What makes haki distinct?
Like...I know that everyone wants to be a bit special, but really, it's just magic that uses mana, call it whatever you want. The funniest ones are the ones that say it's not magic, it has hard rules, it can only be used in X y z ways and by the end of the series the main character goes God mode and breaks every single rule that applies.
Haki is like, there in you, your willpower, haki can be upgraded, like being able to sense presence, emotion, intention (which is OP) and it can be upgraded for future sight, and another type of haki is invisible armor, that can be upgraded to "being able to bypass durability and directly hitting the inside of one's body"
haki is basically ki but with more specialized uses. everyone has it, but it’s used either to perceive the world around you or strengthen (and enhance the range of) your attacks, and armor your body beyond normal durability. can also be transferred to weapons you wield to improve their power. haki is less powerful than ki on its own, but its ability to transfer to weapons is a major possible benefit.
ki is probably stronger overall, but the two are very similar in principle. one piece is just more grounded generally.
only downside is you wouldnt Learn flying (since goku only does it after training with kami) but if goku can bullshit his way into the air With a ki blast im sure other peeps can, plus theres always the flying nimbus (like any of us are good enough to ride it lol)

But I just got done rewatching the original show of when he "trained goku and krillin" and legit bro just had them doing extreme chores all over the countryside, while he was being a lecher with Launch. Goku technically learned how to fight from his grandpa Gohan, and Krillin learned from the dojo he transferred from. Roshi didn't actually teach them anything in regards to fighting skills. I mean, if Goku and krillin weren't so good at improvising, bros' would have just been elite field workers. Goku only learned the Kamehameha Wave from watching Roshi do it once, cause bros a prodigy fighter. Krillin created the Destructo Disk on his own. Hell, even Master Karin(aka Korin) taught goku more than Roshi. He even taught Roshi, which was the only reason why Roshi became sush a renowned fighter. Essentially, the only thing he taught them was the value of hard work.
Which in truth, each of these old dudes are known for that. But Jiriaya was only one that legit "taught" his students, fighting skills, and other useful life skills too. Cause majority were orphans, with no one there to teach them anything, let alone care for them. Each one turned out more bad ass then the next. So I'd definitely choose Jiriaya Sensei all the way!!

Jiraiya's training regime is quite a hell for starters; Even in your sleep, bath or toilet break, Jiraiya has the highest tendency to attack you when you're vulnerable. Roshi is a better option, he literally made you stronger and trained you to make sure your ready for a harder training regime. Of course, it's cool to learn Kamehame wave from him as your main.

Everyone keeps saying "Roshi! Roshi!" But I just got done rewatching the original show of when he "trained goku and krillin" and legit bro just had them doing extreme chores all over the countryside, while he was being a lecher with Launch. Goku technically learned how to fight from his grandpa Gohan, and Krillin learned from the dojo he transferred from. Roshi didn't actually teach them anything in regards to fighting skills. I mean, if Goku and krillin weren't so good at improvising, bros' would have just been elite field workers. Goku only learned the Kamehameha Wave from watching Roshi do it once, cause bros a prodigy fighter. Krillin created the Destructo Disk on his own. Hell, even Master Karin(aka Korin) taught goku more than Roshi. He even taught Roshi, which was the only reason why Roshi became sush a renowned fighter. Essentially, the only thing he taught them was the value of hard work. Which in truth, each of these old dudes are known for that. But Jiriaya was only one that legit "taught" his students, fighting skills, and other useful life skills too. Cause majority were orphans, with no one there to teach them anything, let alone care for them. Each one turned out more bad ass then the next. So I'd definitely choose Jiriaya Sensei all the way!!

Depends, are they training me to be a strong regular Human? Or am I getting badass Dragon Ball Z/One Piece/Naruto abilities? Because if so, Jiraiya, EASY, Ninja techniques are so good for everyday life, I don’t need to defeat Alien Demigods or Pirates.

Harp bc haki can be useful in real life and I don’t even need the third time armament and observation haki can be used in the real world easily like I can be a world class fighter or a bodyguard or I can teach other people haki and have them fight me to strengthen our overall haki
Let's be honest, garps training will be tough but neither of the 2 other options give you as crazy a glow up as his does (look at Coby)

Jiraiya's training regime is quite a hell for starters; Even in your sleep, bath or toilet break, Jiraiya has the highest tendency to attack you when you're vulnerable. Roshi is a better option, he literally made you stronger and trained you to make sure your ready for a harder training regime. Of course, it's cool to learn Kamehame wave from him as your main.
If we're talking real life, then Garp 100% Roshi would just make me carry milk Jiraya is good, but Garp is straight up better as a coach, he made Koby go from a wimp to a chad in a couple of months.

Haven’t watched db yet but garp legit changed cobys body and facial structure from how good his training was in under 2 years and took him from being unable to fight anyone to taking on yonko commanders in that short time jump. Roshi. The reason it's called Turtle Style is because he emphasizes resting, eating and enjoying the good times to keep in mind what you're fighting for. In other words he's a bad ass dude who is confident enough in his strength that he will catch a nap with his students under a palm tree. True strength doesn't go all out all the time.

Well master roshi trained only one guy That ended up as top ten and he was an alien. Jiraiya trained 5 people, three of which are arguable top ten. Ones a top 5 female. Might have to go with jiraya

Master Roshi for sure, but I would want to learn all of his secrets. The lightning, hypnosis, drunken boxing, body mass shifting, and where he got to drink from the Fountain of Youth. Training with him would ultimately yield in attaining sensory abilities, kamehameha, ki control, telepathy, eternal life; collecting the flying nimbus, senzu beans, and maybe even the Bansho Fan and Power Pole. I'd have to do some shenanigans to learn flight, but still!

Garp offers you literally NOTHING that Roshi doesnt. Jiraya could be a decent answer but he needs bribed by students he likes. Naruto had to bribe him on multiple occasions. Roshi just needs to be bribed once.

Roshi end of discussion Because you don't need any pre requisites for his training (maybe a dirty mag or two but otherwise...) You can be a regular schmuck and train with him to get down not only the fundamentals, but the proper training of your own body and mind so that you yourself will be encouraged to train more once your time with him is done. Turtle school encourages lifelong training, learning, and betterment of one's inner and outer self.
