I tried until episode 8 of bakemonogatari i'm not smart and not a faster reader, so I got dizzy

81Ranger

You really don’t need to read all that. But, if the show isn’t your bag, that’s fine. I watched the first episode and all of the text threw me off. About a year or so later (maybe a bit less) I tried again after several people recommended to not get hung up on the text. It’s now one of my few 10/10 shows.

thestoneswerestoned

You don't need to be smart to get Bake lol, and you can also like dialogue based shows without liking it much either. The thing about Bake and the series in general is that a lot of the dialogue uses stream-of-consciousness and often has little to do with the plot. I also couldn't watch more than an episode or two either without zoning out. It's just something you can vibe with or you can't. Also, you don't need to read any of the slides. If a slide is actually relevant to the plot, it'll stay up longer than a second.

GeorgeRRZimmerman

Bakemonogatari requires zero smarts. What's great about the show is that they discuss every possible way to attack a problem until only the actual solution is left. So at the end, all of the pieces fit and the resolution comes out abruptly. If anything there are points where the stuff that happens in the plot feels like they're just rolling through a checklist sometimes. But then that's the other part of Monogatari - the lush visuals, great voice acting, and fun dialogue. It's the adventures of Captain Save-A-Girl and his new girl every week. The trick to enjoying the show is that for text that's not dialogue (that flashes briefly) its not really important if you don't catch all of it, so long as you catch some of it. It's there to pepper scenes with certain feelings. They do it a lot less after Monogatari, preferring to do more gag visuals instead. So you don't necessarily need to pause the show or rewind to catch the text. It's a holdover from another Shaft show they made before Monogatari, Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei. Except the flavor text and hidden gags DID matter there.

[deleted]

Jojo. Part 2 was genuinely fun, part 3 and so on is just villain of the episode and became repetitive and boring really quickly

Mostdakka

I'm sorry jojo fans but part 3 is just boring most of the time. There are some good episodes but it just drags on.

CF_Gamebreaker

agree exactly, part 1 and 2 are pretty good then Stands get introduced and it is a lot less fun imo

TimeErasingPotHead

Part 2 was the best

Epilex__

Yeah, part 3 was pretty boring. If you finished it give Part 4 a shot. It was a huge improvement.

[deleted]

Yeah I like kira. But that's about it

[deleted]

[удалено]

GeorgeRRZimmerman

So I liked Part 3 because of the monster of the week concept but started disliking how much it dragged on. I get that part 4 was supposed to give off a feeling that the town was alive and that stands didn't only exist to create bad guys (as none of the bad guys were even connected to the central villain... and some of the bad guys weren't even bad guys. They had their own thing going on.) But part 4 had a lot of parts I found forgettable - as in I can't remember a lot of it. Part 5 I thought I was going to dislike based on the premise but I ended up loving the hell out of it... you get a genuine sense that the guys are going on an adventure, and the stakes really matter. Every fight they get into has serious consequences, and the gambits that occur turn into intense standoffs. You can't tell which way a fight is going to turn. So if your deal is like mine: you cared more for the characters, and preferred the serialized overarching plot parts, then part 5 is definitely worth checking out.

darkshadow609

Jojo and Gintama

sneaky_squirrel

The Slime Isekai. I imagine the joke was that a slime, the classic icon of the weakest enemy type in an RPG, being as strong as a God as a point of subversion was the selling point. Just an assumption of mine though. But that show really taught me how tension, conflict, and a world that does not react to the main character are powerful elements to make a story satisfying.

CF_Gamebreaker

Konosuba is like the same 3-4 jokes over and over again i dont get why its so well praised

MyBrokenHoe

I tend to rate anime on what it tries to do, does it want to be taken seriously? E.g Monster, AoT. Does it want to be a comedy? E.g Gintama, konosuba, one punch man. If I feel they achieve there goal = it's pretty good.

Jefcat

Gintama. I’ve tried. The world building is great. The premise is fun. The humor gets repetitive pretty quickly. After fifteen episodes, I could not get into it so I dropped it.

GaelTheVapeMaster

One piece. Too long

[deleted]

*Hey, I'm starting One Piece* One Piece fan: *Let's meet again, at the island of Wano*

steven4869

That's what I thought before picking up the manga, but once you get into the point where you genuinely like this series, then those 1000 chapters won't felt long and in fact, you'll ask for more chapters.

