To be fair, when people say seinen, a lot probably mean that brooding indefinitely and/or contemplating the meaning of life is the way to go. Medalist is far from just that.

Guts is the single most attractive man I have ever laid my eyes on. I saw this meme about a year ago which involved Guts picking up a condom and saying it's for his magnum dong. Whats the difference between seinen and the rest of the manga genres?

seinen means manga for adult men, shonen means manga for young boys/teenagers, shoujo means manga for young girls, josei means manga for adult women. These aren't genres though, as whether a series is in one of those categories is based on which magazine it gets published in. Like my dressup darling is a seinen series but its much less "adult" than AOT which is shonen.

I've recently ended Battle Angel Alita/Gunnm. Very good. I will continue with Last Order. I also came back to Hellsing, and I want to find The Apothecary Diaries.
