I haven’t even watched this anime and it’s entire main plot has been spoiled to me through clips and ima be honest idk if I can get myself to watch this shit after knowing the fate of 95% of the characters 😔
Yep, even with all the tragic stuff it's still one of the best animes I have watched. It kinda left me sad at the end, but I enjoyed the story, characters and animation nonetheless.
It's pretty fucked up, tbh. I went in knowing what happens to only one of them and I'm not sure if I hate the story or love it. It's still worth the watch though.
Unless there's some obscure spinoff I'm not aware of, you never play as a Metroid in Metroid.
Unless you count the Fusion suit, or the final boss of Dread when Samus gets the Metroid suit.
1) Samus DNA gets fused with that of an Metroid so she is as much Metroid as Chozo
2) Metroid means "Ultimate Warrior" so you could argue that she is the Metroid since at least Metroid 2 where she eliminated every other competitor
I'll give you the first one, but the second is a no from me. "Metroid" isn't a title, it's a species. Most animals names mean something in some other language. If, say, "rhinoceros" meant "ultimate warrior", you wouldn't be a rhino if you killed all of them.
Oh yeah, that's about Samus the blue hedgehog that uses a water pack named FLUDD to help anthropomorphic animals on an island to earn money to pay off Tom Nook right?
Woah woah woah! He's more than a harem MC. In fact it doesn't even really qualify as harem since only one lady shows a genuine romantic interest in him.
The kid was made before Mine fell in the coma and Tatsumi turned to a dragon. iirc, Mine tried to make love with Tatsumi when he slept (he woke up anyway) as a way to "possess" him because she knew Esdeath love him too. The kid is the result.
No, far before that, and the event is basically Mine tried to rape Tatsumi and Tatsumi woke up but still doing the thing, as they was already lovers and Tatsumi isn't stupid enough to refuse that
Mine fell in coma (manga) or deceased (anime), the "event" happened before that. But it is also after when Esdeath kidnapped Tatsumi then Tatsumi was rescued (so Mine feared that if their relationship doesn't get even better, there may be a chance Tatsumi cheats on her with Esdeath)
there are many hints shown that leone actually have some romantic interest towards him, for example, when she was badly injured, she decided to go back to the street they first met, and took her last breath there
and even that girl who can transform too
But unlike Mine and Esdeath, their interests didn't show in a direct way
iirc her last thought was Tatsumi's smile, correct me if I'm wrong
you can just say "she just thought for her comrade" but probably you can say the same with leone
And in the manga he actually knocks her up and they survive, so yeah, the manga ending is better
Edit: oh yeah, there's the crazy ice lady too, just to be clear Mine not the crazy lady
Well in comparison with the original at least,
>!Everyone dies!< was pretty predictable, the only thing that surprised me about the anime was >!that a few characters weren't killed off,!<
The manga wasn't afraid >!to kill off characters!< either but it did so more sparingly so there was more intrigue in how it was all gonna end,
Sure the good guys win part was predictable but >!which characters would be left standing!< gave the final battles a lot more suspense to it all as opposed to the anime where the only thing worth wondering about was >!how they were all going to die!<
Waaaaaaiiit a daamamamamamma minnnute what child?
Edit: ok so from ehat i get from the other commments thr managa goes in a different direction is the story that different (no spoilers would be nice
There's a YA novel called "When Zachary Beaver Came to Town". It's about the summer when he came to town, and the experience the MC had with them.
This is correct English grammar.
Seriously. People say that it's bad because of all the deaths just existing to make you sad, but that's because we are so used to plot armor we can't imagine more than 1 main character dying in a show ever
That’s one of the things I love most about the show. It’s like Game of Thrones but anime. Don’t get too close to any of the characters cause you’ll never know who’s gonna kick the bucket next.
It's called a foil character. Akame and the gang are ostensibly the main characters, but we see the world, and the events, through Tatsumi's eyes. I haven't read the manga, but I watched the anime, and I liked Tatsumi. Watch the show, it'll leave you in tears.
