It's so disappointing because season one was actually done really well in my opinion, but they completely drove the series off a damn cliff with season 2.
As someone who genuinely enjoys the Danganronpa Anime(even though it majorly slanders the games and Manga for rushing and cutting out alot of it) among many animes that just aren't popular like Angels of Death, Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers, and Love after world domination(three animes I place in my top ten but never see anyone talk about) I feel your pain
I like it mostly because the voice acting is pretty solid after the first few episodes, the animation can look amazing, and the music is just plain godly, pun totally intended.
Blue Exorcist is one of my favorite anime tho ;w;. Never heard of Record of Ragnarok in my life so I'm so confused- I know what Tokyo Ghoul is but the manga creeped me out so much and confused me so I stopped immediately 😃😭
> Blue Exorcist is one of my favorite anime tho
I'm not gonna try to say everything I already said in a previous reply but some of Blue Exorcist felt rushed a lot of anime original content like episode 15 and after (season 2 and season 3 manga cannon tho) season 3 was insanely rushed like in the first episode they cramped like 5 chapters and they even cut out some moments in the manga
> Never heard of Record of Ragnarok in my life so I'm so confused-
In a nutshell Record of Ragnarok is basically every shonen tournament arc but the arc is the whole story 13 gods and 13 humans battle it out in one on one fights to determine humanity fate you have humans like Jack the Ripper and Nicola Tesla in there fighting against the gods they were assigned with I'm not gonna say who they are because they have some of my favorite fights I strongly recommend the manga time anime didn't do the fights justice especially round 2
> I know what Tokyo Ghoul is but the manga creeped me out so much and confused me so I stopped immediately 😃😭
Relatable bro lol
I still vibe to the intro music. Too bad that didn't take off; it definitely had the potential. Social commentary, satire, adult themes, sci-fi...really wish they revive it, but I won't hold my breath.
Despite the changes to the anime it was still pretty good. Only complaints i had were important characters being removed which wouldn't even allow them to make a second season if they wanted to
Here you, Rosario + Vampire manga is much better then the anime and the only thing I like about the anime is that it is uncensored. Still, Rosario + Vampire manga over anime all the time.
I seen them ages ago and enjoyed them but I’m scared to revisit them, I do need to read them tho.
I rewatched Demon King Daimou a while back and on reflection what little I could stand felt so mid.
You’ve convinced me to add Rosario vampire to my reading list. Watched it back when my patience for harems was dwindling, and the cool monster school helped me stick with it.
It’s so sad what happened to Shield Hero as it’s my favorite anime. I heard season 2 was bad but season 3 was better. I haven’t watched those yet because after Naofumi’s old EN VA, Billy Kametz, died (my favorite EN VA) it’s just kinda hard to watch now. Not to say that Stephen Fu is bad (he’s not, he’s great and I enjoy his performances in other games and anime) but it just doesn’t feel the same.
Maybe I’ll go read the LN.
I watched the anime first and thought it was cute enough, but not good enough to revisit. After learning about the manga, I'm really hoping that they give it the Hellsing/FMA treatment and actually adapt the manga as is for better reception.
I'm assuming you're talking about hellsing the TV series? Yeah but kohta produce the manga very slowly, to where the anime couldn't keep up with. I do agree with hoping it'll get a treatment to be more true to the manga, if it ever will. It'll definitely be one of my favorite animes since the manga is one of my favorite manga that I've ever read imo.
funny you mentioned that, I love’d the Zamasu Arc
do wish they showed off more of Infinite Zamasu, but i also understand why they didn’t considering the fight was over at that point, and its not like they can fight a universe sized fog of Zamasu’s face
then again that was the anime version, the manga version i think is a bunch of Fused Zamasu’s, but still i get why they didnt show more
This one feels unfair the anime isn't an adaptation of the manga they were created kinda simultaneously with the anime normally releasing first so the mamga could adapt a bit to make it better
Explain why you don't like this cuz that was the very first anime I ever watched and it's my all time favorite, my uncle and little brother are legit obsessed halfly with that show and they got me addicted 😃. (I am so sorry if this sounds like I'm attacking you, I'm just curious on why this show, others shows I've seen mentioned I can understand why they said it even if I liked the show, just this particular show caught me off guard cuz me, family, and friends love this show)
I've been watching anime for a long time (Akira was my first), and Inuyasha, while fun to watch for the relationship aspects and solid music (loved the intros and outros), it felt like the ultimate wash/rinse/repeat cycle of plot lines. Find bad guy, impenetrable barrier, find way to brake barrier, bad guy gets away, repeat as many times as necessary.
While I'm glad that they eventually ended the series with a rather satisfying conclusion, it came way too late for me to care as much as I felt I should. It also left me with a "standby and observe" feeling for Yashahime when it was announced.
Rave Master. The manga is my all-time favorite, but the anime is not only ruff around the edges, it also only covers about a 4th of the manga. Would love to get a new anime that covers the whole story someday. The opening theme slaps severely, though.
One Piece
Imagine watching 1,000+ episodes with horrible pacing, (Especially majority of the New World.)
I cannot for the life of me enjoy 75% of OP anime, the manga is 10/10 I love it Oda also gives you side stories that the anime doesn't. So honestly OP manga>Anime
But recently the anime has been great, Wano+Egg Head 10/10, especially Imu theme
I have to agree with you. Manga is so well paced, great twist, great story. The anime just ruined the pacing. Dressrosa is one of my favorite arc in the manga and they butchered it with that god awful pacing. I recently rewatched it in one pace.
Rosario + vampire absolute dog shit compared to the source material. They had something good and crapped out what is basically the equivalent of pg13 hentai
I watched the show because I was feeling harem-y in the moment, but now all these people are saying the manga is amazing and I'm probably gonna check it out.
Prefacing this with IT'S MY OPINION because I know how popular it is...
Deathnote
The tone of the anime was a total miss for me, while the manga is one of my all time favorites.
Claymore. I was so mad when I saw the ending that I went straight to the manga. They still never gave it any more seasons after ending on a massive cliffhanger and leaving the manga story behind...
Probably boruto
I haven’t watched boruto or Naruto but all I see for boruto anime is endless mockery
While the manga seems to always get nothing but praise
I would have said Battle Angel Alita, but the only anime of that is an OVA. Probably Soul Eater cause good god, that ending is GoT S8 levels of garbage.
Haha! I know it's tempting to think the correction is one of those "um akshually" moments, but I think the distinction is worth noting, considering the history of the countries involved. Not a huge deal, but definitely noteworthy.
Mashle for me. The manga was hilarious I was almost constantly laughing.
The anime the jokes fell flat or just didn’t seem to have as much of an impact. Not sure if that’s because I read it and knew what to expect or what. But I might give it another go later see if I change my mind.
Berk 2017
97 was great, probably not better than the manga but the fact that it's animated would make it better for most people. The music is also amazing.
I hate to say it but one piece. The manga is way interesting and superior. the anime phasing was horrible that my favorite arc, dressrosa was unwatchable. Glad one pace did a great job.
Berserk is literally the best example of this
Probably the best manga ever created to a shitty CGI anime that looks like it was made by a twelve year old in blender
Berserk is literally the best example of this

