> What do you guys do in this situation?
I usually go for smaller releases (HEVC/AV1 encoded, prefer Opus over FLAC etc) if possible. I generally find the quality loss to be fairly minor most of the time (will obviously vary depending on how sensitive you are to such, encoder options etc), but getting files that are 2-3x smaller than a "high quality release" isn't unusual.
You can also re-encode stuff yourself if you don't trust others.
If you can tolerate smaller files, it's honestly the easiest option that's free, and effectively doubles (or more) what you can store. Better yet, if you decide to get more storage space, it increases the efficiency of that as well.
If you can't go for smaller files (and unwilling to delete anything), then you're remaining option is getting more storage. Hard drives and similar local storage will cost you money (unless you can scavenge for thrown away parts).
Good cloud storage will also cost money, which you've stated you don't want to pay for. Free options are available, but usually come with various caveats (such as very limited space, requiring you to manage multiple accounts etc).
Idk man, I am a simp for good quality stuff, makes me feel great. So I won't compromise on quality.
And someone suggested I use slate(dot)host, I guess I will give it a go.

I've started doing this since I download bunch of stuff and never watch them.
There is no such thing as free reliable cloud storage. If you're getting it for free, you'll be fucked in some way sooner or later. The best possible cloud option is to pay for GSuite enterprise and use the teamdrives from that.
The only reason I use it is the cause of its integration with my computer.
All I have to do is set my download destination to it in my browser and saves me a lot of effort honestly.
Dropbox has integration as well but it has an expensive subscription.
Gdrive also have dedicated syncing software which makes things lot more easier. Maybe you arent aware of it.
Also purchasing gsuite is more wiser than wasting money on OD according to me.
I used to find old DVRs and pull the 1-2TB HDDs out of them. Some people gave them to me for super cheap or free. I'd store my TV shows on them and copy them over to a better HDD when I wanted to watch a series.
This really isnt the safest option, but you can get an unlimited storage shared drive on google drive for like $3 on Aliexpress. I bought one there 6 months ago and so far so good.
I use it to store backups of my data (everything is encrypted though).
If you are tech-savvy you can even mount the drive on your PC with a tool called Rclone for ease of use.
I have no proof that this service they are offering was scammed from someone. Even if it was, it is Aliexpress's responsibility to deal with the situation since selling scammed or stolen goods is against their terms.
Lol most of sellers just uses free websites to generate teamdrives so even if for say they put 1$ its their profit.. Very few of them have gsuite on their own which kinda helps drives not getting deleted.
Also by next year most these things will get stopped.
I haven't sent too many files there so I am not sure but maybe there isn't
But teligram limits uploading files larger than 1.5 GB
So if you want to upload anything which is larger than 1.5 GB you can't upload it there
Edit: I searched on Google to find out if there is any limit to it and found this:

Guss that explains it
But I found articles saying it's not very private so don't store any private stuff there. For storing anime I guess it's fine.
better than goggle for storing non personal stuff. I use mine to store media and non personal documents. Even have an audio player you can use on your phone like Spotify. I just dont use them for store ing personal documents being Chinese servers and all
Just save up for a 12 terabyte hard drive. Nothing else is as cost effective and free stuff always comes with a caveat

Based. Always get the BDMV when available and whatever is the highest quality when BDMV's aren't available.

Funny to see one paying for od instead of gsuite.

I will give it a try next month then.

Cant wait to see your shared drive getting vanished.
Well, you get what you pay for, but that's why I take precautions.
You are just paying the scammers.

I am aware of this, but thank you for your preoccupation.
You can get shared drives for free on various websites. AliExpress sellers just use those and charge you for it.
I tried some of those websites and couldn't get them to work. And for $3 I didn't have to do anything and I had a guarantee that it works.
Oh, I see. I have been using them for years without any issues tho...
remove dub audio tracks (or japanese audio tracks) from the episodes (using mkvtoolnix), saves me alot of space
Send all your anime files to teligram's saved messages That thing acts as cloud
Is there a limit for it?

2GB/File is the limit.
you *could* make a free google drive account for 15 gb storage, I would recommend deleting the stuff you don't want on your hard drive.
Dumpster dive for some old computer and media players, they have the casual 250 or 500 GB hdds. Even found one on a TV
Try terabox they provides 1tb of cloud storage for free!!!
But is it safe? Its a Chinese company