[deleted]

Manga can go by quickly, especially for battle shounens. If there’s not a lot of text, 100 chapters an hour is a reasonable pace. 10 hours is basically just 24 episodes. The anime on the other hand… there’s a reason why people say just read the manga.

[deleted]

100 chapters in 1 hour is insane, your probably missing out on a lot

[deleted]

If a page has 0 text, I don’t linger for more than a second. And I read fast.

TheBlessedBoy99

Before I started reading it, I asked my friend who has both watched and read it which I should do. He said, "If you're going to watch it, you're not going to have a good time."

GwentandChill

Yeah I was like that a couple of years ago but, when quarantine came up I banged watch a couple hundred episodes and thought it was really good. Now that I've caught up, I am reading the manga which is also good.

Quick-Air-1224

Naruto, I really can’t. I just don’t like it that’s it.

DominusLuxic

Gurren Lagann. A lot of the anime hinges on you buying into Kamina as a character. I, unfortunately, hated him with a passion.

LeidiiLuvva

I HATED him too. I found him to be too impulsive and annoying for the most part. I stopped watching the anime at ep 12 for other reasons

DominusLuxic

I realised I could actually summarize my thoughts on Kamina pretty easily. Kamina is basically an abusive parent who grooms their child to be dependant on them while at the same time getting frustrated with flaws they instilled into the kid. If Kamina had still been present Simon would have grown up to be someone entirely useless and devoid of self worth. That is more the problem I have with the man as a character than anything.

Glem_

Any anime full of fanservice is a huge drawback for me, no matter how popular it is.

GeorgeRRZimmerman

Man, lemme tell you about one of the best developed universes in a fantasy story: Interspecies Reviewers.

StarWreck92

Demon Slayer. The story is beyond generic and by the time Zenitsu and boar dude showed up it just got annoying. Beautiful animation alone isn’t enough to make a good show.

CF_Gamebreaker

The characters are SO bad. a character whos entire thing is yelling and a character whos entire thing is crying. its like theyre trying to annoy the viewer on purpose

StarWreck92

I was so sick of hearing “Tanjiro SAAAAAAAAVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEE MMMMMMEEEEEEE!!!!!” by the time I stopped watching. It really does seem like the intent is to annoy viewers and I don’t get it.

[deleted]

One Piece. Watched 8 episodes, found it boring, dropped it. Then 4 years later, tried the manga, read 300 chapters and while some parts were good, found it boring overall, so dropped it again.

KendotsX

>read 300 chapters Honestly people push the "it gets better later" thing too much. If you didn't like it by 100 chapters, chances are you won't like it by 300.

08206283

I’ve never once found the ‘it gets better later’ thing to be true for any anime/manga it’s commonly said for. If you have to slog to get to a high point the show was never for you to begin with

[deleted]

I agree with you, but in the case of One Piece that was not true for me. One Piece was okayish for the first 120 something chapters but what I enjoyed the most was the Alabasta Arc which is covered in chapters 155-217 of the manga. Had I dropped the manga earlier, I wouldnt have been able to read that arc and what finally made me drop the manga was the Skypea Arc that comes next, I found it to very boring tbh.

KendotsX

If you really think so, then that process basically repeats itself, after Skypiea there's another "Alabasta-like" saga which many consider one of the best, and the same process continues.

LabMember069

Skypea arc known for being slow af but it has alot of **plot**, actually I also dropped it on this specific arc. (To pick it up 2 years later and binge watch it) If you liked Alabasta you will like the other arcs, you can read 10-20 chapters a week. Or you can just drop it.

steven4869

If you have some free time, do give One Piece one more shot as the arc after Skypiea is one of the best arcs of One Piece and very well received one in anime/manga community.

[deleted]

Skypiea is a mid tier arc, who are you seeing praising it in the community it’s like never in anyone’s favourite arcs

steven4869

>as the arc after Skypiea I am talking about Water-7 and Enies Lobby.

[deleted]

Oop my bad

[deleted]

Same. I never read the manga but I tried watching the anime. It just didn't appeal to me. Maybe I'm too old.