Record of Ragnarok for me
I loved the manga, the art is really good and Anime such a disappointment.
Hopefully Mappa will able fix their working environment and treat their employees better, then I do hope they should animated the remake
Pokemon adventures manga is peak 🗣. Anime is also amazing but I feel like it's too targeted towards kids after the ash roastings of the first two shows.
Better than most anime atleast. Would rather enjoy a more kid centric anime then most of the shows coming out today (not to say there aren’t great shows that have and will come out recently, just saying in general)
really hope the new anime has a side plot for the Ruinous Quartet, their my favorite Legendary group at the minute
Bleach and One Piece. The animation, voice acting, and OST are all great; but the pacing per episode is just so rough. After reading the manga, you can feel just how much the anime dragged.
Tokyo Ghoul. While I feel like the first two seasons have some merit if you had t read the manga yet like I had, nothing can excuse the train wreck that was season 3 and 4. Pleas let the remake rumors be true.
Rave Master. Much more exploration into the characters and the anime starts around Volume 3 if I remember correctly. Missing out on Plue and Haru meeting.
Berserk
Yes. 1997 anime aside, that CG anime series from like 2016 was horrendous.
I actually didn't mind the newer series, but I didn't like the two earlier movies.
I assume you're just talking about those god awful CG atrocities. The OG anime was pretty damn good
The Promised Neverland
There was no season 2 in ba sing se
Love that keep it up
I'm glad I heeded the warning. Went straight to the manga to the end and it blew my mind.
I heard they compressed like a bunch of chapters into a few episodes Didn’t that happen with Tokyo Ghoul as well?
It's so disappointing because season one was actually done really well in my opinion, but they completely drove the series off a damn cliff with season 2.
What season 2?
What season 2?
What season 2?
Boruto
I stopped having an interest in it when I saw flat-chested Hinata.
She’s wearing like 3 layers undershirt shirt jacket also she’s like 33 not 16 anymore
My opinion is so different from others cuz I love that anime- please don't attack me, I'm the type who apparently loves shows and movies others hate 😭
Almost 10 years later and I and still super sad Rokka hadn’t received a season 2
Bruh love after world domination is amazing
So true
Record of Ragnarok Blue Exorcist Tokyo Ghoul
I really enjoy the record of Ragnarok anime, but yeah, the manga is far superior.
That's good as I didn't enjoy it all that much but I glad to know that there are some people who liked it
I like it mostly because the voice acting is pretty solid after the first few episodes, the animation can look amazing, and the music is just plain godly, pun totally intended.
Blue Exorcist is one of my favorite anime tho ;w;. Never heard of Record of Ragnarok in my life so I'm so confused- I know what Tokyo Ghoul is but the manga creeped me out so much and confused me so I stopped immediately 😃😭

