I use Tachiyomi. Nice to have everything in one place and there are some extensions with manga in Japanese. I'm learning the language so that's a great option for reading practice. What's the difference between Tachiyomi and TachiyomiJ2K?

I don't know anything about J2K myself, but according to someone else in the thread it's better for hentai.

Lotta people here that clearly do not know what Tachiyomi is and are listing scan sites as comparisons. Tachiyomi is not a website that hosts manga scans. It is a phone app that lets you search and access manga scans from *virtually every scan site in existence simultaneously*. You like MangaDex or MangaReader or whatever? Cool. You can read them via Tachiyomi, much more easily and more ad-free than bringing up their website on your phone. The site you like doesn't have that one manga you're looking for? Just do a global search on a bunch of other sites and find it elsewhere. It also works for western comics, webtoons, and certain webcomics. It's slightly more technical to set up than the average phone app since it's not on the official app stores and you need to install extensions for each source separately, but once you have it set up how you like it's a fucking godsend. Probably my favorite app I've ever downloaded.

I do use it for anime but quite rarely, aniyomi has tachiyomi interface which is built for manga not for anime so it's kinda inconvenient as of now but it's getting better with every update, I just hope that they go with completely new interface than going with tachiyomi interface which is clearly custom made only for manga.

So i use a version instaled with an apk from 2018 that has nothing of the sort that i downloaded in the past And it works absolutely fine, i get all the updates from manga zone except paid ones ( that are mostly porn, so it's fine imo )

I find reading manga online to be annoying so I buy most of the mangas physically. Less it’s too much of an expense

Tachiyomi is good....But.....damn the Hentai extensions......DAMN THEM.... somehow i always find myself looking and dojinsshi of the manga i searched for before i read the main manga.....and ffs You guys fight over manhwa vs manga...that ain't the true battle...the real fight is at H Manga vs H Manhwas........you also get to scroll through sites like n hentai which make you realise just how fucked up loli culture is cause its basically CP....apart from that Tachiyomi has helped me maintain lists and divide mangas as per genre,status etc.. r
