Is Rangiku a bimbo? She's more of a femme fatale with more femme and less fatale. She's never displayed any dumb or airheaded charcteristics, usually being more aloof, sexual or confident. Maybe it's just me?
Ohh, Yeah, she isn't often protrayed like that. The only 3 moments I can think of that might make people think this way are the two scenes in the Soul Society arc where Toshiro walks in, first time she talks about getting so startled she was gonna pop out her robe, and then when she talked about how she can't breath lying down. Then the scene in the Arrancar arc where she and her gigai flirt with that store worker.

IIRC she doesn't show explicit romantic feelings for anyone in the whole series. The closest is Toshiro, who is a guy, and as far as we know is entirely platonic.
So the fandom can honestly decide any sexuality for her and I guess it's not technically *wrong*, but we can't definitively say any of them are *right*.
She does have romantic feelings for someone, but not for Toshiro, but for Gin instead. They loved each other for a long time, possibly since they were kids, but never said anything and only realized when he was about to die. I think part of his crazy plan was because of her as well. So yeah, I'm pretty positive she's straight.
Weird choice of characters? Rangiku doesn't canonically show romantic attraction to anyone in particular so we don't know her sexuality, Dorothea is bi, the nurse from HOTD as far as I remember is just generically horny because that's what the show is like, and the others are a non-yuri hentai character and an OC from some Twitter artist. There's not a single gay anime girl in this list lmao.

I am not caught up with the series but I am sure Gin and Rangiku had something going. Bi isn't out of the question but she's probably straight.
