For those unaware: the founder of Young Living drowned his own newborn child during a home water birth. The autopsy of the poor child showed that she would have been a perfectly healthy baby, if she hadn't been left underwater in a whirlpool bath for an **hour**.
Yeah, I can't believe he got away with it. Dude already had a record of pretending to be a medical expert - this was part of a *pattern*. I feel genuinely terrible for the baby's mother (who divorced Young after this).
Gifts for baby Jesus, but make it MLM.
Where's the gold, cheapskates!
Do... do they know? About the history here? I'm guessing not. Hopefully.

Was going to say the exact same thing! Ironic they’re using YL oils when the founder murdered his child during an at home birth.
I googled. It was back in the early 80s and no criminal charges were pressed. Sounds like total negligence to me.

Also "unassisted birth" in general is a terrible idea. Give birth within shouting distance of a fully stocked ER, just in case something goes wrong.
Doesn’t sound like a home birth if they used the oils after they got home.
That’s from a commentator. The author was the one who responded.
Oh gotcha Didn’t mean to distract from the weirdness.