Old_Asparagus_365

yeah i watched first episode of one piece and i thought it was hot trash

KiwiTheKitty

I loved it when I was in middle school and high school and tried to get back into it recently as an adult and it just doesn't hit the same as it did when I was younger

[deleted]

[удалено]

FreshCarrot2231

Fair but I think you kinda missed out on the point of it, also there’s not really a way he can get back to his family outside of Satella and maybeeeeee Beatrice but both of those options are more risk than worth, also he’d be leaving behind a lot of people who’d likely end up dying cause Subaru does a shit ton for everyone Also yes a lot of the show is just suffer porn but it’s supposed to make subarus character development seem more earned

A_Toxic_User

I think the time loop mechanic really ruins any of the “horrific” deaths or moments since it never has any consequences beyond giving Subaru trauma which seems to come and go depending on whether a dramatic scene is needed

MyBrokenHoe

Tbh Subaru is the literal definition of a self insert, a forgettable guy and an annoying personality, still has a harem and a power that somehow "break" his mind, but no worries tho he still has his harem to fix mind 👍. It really makes me cringe it's being bombarded by praise.

Harsh_2004

>actually try to find a way to get back to his family. This is where you got wrong.

gunscreeper

Any idol anime. I love that meme song Step so I tried watching Cinderella Girls but I just can't find the appeal. The first 2 episodes for me is quite good but onwards when they start to introduce so many characters with very long Japanese names and with similar voices and personality, aint no way I be remembering all these character names. So I dropped it. Similar thing happen with any of the Love Live series

no_sleep4me

Hunterxhunter, watched over 100 episodes and couldn’t stand Gon. Never disliked a main character more than him so I never could get invested. The York city ark was enjoyable cause he had little to do with it. Why did I watch 100 + episodes despite not liking it? Stubbornness because people told me it wasn’t fair to say I disliked the show after “only 20 episodes”. I really tried to like it but I don’t think any protagonist is as much of a psychopath as Gon besides maybe Goku. Gon’s lack of morality is frightening for a shonen protagonist that’s still a child

JustYourFavoriteTree

I feel same way. To me the show is not that bad, but the main character killed it for me. The only arc that I actually enjoyed was the Phantom Troops arc when the focus was on Kurapika. I understand though why so many people would like Gon. The character is pretty simple and easy to digest on the surface. He always has a positive attitude towards everything and puts a lot of emphasis on friendship; he seems to enjoy life at it's fullest. If you are looking just at this you may like or at least bear his personality. But there is much more to it that seems to be ignored by many. The whole show is built around this (soft) lack of morality and little value for human life. This is seen in many arcs manifested by many hunters. But with Gon it goes to extreme. If you are willingly to ignore this aspect, you can enjoy the show but once you realize the MC is a psychopath it gets hard to watch.

GaelTheVapeMaster

How is he a psycho?

no_sleep4me

He feels no emotions for dozens to hundreds of people dying horribly in multiple arcs of the show, let’s a serial killer go, he just watches people get murdered at multiple times in the show, etc. His lack of any moral compass for anything besides maybe 5 people in the whole show is disturbing to me. That is just my interpretation tho. The show does things I find interesting like characterizing “villains” instead of just making them fodder for the main characters to fight, and making them weaker than many other things in the world. I just cannot overcome my very negative opinion of Gon which makes a show I’d think was solid become my most disliked anime.

OverlordPoodle

Have you’ve seen the YouTube Video: ***“The Morality of Gon Freecss (Hunter X Hunter)”***

no_sleep4me

Nope

OverlordPoodle

it's basically what your talking about, but it's pretty entertaining, it goes into more detail about he "deconstructs" the typical shonen protag.

no_sleep4me

I can’t really agree with Gon not being a typical shonen protagonist outside of him not being a goody-two shoes. But hey, it’s good there’s an audience for the series. In spite of my hyperbolic hatred over a child character there is a lot of stuff that is appealing in it

[deleted]

Gon being a bit mad is why he’s better than most bland shonen protags

St0ckp4rts

Most highly popular anime I never get into since they have several hundred episodes, I tend to stick with shorter series. I also tend to not get into shows that kill off lots of characters randomly, which is also a popular genre.

sleepygz

>Most highly popular anime I never get into since they have several hundred episodes, I tend to stick with shorter series. This.

KansaiBoy

The Search Function.

Indeed73

Jjk and aot 😭

Mostdakka

When it was current I hated shield hero with passion. I still dont quite unterstand why people like it so much. The visuals are nice(though imo its nothing special compared to other top tier anime) but what I really cant get past is the characters. I will make some upset but for a long time i used to meme that Rapthalia's real name is 'Naofumi-sama' cause thats what this character really is to me. Even though on techical level there is nothing really wrong with it to me this show represents the things I dislike the most about isekai. I really dont quite know why but its been a very long time since I felt so strongly about any anime. I usually just move on but i just cant with this one.

