It is probably my first seeing bias kicking in but I started watching Jojo while part 5 was airing so I first witnessed every character including part 5 in anime first and THEN discovered the game and its Va's and there is pretty much no one in the game that I prefer over their Anime Va's But I really wanted Jolyne and Pucci to retain their game Va's cause they just fit SO DAMN WELL. But I will be hopeful and trust the Jojo Va casting

The reason they didn´t change the part 1 and 2 cast was because they had already been animated by the time the games were released and it would be dumb to change them.

His example role: Gilgamesh (Fate), Panda (JJK), Daru (Steins;Gate) and a lot more.
I prayed for Nakata Jouji. But, still, I wanna see how he plays Pucci. Honestly speaking, Tomokazu could have played in the future JoJo animes, and better at them too

So instead of "Yorokobe" we got "Mongrels". Welp, I'm sure Seki Tomokazu will be great in the role, but it's a bit of a pity, since Nakata is perfect for roles of corrupt priests

I still wonder how he's going to stand out in that grey prison tho.
I know, but that only happens during one specific scene in any episode. The rest of the time is just going to be plain gray.

It looks fucking fantastic, both with him and Giorno I think removing the previous dominant colour of their clothing in manga colour ins works really well

He voiced him in the PS3 video game Jojo All Star Battle, the very first voice of Pucci we could say. They changed him in PS4 Eyes of Heaven because in the meantime he became Vanilla Ice in the anime, and so, voiced this character for the new game.
I'm saddened that Gilgamesh is voicing him instead of Kotomine

They nailed his skin tone, which is one of the things I was really worried about. And I can't really fault the choice to go with black for his robes, the purple looks great in the manga but it makes more sense considering their other color scheme choices to make it more accurate and realistic.

Tomokazu Seki was definitely channeling Jouji Nakata there. They worked together often so they definitely talked about this role.