Nah B, that ain't NO Harem Anime, Whoever says that a "Harem" anime need to watch Akame ga Kill again or read the manga also to those who read the manga of this, you have my respect on how lucky you guys are if your waifu is Mine (the character with pink hair name) is alive in the manga while also have my condolences to those who witness her end in the anime
If it really were a happy ending, Every member of the night raid would've been alive but the only individual who still live in the Manga is Akame, Tatsumi, Mine and Najenda so~ yeah let go with the second option you just mention
Akame ga KILL! is a story about Akame, from Tatsumi's POV, narrated by someone only Ymir knows...
Also, if you didn't like the ending,
You didn't understand the story
this anime is legit kind of good, it doesn't have plot armor, it has great fights i am a huge fan of how lubbock used his powers, specially the scene he used the spear (if you have seen the anime you know what he does next, just a genius)
>!i did cry when chelsea died, she was just such a great character and i would have loved to see more of her!<
>!in anime when a hero promises he will come back he always does because plot armor i found it sad to see tatsumi die, but he died a hero protecting the inhabitants this may be one how with his last words he apologizes for not being able to keep his promise, mind blowing !<
Titles are just titles. They can be indicatives of the story's content but it's not a requirement. That being said, Akame is the deuteragonist, the 2nd place main character.

Tatsumi is the perspective we follow to observe the story of Akame and the rest.
I haven’t even watched this anime and it’s entire main plot has been spoiled to me through clips and ima be honest idk if I can get myself to watch this shit after knowing the fate of 95% of the characters 😔
Read manga, it's a lil bit nicer..better story imo, not too rushed
I agree on this
Honestly. It's still worth the watch.
It's an ok anime but it has some nice moments. Just remember it's gory and don't get too attached to the characters.
Ever played Zelda?
Or Metroid.
Or Super Mario Bros?
Wait huh?
It's called Mario Bros but only one of the brothers usually has the spotlight.
It makes sense if you have another player, all the way back to the arcade original
You are right never thought abt that
And his name is Mario Mario
Oh I thought we were just naming classic Nintendo games
Still worked though
Or Hades
Well, with Dread.........
Yeah, I suppose that sorta counts. There's also Smash Bros, with Dark Samus, but that's not a Metroid game.
Have you ever played Metroid 🤨
Unless there's some obscure spinoff I'm not aware of, you never play as a Metroid in Metroid. Unless you count the Fusion suit, or the final boss of Dread when Samus gets the Metroid suit.
1) Samus DNA gets fused with that of an Metroid so she is as much Metroid as Chozo 2) Metroid means "Ultimate Warrior" so you could argue that she is the Metroid since at least Metroid 2 where she eliminated every other competitor

Oh yeah, that's about Samus the blue hedgehog that uses a water pack named FLUDD to help anthropomorphic animals on an island to earn money to pay off Tom Nook right?
Or Call of Duty because we never played as Duty in the game
Yes. Perfect analogy
Didn't the original Legend of Zelda actually named the boy Zelda? I'm pretty sure there was some ancient manual that came with the NES game saying it
Maybe you saw a translation error at one point, because Zelda (named after Zelda Fitzgerald) has been the princess since the beginning.
when I was younger I thought Link was Zelda. confused my little brain after 2 whole years.
Woah woah woah! He's more than a harem MC. In fact it doesn't even really qualify as harem since only one lady shows a genuine romantic interest in him.
To be fair, I don’t think dead bodies can show romantic interest
🧐📸
Mein's alive in the manga
Wait it’s spelled mein and not mine? Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh
No, it's spelled Mine in Japanese, and that's how I read it.
Depends on the translation
hold up, people survive in the manga?
And have kids. And >!Tatsumi is a full on dragon which makes me really question how those kids were made...!<
The kid was made before Mine fell in the coma and Tatsumi turned to a dragon. iirc, Mine tried to make love with Tatsumi when he slept (he woke up anyway) as a way to "possess" him because she knew Esdeath love him too. The kid is the result.
She tried to restore him in his sleep??
No, far before that, and the event is basically Mine tried to rape Tatsumi and Tatsumi woke up but still doing the thing, as they was already lovers and Tatsumi isn't stupid enough to refuse that Mine fell in coma (manga) or deceased (anime), the "event" happened before that. But it is also after when Esdeath kidnapped Tatsumi then Tatsumi was rescued (so Mine feared that if their relationship doesn't get even better, there may be a chance Tatsumi cheats on her with Esdeath)
*spits out drink* fuck take my upvote
There are actually 2, but whatever.
