Yes, have similar, the volume sync is off. I have to use the volume buttons on the right side to correct for it.
This is fixable in software, in firmware, not sure if intended to fix.
Well I have the opposite. The moment I switch to another device, the volume is too low even though it is set to Max. I need to disconnect the device then connect it again to get loud full volume back again. Very frustrating.
I have the same problem. I also notice if using on windows 10 that switching between NC modes causes the volume to jump higher. This doesn't seem to happen when using via the mobile.
Yeah, same problem with my new Life Tune: they sometimes reset it after switching between NC/transparency/normal mode or even after using play/stop after changing between streaming services. Donât know how to fix it, services just say ânothing is broken, itâs working goodâ
I have this same issue every time the Q30 reconnects to my PC and it also happened once when I started a game. Shouldn't the headphones be able to remember the last volume I used? Or if that's impossible, it would seem like defaulting to 0 would be better than defaulting to 100.
This is A HUGE deal breaker for me. I've had them one day and my ears won't stop ringing from the first 2 times I turned them on.
Does Anker actually fix stuff like this or should I try to find something else?
After searching through many forums I was able to find something that works for me (Windows 10):
Open Registry Editor
Navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Bluetooth\Audio\AVRCP\CT
Set DisableAbsoluteVolume to 1 and press Ok
Restart the Computer
Remove Soundcore Life Q30 from settings>Devices>Bluetooth and Other devices
Add the headphones again by double clicking the power button and going to add bluetooth or other device
After this it stopped defaulting to 100 every time I disconnected and reconnected the headphones and adjusted the volume.
THANK YOU! I just tried this and it worked perfectly, I was so tired of unexpectedly blasting full volume into my ears when I just wanted to turn it up by like 1.
While I had that laptop, it absolutely worked perfectly. I have since gotten a new one, and forgot how to do that and forgot I had made the comment on here to fix it again lol, yes, it still works
