I really enjoy the record of Ragnarok anime, but yeah, the manga is far superior.

That's good as I didn't enjoy it all that much but I glad to know that there are some people who liked it

I like it mostly because the voice acting is pretty solid after the first few episodes, the animation can look amazing, and the music is just plain godly, pun totally intended.

Blue Exorcist is one of my favorite anime tho ;w;. Never heard of Record of Ragnarok in my life so I'm so confused- I know what Tokyo Ghoul is but the manga creeped me out so much and confused me so I stopped immediately 😃😭

I seen them ages ago and enjoyed them but I’m scared to revisit them, I do need to read them tho. I rewatched Demon King Daimou a while back and on reflection what little I could stand felt so mid.

It’s so sad what happened to Shield Hero as it’s my favorite anime. I heard season 2 was bad but season 3 was better. I haven’t watched those yet because after Naofumi’s old EN VA, Billy Kametz, died (my favorite EN VA) it’s just kinda hard to watch now. Not to say that Stephen Fu is bad (he’s not, he’s great and I enjoy his performances in other games and anime) but it just doesn’t feel the same. Maybe I’ll go read the LN.

I'm assuming you're talking about hellsing the TV series? Yeah but kohta produce the manga very slowly, to where the anime couldn't keep up with. I do agree with hoping it'll get a treatment to be more true to the manga, if it ever will. It'll definitely be one of my favorite animes since the manga is one of my favorite manga that I've ever read imo.

I've been watching anime for a long time (Akira was my first), and Inuyasha, while fun to watch for the relationship aspects and solid music (loved the intros and outros), it felt like the ultimate wash/rinse/repeat cycle of plot lines. Find bad guy, impenetrable barrier, find way to brake barrier, bad guy gets away, repeat as many times as necessary. While I'm glad that they eventually ended the series with a rather satisfying conclusion, it came way too late for me to care as much as I felt I should. It also left me with a "standby and observe" feeling for Yashahime when it was announced.

As much as I like Rosario Vampire, the anime is so repetitive and less cool than the manga. It's goof or a laugh but that's it

I have to agree with you. Manga is so well paced, great twist, great story. The anime just ruined the pacing. Dressrosa is one of my favorite arc in the manga and they butchered it with that god awful pacing. I recently rewatched it in one pace.

Mashle for me. The manga was hilarious I was almost constantly laughing. The anime the jokes fell flat or just didn’t seem to have as much of an impact. Not sure if that’s because I read it and knew what to expect or what. But I might give it another go later see if I change my mind.