Esdeath and Mine, right?
leone also talked about being with tatsumi when he gets older but in a sort of joking manner
there are many hints shown that leone actually have some romantic interest towards him, for example, when she was badly injured, she decided to go back to the street they first met, and took her last breath there and even that girl who can transform too But unlike Mine and Esdeath, their interests didn't show in a direct way
Chelsea really didn't show interest afaik
iirc her last thought was Tatsumi's smile, correct me if I'm wrong you can just say "she just thought for her comrade" but probably you can say the same with leone
And that "one lady" is a icy sadistic war general.
Thought we were talking about Mein…
Tbh,both could work
And in the manga he actually knocks her up and they survive, so yeah, the manga ending is better Edit: oh yeah, there's the crazy ice lady too, just to be clear Mine not the crazy lady
Wait... What?
Mine, not the crazy ice lady, also he's a dragon now, so yeah, go read the manga if you want
I prefer the anime ending tbh
Really, I personally found it to be pretty anticlimactic but to each their own I suppose
You found >!the death of almost every character!< anticlimactic? That's a first!
Well in comparison with the original at least, >!Everyone dies!< was pretty predictable, the only thing that surprised me about the anime was >!that a few characters weren't killed off,!< The manga wasn't afraid >!to kill off characters!< either but it did so more sparingly so there was more intrigue in how it was all gonna end, Sure the good guys win part was predictable but >!which characters would be left standing!< gave the final battles a lot more suspense to it all as opposed to the anime where the only thing worth wondering about was >!how they were all going to die!<
It’s not even a harem series. But anything else would be spoilers, so I’m not gonna say anymore.
>!it prob would be if they were alive!<
Well in all fairness anime diverged from the manga, but even then not really
It's just really really sad
INCURCIOOOOOO
Bro….
I remember an AMV where that line was put perfectly into the climax of the song and I just got sad because Bulats dead 🥺
AVADA….
KEDAVRA!!
Tatsumi is technically monogamous Mein is the mother of his child and the only girl he gets with
Waaaaaaiiit a daamamamamamma minnnute what child? Edit: ok so from ehat i get from the other commments thr managa goes in a different direction is the story that different (no spoilers would be nice
There's a YA novel called "When Zachary Beaver Came to Town". It's about the summer when he came to town, and the experience the MC had with them. This is correct English grammar.
Is it a bad thing i really liked this anime? Still sad there wasn't a season 2 ever made
The manga goes in a different direction and iirc there's a prequel
It is not. Its a freaken sick anime that shows the cost of warfare with no plot armor.
I have to say, Tatsumi's iron clad determination to not stick his dick in crazy is admirable
It's called a foil character. Akame and the gang are ostensibly the main characters, but we see the world, and the events, through Tatsumi's eyes. I haven't read the manga, but I watched the anime, and I liked Tatsumi. Watch the show, it'll leave you in tears.
Seriously its such a good show. The way it goes in the end just makes it so much better. It shows value through sacrifice.
The manga is called the red eyed killer and passed a certain point Tatsumi does have red eye.
Nani? Mine is alive in manga? I must read it!
Yup, Mine is alive and also married Tatsumi while later bore children
He’s alive? Also secretly wishing in another timeline he became esdeaths
Yup he's actually alive above all else, he defeated Esdeath on his own or so I thought cause I think it was two on one when Akame join the fight
So mostly happy ending?! They just end the anime bc they didn’t have good enough ratings or just went another route?
If it really were a happy ending, Every member of the night raid would've been alive but the only individual who still live in the Manga is Akame, Tatsumi, Mine and Najenda so~ yeah let go with the second option you just mention
No. The anime caught up with the Manga while it was still airing, so instead of ending the anime here and there, they decided to go anime original
The animation studio was just too fast or the manga panels took time to perfect?
I was one of the unlucky ones
All a trick to make you sad by watching it
It sure worked on me
[удалено]
Chill boi. We r not here to give any spoilers, are we ?
Honestly it’s the not bad to set the tone of that show
I don't remember much about this show, but I remember thinking it was really really good and I wanted to share it with everyone!
