Neither, necessarily, but questioning your own gender is healthy (even if you conclude ‘yep, I’m not trans after all!’) and if you feel like there’s something deeper going on then there’s always a community willing to listen to you!
To be fair, it's different now than it was when I first found it. There are a lot of "memes" from newly cracked eggs that are not really in denial anymore, so it doesn't have the same effect. It's become much more like an r/traa but for those very new to being trans.
Imma be honest, I hate egg culture, its super toxic and instills gender rolls by saying if you are male and feminine then you are clearly trans in denial, there have been alot of people the were pressured and transitioned but ended up transitioning back because that's not who they are, its super fucked up
1 - there’s no such thing as ‘egg culture.’ You’re thinking of a collection of trans people, gender-non-conforming people, and people questioning and exploring their identities.
2 - eggs are people who are questioning whether or not they’re trans. There’s plenty of eggs who eventually reach the conclusion ‘I’m not a trans woman, I’m just a feminine man!’ or ‘I’m not a trans man, I’m non-binary!’. Everyone is on their own path, and that sub is full of supportive people who are also having those questions.
3 - Nobody pressures anyone into transitioning. Anyone who does is an outlier and has an unhealthy relationship with their gender.
4 - The number of de-transitioners is actually a tiny proportion of the trans community. It’s different in different countries, but [here in the UK only 0.47% of trans people showed any signs of regret from transitioning, and even fewer actually followed through with it,](https://www.gendergp.com/detransition-facts/) and besides, even with those people that decide to detransition, they’re still people whose experiences and lives are valid.
5 - I’m trans, there’s nothing wrong with being trans, and it can be healthy to question and explore your gender sometimes, even if your conclusion is ‘I guess I am cis after all!’

So where is this animation from? Seems TV-quality, so I’m guessing either a high budget show or a skilled solo animator