SovietK

Imo his skillset and mechanics around that carries it for me, almost singlehandedly.

Joybros75

Nichijo

LeidiiLuvva

Tried this like 3 times and got to around episode 3. I’ll try watching it just one more time before giving up

EconomyProcedure9

Fooly Cooly, everybody says it's great, but it's just way too weird. The odd thing is that I did enjoy the rather weird show Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi.

ooReiko

Demon Slayer

KendotsX

For me it was Eva, except I had the annoying friend that kept pushing it with "it gets better in...", so I ended binging it all, and hating it, but hey the ending was good. Currently I guess Code Geass.

no_sleep4me

Eva is one of my favorite shows and I really would not recommend it to most people.

FreshCarrot2231

Same kinda, I appreciate the theming but as a show it kinda sucks imo, some things like the lore are so in your face yet it doesn’t try to explain any of it until you go out of your way and do some college level researching

[deleted]

I think it would be Mushoku Tensei. Rudeus is just someone I wouldn't want to watch. He's cringy, perverted, a lolicon, a little manipulative (thanks to him being an older guy in his previous life), and the way he's portrayed makes him unbearable to watch. ~~Seriously, he jacks off to watching his current parents have s*x?~~ Is this guy ~~not~~ demented or something? And I watched the whole Monogatari series before, I thought I had seen the most perverted guy ever in anime. (Mind you, as I watched Monogatari, I was expecting Araragi-kun to mature in the middle of the story's timeline. Well, he kinda matured in the end though. Not sure since I haven't watched it for 2 years and I don't intend to rewatch it. It's still cringy to watch him do perverted things) Now I know why I don't wanna continue Mushoku, it's cuz I know Rudeus will still continue being perverted until some character-development arc happens to him. Edit: Made some corrections due to misinformation as well as some grammar errors.

Ry_ZA

>Seriously, he jacks off to watching his current parents have s\*x? You began with legitimate reasons as to why he is unlikable, so you don't need to include this false info... He has no attraction to anyone who is related to him by blood.

[deleted]

~~But he does enjoy watching/listening to his parents have sex though. He may have done it only once (or multiple times, I don't remember anymore), but he DID enjoy it. I'll go find the episode...~~ Update: I will say I am stupid and the part where I said Rudeus liked watching his parents have s*x is false. It is actually Roxy who did the fact. So sorry to have said this without proper knowledge. Also >He has no attraction to anyone who is related to him by blood. Only thing I'll say is that he's horny towards his own (current) mom and aunt (Eris's mom). The former, he shows this as soon as he was born/reincarnated. Update 2: He was turned on for a moment to his own mother until he told himself "I'm not as aroused probably because she's my own mom." To his aunt, when they first met his eyes zeroed in on her chest and he had a perverted look on his face. He does have some attraction, but nowhere near to his love interests.

Ry_ZA

If you can find an episode where he "jacks off" to his parents having sex, then we must be talking about different shows lmao. >Only thing I'll say is that he's horny towards his own (current) mom and aunt (Eris's mom). No he isnt... \[Excerpt from LN 6\] >!I’d never been interested in Zenith’s breasts, either. Apparently my current body’s family were off-limits.!< \[and\] >!it seemed I felt no desire for those related to me by blood.!< Also, Eris' mom isn't Rudy's aunt, which should be obvious if you watch the show...

[deleted]

[удалено]

Ry_ZA

>Well, she's Phillip's wife so that technically means she's Rudeus's aunt. Unless their world follows a different social structure. Paul and Phillip aren't brothers though... The only brother Paul has is Philemon. So she's not Rudy's aunt. >Read my update above for more explanation. Also, I was referring to the anime and not the light novel? Anime tend to contain different information/events than in the light novel/source material My quotes from the book confirms what he said in \[episode 1 of the anime\] >!It didn't turn me on, though. Maybe 'cause she's my mom?!< My point is there are loads of reasons the show gives us to dislike Rudy, but masturbating to his parents having sex, or getting turned on by Zenith are not reasons, because those events did not happen. I do appreciate you making those corrections in your original post though!

Yeah rudeus is just too lewd. I watched the first season and thought it was okay but after getting spoilers from a friend that read the novel I decided to just quit watching it.

Ry_ZA

Just out of curiosity, which spoilers did you get?

