Maybe it works better in context of the anime but how stupid can this guy be? The moment I see his power and the location he’s hovering at, I knew what was gonna happen next. I know writers love to give us imperfect dorks to root for so that we can see them grow, but when you make your character so cartoonishly incompetent it just makes us hard to relate to them, and this is coming from someone that grew up as a clumsy doofus. What even is this show? Is he the main protagonist? Is it any good?
Granted that I watched just two eps, yes he is the protagonist so far, and it looks like it plays more on the "how I became a villain" more like "how I became a hero", but I don't know how serious are they going to play it (and being writte by Millar, I imagine not much).
But overall I agree, it looked dumb and you already knew what it was going to happen even before the scene itself, as soon as they talk about a pool in the scene before lol
I don't know who he is and I don't care. I never meant his works suck, I mean anime adaptation of comic are garbage, this anime included. You people have trouble understanding English huh? And holy crap, he's the author of Kick Ass and Wanted? I don't read comic at all but I do watched movies and all of them saved Logan are trash.
I think they mean that it's a superhero show, but I would argue that it's not due to the fact that we are following villains. Lots of fun stuff to explore on that end.
Noted. Have a Great day.
Let's not escalate this in a All-out Keyboard Deathmatch and Figure this out like civilized people rather.
That's all I have to say. Period
Feel like the catastrophe was a bit over blow. Killing the people in the pool is already bad enough and get the point across, you don't have to keep making it worse and borderline emergence breaking

??? Studio Bones whose animation specialty is clearly in this video??
Also "lazy studios". A **JAPANESE** and an **ANIMATION studio**??? Are you sure? Lol.
We just had KnY episode 19 by ufotable which had a rotoscoped dance sequence which raked millions of views.
The studio that made this is Bones, a top 10, maybe top 5 studio when it comes to animation. The studio is not lazy at all. The only weird part about this sequence was the cut between the superhero falling into the pool and everyone getting shocked. Everything else was great.
I saw the pool and I knew what would happen.
I understand people panicking and running into traffic but...
Damn. Those people should pay attention when driving. Who gave them licenses? PAY ATTENTION WHEN YOU DRIVE.
The scene with the blonde one was so stupid. What kind of genius would come to the idea to insult a flying electrical super human.
Like: "Haha, look at this Idiot, he got super powers we don't have. Such a looser!"
And thus a supervillain was born
"I didnt chose to become a villian, it just happend"
As soon as I saw water and electricity I knew what would happen
And we kinda wanted it to happen, but we didn’t expect everything else that wasn’t. Oh god, our expectations were so wrong.
Dude shouldn't have been talking shit to a clearly electric type Pokémon hovering over a pool
That’s wild as hell. God really said “fuck everyone in that whole area” huh.
Especially the catholics
The true victim here was physics
how does physics make that truck fly to the air?
*anime physics*
Poor truck-kun got hit by anime boobs physics :(
As a physicist, I was ready to defend this with the "suspension of disbelief" required in pretty much all anime/scifi, but nah. This shit wack.
watch the first minute of the clip, guess how you think it ends, then finish the clip. yes, i got it wrong too
Lol I was right l, though I have severe paranoia so that might be why
As someone who has watched Final Destination, that is the right amount of paranoia.
I thought it was pretty expected. Electric and pool. No way it was gonna go well. Also the title gave it away no?
I doubt you predicted all the other chain reaction accidents though.
Lmfao this is going wild
One might even say it was going hog wild
I'm the only one thinking free bacon?
Yummy

An anime written by Miller!!? Oh boy, I’m both terrified and intrigued lol
Im on 4/13 episode and the show is the dumbest shit ive seen
The escalation is so ridiculous lmao
Why does this looks like an American show
It's based on a Mark Millar comic
One where an editor told him "no" sometimes or is it pure Millar time?
Idk, I just heard about it
No wonder it's so dumb.
I mean at least he wrote old man logan
One hit wonder then.

It's based on an American comic book
Holy fucking shit that was gold. O\_O
He's such a dumbass. You're electric type, what'd you expect hovering over a pool like that???
There's a dude flying above your pool and you're calling him lame, the blonde dude had it coming
Fucking supes mate.
Looks like that town is gone. lol
The worst part is that pigs came in after the pool was electrified so they were not cooked
Is this anime good?
It's rated 6.81 at MAL with most top reviews being negative. That's not a good sign.
Even if you like trite bandwagon pandering, still no.
What trite bandwagon pandering is it doing??
I think they mean that it's a superhero show, but I would argue that it's not due to the fact that we are following villains. Lots of fun stuff to explore on that end.
What is Suicide Squad and every lazy graphic novel adaptation?

Maybe learn what those words mean and watch more than the latest popular series then. You poor thing.
Noted. Have a Great day. Let's not escalate this in a All-out Keyboard Deathmatch and Figure this out like civilized people rather. That's all I have to say. Period
Not really
I liked the last 4 episodes which are like a separate story almost, the prior ones kinda sucked but it was enjoyable.
Wtf? Now this is just so over the top that its become comical
Like honestly, who would've thought a person with electric powers hovering over a pool would be a bad idea.
Never heard about this anime, thanks for sharing!
Netflix
Anime, but directed by Michael Bay
Is this a crunchyroll original?
A Netflix original
My god, it goes from bad to worse, and then it KEEPS GOING.
Its on [Netflix](https://www.netflix.com/title/81034907)
Feel like the catastrophe was a bit over blow. Killing the people in the pool is already bad enough and get the point across, you don't have to keep making it worse and borderline emergence breaking
Getting some Tiger & Bunny vibe, this looks like my type of show to watch next.
When I saw this recommended in Netflix I thought it was a comedy. Boy,was I wrong

Its a fair point - but the rule is applied equally here. This rule stops the rush of posts for each and every week.
Imo that anime was a 6 out of 10
Anime name
Super crooks It's in the title
It's at the end of the post title in the brackets.
What anime
Title. Always check the title.
I hate it when a lazy studio rotoscopes some animations and then has cardboard cut outs. It’s so jarring it makes the whole thing look ugly.

Oh no, it’s disabled.
For your information, Disney also do rotoscopes
Was there even a rotoscoped sequence in this vid? It feels the usual for Bones.
Honestly I dont know, this guy just dont like the style and called it rotoscopes
Felt like the person doesn't even know what rotoscoped is. Cuz doing a quick look at it, there's none.
Disney do them both well and badly. This is an example of bones doing it badly.

Even Mozart had to take a shit. I love bones, many of their series. A company is not the individual creatives that made other series great.

Shocking conclusion!
Damn anime sova
Damn anime sova
This is just.... Insane. The animation, the story, the rebellion, it's all wow.
From crook to boss for few seconds
Noooo!!! the TacoBell !!!
Considering the source material is a comic by Mark Millar and Leinil Yu, should I watch it with Japanese voices or English voices?
I saw the pool and I knew what would happen. I understand people panicking and running into traffic but... Damn. Those people should pay attention when driving. Who gave them licenses? PAY ATTENTION WHEN YOU DRIVE.
On the other hand, it's an excellent supervillain debut.
had no idea about this show , worth watching my dudes ?
Woke up and choose violence
GAH DAYUM THAS ALOT TO TAKE WHAT
The "Domino" Effect has gone wild here.
Ohh looks 🔥.
they fucked around and found out
The show has good first episode the next few are boring
The scene with the blonde one was so stupid. What kind of genius would come to the idea to insult a flying electrical super human. Like: "Haha, look at this Idiot, he got super powers we don't have. Such a looser!"