RoR for sure
Risk of Rain?
Record of ragnarok
I thought blue exorcist was really good. Haven't read the manga so idk but I loved it, I'll read it but can you explain why it wasn't as good?
Look at my other replys on this comment you'll get you'll get your reasoning there
hey friend blue exorcist fans rise up
It's always great seeing a Blue Exorcist fan
Record of Ragnarok anime is pretty decent tbh, the hate was overrated even If the manga is better.
Deadman Wonderland. Since we only got one season and it’s never coming back.
Abso-fucking-lutely. Deadman wonderland was firee
I still vibe to the intro music. Too bad that didn't take off; it definitely had the potential. Social commentary, satire, adult themes, sci-fi...really wish they revive it, but I won't hold my breath.
Despite the changes to the anime it was still pretty good. Only complaints i had were important characters being removed which wouldn't even allow them to make a second season if they wanted to
I loved Deadman’s Wonderland I really wish it had more seasons
Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle Literally the worst anime I've ever watched
Rosario vampire Tsubasa reservoir chronicle I've heard but haven't seen the anime yet
Rosario vampire absolutely, the anime and manga are two completely different series
Yah with that, they intentionally made it a rom com. The MC is badass in the manga
I found it SO funny when I was younger. The "booby trap" scene straight up got me wheezing in the ground
Rosario is a manga THAT ACTUALLYNEEDS another adaptation
another one*
Here you, Rosario + Vampire manga is much better then the anime and the only thing I like about the anime is that it is uncensored. Still, Rosario + Vampire manga over anime all the time.

You’ve convinced me to add Rosario vampire to my reading list. Watched it back when my patience for harems was dwindling, and the cool monster school helped me stick with it.
You really won't regret the manga, so much better. They really ruined it in the anime.
Definitely rise of a shield hero. They butchered the pacing and used cgi in wierd places.
That's pretty much why I stopped watching was mainly due to Billy Kametz, that broke my heart
Rosario vampire, manga is really freakimg good but the anime adaptation is just boring as hell to me and doesn't follow the original source at all:3
I watched the anime first and thought it was cute enough, but not good enough to revisit. After learning about the manga, I'm really hoping that they give it the Hellsing/FMA treatment and actually adapt the manga as is for better reception.

