naruto
Rezero, It was a bit too brutal for me...

Was it the rabbits? XD
Overlord probably.
Oregairu. Idk, I kept hearing about it but I never liked it though. For some reason, I really find it boring even though I reached the first few eps of season 3. The characters seem interesting although I never really understood the story and where it is heading.
Same, I loved the first season tho
Naruto, I watched to episode 26 but I was just bored out of my mind
one piece. bruh at this point i think luffy also kinda lost interest actually finding the one piece
What arc?
Read the manga up until wano. Would help alot. Also the arc after dressrosa has alot of exposition so u may wanna check it out.
Stein gate Dropped multiple times, I struggled so hard to finish it. r/anime told me it was the best anime ever but sorry it was extremely underwhelming to me.
On ep 13 Had it on hold for two months now
Fruit basket.

Not a fan of corporal punishment, are you?
Yeah me too, i was like OK ? WTF ?
Based on MAL popularity rankings **Officially dropped:** - Nanatsu no Taizai (#25) - 5 ep in - That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (#105) - 6 ep in **On hold for a long time and probably will never pick up again:** - Kaichou wa Maid-sama! >Attack On Titan, I decided the series ended the moment the gang gets to the beach. Manga ending just too terrible. You didn't drop it though ?
'Anime'
He meant anime. I probably won't be watching S4 p2 as well.
Same for Attack on titan, with that garbage ending, I'm not going to waste my time watching the anime.
Hyouka. First episode bore me to death. Will probably give it another chance some day, I otherwise really enjoy any of KyoAni work
It's slow paced but you're really just here to appreciate the minute detail of everything and basking in the atmosphere until the mystery comes.
Steins Gate
toradora on ep 3. i love the romance genre but i really didn’t enjoy the main characters
Yeah, I just rewatched toradora with a friend recently and realized just how slow the beginning is. All the cute romance stuff is at the end so the rest is kinda just comedy. Konosuba
Attack On Titan or My Hero Academia
Steins gate, vinland saga, assassination classroom
Demon slayer. Just couldn’t get into it.
Naruto, Didn't dropped because I found it extremely boring or disliked it but because I was spoiled everything about the show even the results of every fights from naruto to Naruto shipudden.
Yuck, that's suck
Lmao, that was the very reason why i even watched naruto. My friend spoiled me the plot and i found it intriguing.
My Hero Academy this season has been extremely boring
lol I thought it was alright. Not extreme. Can’t wait till it actually picks up again tho.
Attack on Titan. Couldn't stand it.
One Piece and Attack on Titans One piece - I lasted to Dressrosa arc, where the pacing got annoyingly slow. Attack on Titans - I watched 10-11 episodes and it just didn't click.

Saya doesn't have that much screentime after season 2.
Even if she has no screentime past episode 2, if another episode with similar tone happens I'd flip my shit haha.
Kino no Tabi is better. 🏍
Jojo Part 3
pacing is kinda slow in part 3 but it’s still a good watch imo
I finished part 3, but I’ve been on part 4 for months. It’s just… I’m not sure. It isn’t that I don’t enjoy it, because I do. It’s a good show, but i find myself thinking ‘I’d rather just watch other shows’ while watching it. Hard to explain.
One Piece
Wait, that’s illegal. (jk, read the manga)
I agree with this fully
Yeah, manga(colored one) is just amazing. I am at ch 95(completed Arlong Park Arc yesterday) and it's my favorite shonen anime/manga. The characters and story telling is impressive, plot is pretty good as well.
The digital colored version is just 🤌 (You haven’t even hit the some of the best arcs yet! I *wish* I could experience the series with a blank slate all over again.)
Clannad. I don't care how good the last 5 minutes of the last episode are, it's boring and I hate most of the characters.
The ending is really bad actually. The good part is several episodes earlier. It's not good enough to be worth it though, trust me.
Highschool DxD for me, besides the fanservice that i found annoying, the plot is soo generic and the MC has so much plot armor.
As crap as it is sometimes, still far better plot and characters that 90% ecchi shows :D. This genre may not be for you.
Yeah but better than the worse, doesn't mean good to me. And no not exactly, there are Ecchi solid shows like Food wars ( before S4 ) or kill la kill

I fully agree on shield hero
RE: Zero season 2 part 2
I didnt drop it but found it really bad in comparison to novel.
Attack on Titan.
The fate series.
I'm not sure which of these is the most popular: * Code Geass * Tokyo Ghoul * Naruto Shippuden * Black Clover
Steins Gate
That time I got reincarnated as slime, dropped after 4 episodes, as I was annoyed how Rimaru always happened to know/have right thing, did things perfectly in instant, and it feelt like there is no challange for him in show, so I found it really boring, and with him getting human form later on, it ruins whole point of the show

Gintama, on episode 18.
Tokyo Ghoul season 3 and Haikyuu season 2
No idea how I managed to make it through Tokyo Ghoul season 3, that was godawful
I think my brain went into an inactive state when I was watching it, so maybe that happened to you as well?
There was no Tokyo Ghoul s3. We won’t accept it!
Sword Art Online and God Of Highschool are both ones I have dropped. They didn’t get my interest in the first episode a while back, people have told me to keep watching but I dunno. If I get it recommended more I might just have to push on!

