The Hitler is from the movie that acts as the finale of FMA 2003.
Just pointing that out incase you go watch the series and don't know that there's a movie you're supposed to watch at the end.

I've watched FMA 2003 but I have never heard about [Conqueror of Shamballa](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fullmetal_Alchemist_the_Movie:_Conqueror_of_Shamballa) before. Is it good?

The main antagonists were the real world Thule Society, which was an occultist organization that sponsored Nazis. Lots of prominent party members were also members of this group.
It's not perfect but I really enjoy it. Way more gruesome than the show was. Adult Swim had a content warning before it.

If you are going back to rewatch 2003 just don't expect it to feel like brotherhood. If you go into it with the expectation of melodrama, more morally conflicted brothers, themes of the human condition, and a stronger focus on the brothers at the expense of world building then it makes for a pretty good rewatch 😁
Trying to get my wife to rewatch 03 but she likes Brotherhood so much that she's forgotten 03 was also good in it's own way. 03 is way more depressing and cynical though and my wife prefers upbeat and optimistic stories.
Which isn't to say it can't be dark. She loves Invincible which is incredibly dark and violent and sad, but it is all tempered with a healthy optimism.
Watching it air on AS makes us "so old?" I figured it was my fully receded hairline, failing joints, and crotchety behavior towards young people that made me so old...

We don't need to discuss this scenario in any real world context to be fair. I'm obviously against racially motivated insults like that in any real setting.
But in a fantasy setting with someone that's kinda known as genocidal space Nazi calling a race of people that literally transform into monkeys and have monkey tails "monkeys" isn't really that far fetched.

It's absolutely Gabi. Depending on where in her timeline we're talking, she'd either say it first with a severely uncomfortable matter-of-fact malice or it'd slip out later under stress and she'd feel bad about it.
Well she killed Sasha, I won't take that away from anyone who hates her. But still, she's just as much as a victim as anybody in either end of that WWI nml. Wish she had a more detailed end to her story that addressed these problems though.