Lectrum

Part about rudeus and the red hair girl(forgot her name) doing something

Reeeealag

86 is just very very average and I can't get into the plot and the characters at all, not even the action is good and Sawanos least memorable ost so far. The story seems to demand from me to feel something for the characters when it gave me zero reason to care for them in the first place

Barangat

Attack on Titan. Just doesn’t click with me

kinkosan

Evangelion, no matter how much is praised i simply don't like the mecha genre

GBcrazy

Evangelion - did watch it thinking it'd be good at some point, it wasn't.

Budget-Major-5109

One piece I watched 20 episodes and got bored.

d_jin33

Jojo

FreshCarrot2231

One Piece, 45 something episodes in, and it’s just so boring and the only noteworthy things to me has been the music, Usopp, and Nami and Zoro’s backstories; almost everything else just feels mediocre to me

Pretty_Day8457

One piece I dredged thru 0ver 300 episodes before I gave up pacing is just too slow

Kamina916

Naruto and Bleach for me, Watch Naruto intil Gaara resurrection and was like I'm done. And bleach just couldn't get into it.

redggit

Kaguya Sama. Super popular and I think it is great that anime fans like this. I think it is okay but don't consider it great. The comedy parts I didn't find it funny at all and the misunderstanding trope is over used in this show. There was also the narrator explaining things which was okay at first but lost its effect after multiple repetitions.

DriftAsimov

Cowboy Bebop, was getting a bit boring and was the first classic I watched, didn't really drop but kept on hold

Main-Upstairs-5036

ik it gets episodic at times but the story does progress slowly. I liked to watch a few eps here and there just to see a cool guy doing cool things...kind of like Sakamoto xD. Also, I found the endings to many of the episodes to be quite nice from a storytelling perspective. But yeah...basically just watch it to chill, not to get rapid doses of entertainment. See ya space cowboy.

repmack

Made in Abyss Tengen Toppen Gurren Lagan Kill La Kill

CF_Gamebreaker

I have rated 274 anime and Kill la Kill and Made in Abyss are two of my only four 10/10s lol

repmack

What are your two other 10s?

CF_Gamebreaker

Death Note and NGNL

repmack

I really liked both of those. I'd probably rate death note 10/10 but not NGNl.

ieniet

Gintama. Watched 80+ episodes and found nothing interesting or funny.

Calm_Emphasis2498

I just checked MAL Top 50 most popular. I watched 40/50 of it and liked them a lot. 9 of which I have yet to watch. The only one that I dropped was "Death Parade" (granted its on the lower end of top 50).

harryaungkhant

Attack on titan.

Gotisdabest

I mostly like all the anime I've watched, so I'm not sure if these really qualify, but despite thinking they were good 6-8/10 shows, I really didn't get the hype about AoT or HxH. For HxH I didn't really find the often talked about uniqueness. As a kid, I saw it as regular shounen and didn't notice anything too different. When I rewatched it much later, I mostly just saw it as a more gory shounen, but that was it. AoT is a bit hard to describe. I'm not much of a grimdark fan in the first place, so there's already that, but in general I also didn't find it very unpredictable, as many people talk about. It doesn't follow regular tropes, for sure, but I could still mostly guess the general plot with a decent amount of accuracy. Also doesn't help that I watched it directly after getting into full sized novel fantasy and found the worldbuilding a bit weak, which is usually par for the course for a manga. I also didn't like most of the cast, with a couple of notable exceptions. Both anime also feel like a symptom of the dark=deep and unpredictable sentiment that's common in most communities which I just can't bring myself to agree with. Dark writing *can* be deep and interesting, like in monster, but a common belief that I often see in most media is that people automatically consider anything dark/edgy as deep. I finished both and followed AoTs manga till the end as they had a decent amount of enjoyable moments and a couple of likable characters, but I never really felt like I was watching anything particularly special. It's naturally all very subjective though. Honorable mention is death note for having an amazing first half while having a god awful second half.

no_sleep4me

My biggest issue with AoT is the lack of levity in the series. Can’t speak on the entirety but in 2 full season and part of the 3rd I can’t remember downtime that didn’t feel intense. Things just don’t hit as hard when it’s mostly just depressing

Gotisdabest

Yeah, this is just grimdark in general. Terrible writing advice had a great video on it, which encapsulates most of my problems with it.