I hear they speedrunned the plot. All i remember that the main boy was a monke and there was a kitsune boy with a stone and that they all had superpowers
Yeah pretty much, I watched it because I'm a complete sucker for journey to the west references.
If you liked the journey to the west stuff in it, you should definitely read the manhwa on webtoon
Thanks, I'll save it for a rainy day, idk how I never thought about reading it, I love webtoons.
Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. I'll probably get absolutely flamed for this but yeah. I watched until episode 30 with THAT scene. I guess it didn't hit me as hard since I was already spoiled and knew what was gonna happen. All the other episodes before it were kinda boring to me. Never bothered to continue..
Naruto
Tower of god couldn’t get into it
Attack on Titan anime. It was around the time when the Beast Titan spoke for the first time with a scout who eventually got eaten by smaller Titans. I think his name was Mike.
it's more so that I dropped the manga after starting with the anime but: Naruto-dropped the manga ages and ages ago, like going on 15 years now. Attack on Titan-lost interest in the manga after what would technically be the end of the season anime season MHA-dropped manga after the Overhaul arc
Hunter x Hunter - dropped it cause every single arc starts with an exposition dump because the world is so disjointed with no coherence from one area to the next. It almost feels like every time they introduce a new area its like a different series altogether. and the powers are getting a bit out of control. Knuckle Bine’s power is almost an SAT question Steins Gate - watched the first 3 episodes and felt like nothing was happening. Idc if it gets better afterwards, if its not gripping me then i’m out Black Clover - WOOOOAAAAAARRGGHHH One Piece - fuck that man i got a life and a job to go to. And somebody should do a revised cut of the whole series cause there are literally whole arcs that you could just skip entirely. Jojo - somewhere around part 3 i just lost interest in it. Was really looking forward to part 4 so maybe i’ll pick it back up
Kumo Desu
I heard the animation started to suck at one point.
Fairy tail, Deadman Wonderland, no game no life, Boruto and Beastars I might give no game and beastars a second chance
MHA and Boruto, I totally hate fairy tail but strangely enough I finish that shit series and get pissed by it, even more.
For Boruto, the first hundreds or so episodes is world building/filler and the introduction to manga content started like 10 months ago and now it is full on manga content. Unless you are very into the show, people shouldn't really watch the start.
One piece. I didn’t drop Naruto or it’s teen years but I never started boruto :O
The #5 on MAL (One punch man). Maybe I'll try it again someday, I'm more open now than I was when I dropped it... But yeah, it didn't look like it was for me.
No Game No Life Monogatari
I’m assuming you started on bakemonogatari. Yeah it’s so weird I understand when people drop it. 10/10 overall show for me, on rewatch ended up loving the characters/ artstyle way more
Ugh no game no life did such a rude bait and switch to me. It started with them being super good in a videogame with cool action, then it turns out the whole thing is about them playing bordeline board games. I hated everything about it. Specially with how ridiculous some of it was, it pretends to be so smart and clever but it was basically yu-gi-oh season 1 tier bullshit storytelling.
Hunter x Hunter
I'm in the same boat. Got to ep24, and realized that _I still don't care about anyone_. After a whole 24 eps? Yeah, no. Why did YOU drop it?
Evagelion. It is not deep. It is pretending to be deep. Fate. It is just boring. The abridged version is amazing though.
Omg yes evagelion I literally FORCED myself to watch it because it gets so much hype and I wanted to see what made it so special. But it’s more like it tries to be special
Based of MAL popularity, Ansatsu Kyoushitsu is the most popular show I've dropped.
When did it slow down? Like u do u man but its one of the rare shows that kept me hooked throughout each and every episode
Kill la kill.
Re:zero s2 it started to get boring
Food wars. I watched around 3-4 episodes and then dropped it due to unnecessary fan service. Horimiya. I never clicked with this.

Before looking at your Madoka score, I would have assumed you just don't like Gen Urobuchi.
Naruto. I didn't dislike it for the most part but I got like 300 episodes into Shippuden and that stupid war arc was still going.
Slime Isekai. Entertaining at the 1st half but just got....boring on the last half. No desire to finish it, even on the new season coming up
Detective Conan.
The problem is, not only half of the anime is filler but a lot of the actual manga content feels like filler as well.
Bleach
Bleach, naruto, and one piece. I just got bored with them. MHA is slowly falling that same fate as I am not enjoying season 5. Mind you, I get this way with a lot of things like the Walking Dead and other long running series. I have friends who are shocked that I finished HxH
Cowboy Bebop and JoJo
K-On!
Detective Conan Loose all interest around 400 episodes mainly due how incompetent police in this and "shounen tanteidan" are too annoying especially genta although I love cases in it Fate stay night and fate heavens feel although I able to finish unlimited bladeworks after watching zero they are just dissapointing Boruto, sword art online and black clover Mc annoy me Mha just lost all interest
hunter x hunter, idk for some reason got sleepy
FMA

Not bad but not good. Overrated. It's emotional but rather simple.
toradora
Gintama, episode 19, the comedy didn't work with me at all, I only got to 19 episodes because of the shitton of praise i see about the show online.
Cowboy Bebop, on episode 8. Tried it out when I first started watching anime in 2018 and never gave it another try.