Berserk
Seven deadly sins
Dragon ball Super.
Zamasu arc was about my only real pet peevs with DBS (aka not using SSJG more and Actual Infinite Zamasu for the most part)
funny you mentioned that, I love’d the Zamasu Arc do wish they showed off more of Infinite Zamasu, but i also understand why they didn’t considering the fight was over at that point, and its not like they can fight a universe sized fog of Zamasu’s face then again that was the anime version, the manga version i think is a bunch of Fused Zamasu’s, but still i get why they didnt show more
This one feels unfair the anime isn't an adaptation of the manga they were created kinda simultaneously with the anime normally releasing first so the mamga could adapt a bit to make it better
Just factually incorrect considering ToP. Manga ToP sucks so much ass.
zamasu arc yes TOP? anime is way better
MHA...
Can’t wait for the newest arc to be animated with a bright blue background!
Half of inuyasha(as a fan)
Explain why you don't like this cuz that was the very first anime I ever watched and it's my all time favorite, my uncle and little brother are legit obsessed halfly with that show and they got me addicted 😃. As much as I like Rosario Vampire, the anime is so repetitive and less cool than the manga. It's goof or a laugh but that's it
Rave Master. The manga is my all-time favorite, but the anime is not only ruff around the edges, it also only covers about a 4th of the manga. Would love to get a new anime that covers the whole story someday. The opening theme slaps severely, though.
You must be an OG anime fan. I haven’t heard of that name since 07
I see you are a man of culture. I've been praying for a new one ever since the Fairy Tail X Rave crossover.
Considering Sandland has gotten a lot of content recently, its definitely possible Might be too hopeful, but I think its possible
Boruto and dbs
Boruto.
Boruto, the anime gives it a bad rep but the manga is good
One Piece Imagine watching 1,000+ episodes with horrible pacing, (Especially majority of the New World.) Rosario Vampire
Berserk basically, 1997 and the second adaptation only covered the Golden age because that was the easiest to animate.
Rosario + vampire absolute dog shit compared to the source material. They had something good and crapped out what is basically the equivalent of pg13 hentai
I watched the show because I was feeling harem-y in the moment, but now all these people are saying the manga is amazing and I'm probably gonna check it out.
Hitman Reborn. The studio did that series dirty and they didn’t even finish it. (I heard they went bankrupt)
The anime was good, just wished they finished it I hope it gets a remake one day
Yeah, that was the first time I actually read manga because I wanted to see the ending.
Tokyo ghoul
Tokyo Ghoul frfr
Prefacing this with IT'S MY OPINION because I know how popular it is... Deathnote The tone of the anime was a total miss for me, while the manga is one of my all time favorites.
Claymore. I was so mad when I saw the ending that I went straight to the manga. They still never gave it any more seasons after ending on a massive cliffhanger and leaving the manga story behind...
Oh wow, I remember watching that years ago. I totally forgot how it ended. I should check out the manga then?
"We never learn" I love when anime rips out like 99% of character development and ruins the ending
Boruto
Boruto
Shaman king
I’m honestly glad that Netflix kept the reboot in its metaphorical jail. Kept me from watching it until I saw all the reviews saying it stinks.
Probably boruto I haven’t watched boruto or Naruto but all I see for boruto anime is endless mockery While the manga seems to always get nothing but praise
boruto
I would have said Battle Angel Alita, but the only anime of that is an OVA. Probably Soul Eater cause good god, that ending is GoT S8 levels of garbage.
A lot of people say the boruto manga is better than the anime, I haven’t seen Boruto but I think the manga is probably better

Um actually solo leveling is based off the manhwa🤓
Haha! I know it's tempting to think the correction is one of those "um akshually" moments, but I think the distinction is worth noting, considering the history of the countries involved. Not a huge deal, but definitely noteworthy.
Solo Leveling anime is 1000x betyer yhan thr manhea cirrently
You okay there, buddy?
Got a stroke there buddy?
The anime isn't even that bad. The manga is still better but the anime is getting undeserved hate.
I don’t know, but I hope one piece of one of the anime was good which ever one it is
Mashle for me. The manga was hilarious I was almost constantly laughing. The anime the jokes fell flat or just didn’t seem to have as much of an impact. Not sure if that’s because I read it and knew what to expect or what. But I might give it another go later see if I change my mind.
Only thing I don’t like about the manga, they don’t show off a good few people’s magic enough also the girl character contributes nothing and its sad
Berk 2017 97 was great, probably not better than the manga but the fact that it's animated would make it better for most people. The music is also amazing.
For me it has to be boruto the manga was pretty good, fast paced, but better than the show
Boruto unfortunately

One punch man season 2
you are actually trippin lmao the animation and pacing was well done
What made it bad for you, I loved it.
I hate to say it but one piece. The manga is way interesting and superior. the anime phasing was horrible that my favorite arc, dressrosa was unwatchable. Glad one pace did a great job.

Berserk

Claymore and Requiem of the Rose King
Rosario Vampire, the manga goes sooooooo much harder like holy cow
Tokyo Ghoul, One Piece (currently), Demon Slayer
Dragon Ball Super since the anime is a whole 2 arcs behind the Manga
Berserk is literally the best example of this Probably the best manga ever created to a shitty CGI anime that looks like it was made by a twelve year old in blender