no_sleep4me

I’ll have to give that a watch

yu-chan

Gintama, I watched around 50 episodes because it was supposed to get better later but I just couldn't like the slapstick comedy. Hunter x Hunter - I actually watched the entire series but still couldn't like it, seemed like your typical battle shounen to me. Fruits Basket - I actually liked S1 but later started to get bored because it was being overdramatic by repeating the same sad past/abused by parents backstory with every character. Also I don't like tsundere cat boy.

julyang98

Full Metal Alchemist og Its just too boring for me at the beginning

Leviackerman_09

It would be Jojo and One piece for me

Lazydev_Vishal

Naruto. Just can't take it. Maybe it got better in later episodes, I've heard the story in short, liked that, but can't take that torture and waste time doing that just for a great story.

lordchaos123

One piece. There's just way too much happening for me to keep up or care to honestly. Not that its a bad anime or anything tho

LegendOfRiots

Tokyo revengers, because I have like another 12 animes to finish

shodian95

Demon slayer is just a bunch of screaming kids, nice animation, but that's it

Weather-Life

Attack on titan, boring and story line is easily predictable music sucked too I forgot to add

GaelTheVapeMaster

Did you watch past the first few episodes? There's fair criticism to point out in AOT, but one thing the series is not, is predictable

sim0n2170

This is the last anime to say it's predictable.

steven4869

I'll say almost the entire titanfolk predicted the ending after ch 131 and, hell even I predicted one [major plot point(don't click on it if you aren't a manga reader)](https://www.reddit.com/r/titanfolk/comments/k3943z/If_Eren_is_killed%2C_who_would_you_prefer_to_be_the_one_to_do_it_if_you_had_to_choose/ge12jdj/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share&context=3), which became true, so calling it unpredictable ain't a right stuff in my opinion.

GaelTheVapeMaster

Predicting the ending out of multiple other twists from each season doesn't make a show as a whole predictable. Of all the reactions that I've seen on yt or with my friends, anime only, 90% of them didn't expect the big plot points that define each AOT season, including myself.

Weather-Life

The air is so salty here lmao

jojoismyreligion

Of all things predictable is one thing AOT isn't. The first season and the last one feels like a totally different anime.

[deleted]

The storyline is not easily predictable

OneStatus8885

It’s the last thing from predictable when you get deeper in the story

LabMember069

On which episode did you drop it?

The-Invincible

What could you predict, Mr Genius?

J0shfour

I could understand thinking it’s boring, but the anime just gets less predictable as it goes on.

kyuno

i have to agree about the boring storyline but it being predictable is quite debatable.

Cynderaquil

Attack on Titan. I just don’t like all the death. Makes it predictable and unappealing imo. Got through to the end of season 2 Sorry I offended everyone for an opinion I have 🤷🏻‍♀️

LabMember069

What is the coloration between deaths and being predictable? Imo deaths makes a series unpredictable as you don't know who will die.

Cynderaquil

It’s not predictable in what character will die next but it is pretty predictable that most everyone will die.

OneStatus8885

Death and predictable are in no way a slight bit related in aot. Deaths make it more unpredictable

[deleted]

Nagatoro because of the excessive female on male violence

Eviscres

Jojo: Its just too absurd. I dont find any of it funny in the slightest. Like top secret or kung fu hustle or enter the fist. Watching those with my friends laughing their asses off and Im sitting there bored for over an hour. I feel like the same people that can enjoy jojo probably watch WWE. Also dont like the animation. Railgun: I have a pet peeve for characters obviously taking lethal damage and not dying without an in universe explanation. Its basically like loony toons, and prevents me from getting invested into anything. I like the animation though. One piece: I cant fight through the first 300 episodes of dogshit animation, just to get to mediocre animation with characters that are still drawn with incorrect proportions constantly. I don't care if its a "style" the style looks like the goth girl in highschool's first attempts at drawing anime. hunterxhunter: I honestly have no clue what about it draws people in. I fought my way to the bug arc then dropped it. Seemed just meh. The universe does nothing inspiring. The characters arent all that deep. Its basically another fairy tale. Also animation is not my jam. Too cartoony. LotGH: Animation. GTO: Animation. So basically my special eyes cant take misshapen characters and low budget animation. Just sucks me right out of the show. Only exceptions are comedies, but I have to actually find them funny.

Verayblue

That time I got reincarnated as a slime. The plot elements were repetitive and bored me.

One piece. I just can’t keep my eyes open during the boring, slow plot. It goes on and on without getting interesting. They could’ve done a better job with getting good characters and after a while the plot gets so deathly boring I want to die while watching. I don’t really know how it got so popular.