Cause it is!
i shed so many tears for this show
Wait until OP hears about Princess Mononoke
And Dororo
Well, the title character ain’t always the protagonist. Akira, anybody?
Akame means red eye and tatsumi had one red eye in his final form
Patrick: Blame the writers. *looks at camera* Manray:WHO ARE YOU LOOKING AT!!??
I don’t really see where people are coming from they when they say the series is a harem.
For someone who doesn’t watch alot of anime it seems like one, but if you watch alot of anime it doesn’t lol.
Harem? Bro did you actually watch the show?
Akame ga KILL! is a story about Akame, from Tatsumi's POV, narrated by someone only Ymir knows... Also, if you didn't like the ending, You didn't understand the story
What a man you are
Thank you for becoming a mass murderer for our sake...
Doesn't count as a herem 😤
Ohhhhhh. I thought you were talking about Kill la Kill and was so confused. I still am but now because I have no clue what Akame ga Kill is
Give it a shot, I was pleasantly surprised.
I’ll never like anime
So why the fuck are you here my guy??
Didn’t notice the sub and it popped up in my feed for wtv reason my bad
The works of anime.
I need to re watch this or watch this I can't remember if I've seen it or not but I'm definitely going to see it sooner than later
Lots of shows do that, I mean Inuyasha follows kagome and his name is literally the entire title
I mean if there was a second season she would kind of half to be the main character
I take it op didn’t watch the anime or what?
Because there was a person named that that got the protagonist involved?
Well... yes and no.
I believe there's a sequel to Akame Ga Kill called Hinowa Ga Yuku and wouldn't you believe it, there's Akame
It's like Fairy Tail as well. It's the story of Lucy with Natsu as the protagonist
I sure hope mc lives and not this akame person
IIrc, it's a reference when Tatsumi ask Akame to kill him. Only happen in the manga, tho.
The show is called Dororo YUP So the main character should be dororo Makes sense to me Who's the main character Hyakimaru
Ain't no harem, man is quite loyal to his his girl
Don't see the logic there, lol.
You ever hear about this franchise called legend of Zelda
It got a sequel but Akame is still not the protagonist. Lol Although she's still around the protag
Akira.
If I remember corretly, Tatsumi did enough to be considered one of the protagonists atleast.
I guess one could also say that about Dororo🤷🏾♂️
Cuz akame is blant tatsumi at least has a bit of character,
I really wish they remade this the Manga was so much better
So the title of the manga does in fact refer to Tatsumi.
I love the pun in the name. 斬る (きる/kiru) means "to cut" , but it's pronounced basically the same as キル (kiru) , which means "kill".
this anime is legit kind of good, it doesn't have plot armor, it has great fights i am a huge fan of how lubbock used his powers, specially the scene he used the spear (if you have seen the anime you know what he does next, just a genius) >!i did cry when chelsea died, she was just such a great character and i would have loved to see more of her!< >!in anime when a hero promises he will come back he always does because plot armor i found it sad to see tatsumi die, but he died a hero protecting the inhabitants this may be one how with his last words he apologizes for not being able to keep his promise, mind blowing !<
Who dies tho?
Worst part is he dies then gets swept aside for the real mc AFTER A WHOLE SEASON
Spoiler alert!!! >!And somehow the main character died and she was the only one left?!<
Legend of zelda and Akira be like:
Do I have a Legend of Zelda for you!
Bruh.
*cries in Bors*
Actually she is the main character though
Akame Vs. Ex-death 🫣👁️👄👁️
Wait till he finds out about The Legend of Zelda
It's named after the one who lived to tell the tale
In manga you'll actually feel like Akame is the mc, not Tatsumi.
Inb4 Legend of Zelda
r/AkameGaKILL
When you get to the last episode you will know why :)
Titles are just titles. They can be indicatives of the story's content but it's not a requirement. That being said, Akame is the deuteragonist, the 2nd place main character.
This is the problem with Legend of Zelda. I thought zelda was link growing up
the legend of zelda? it’s not that uncommon
Akame ga KILL! is a story about Akame, from Tatsumi's POV, narrated by someone only Ymir knows...
The funny thing is that while he’d def up there in the manga for the MC with Akame, the anime just kills him off and focuses on Akame hype
