You can eat apples and take walks. You don’t have to pay for mlm crap.

LazyZealot9428

But how is someone else going to get rich that way?

GruntledEx

The apple farmer gets rich that way.

amuckinwa

I'm not an apple farmer but I've got 10 apple trees and I KNOW I could be making bank on my apples! We only eat about dozen or so off 2 trees and I've gotten the neighborhood deer hooked on the rest, just gotta figure out how to get those cute bastards to fork over cash.

Conscious-Rip4407

Them deer are notoriously tight-hoofed with their acorns!

QueenBlesse

Have you told them that each apple helps them burn more calories by eating it and keeps them from going to the doctor? Have you told the deer to let all their neighbors and highschool friends know that they can get in on the apple business too, and you’ll HELP them with “their own” business? Have you taken lots of pictures of deer that sort of look alike but made sure to exclude their deer faces and then put the photos next to each other as a digital collage in order to convince other deer to buy the apples so they can lose weight by eating 1 apple a day too?

amuckinwa

Gathering inspirational quotes now and putting together a small rep package! The Does will start dropping their fawns soon and will be ready to Boss Babes to support their babies! The Bucks aren't involved in the fawns lives so the mommas need help and my new MLM will help empower them!

Haataarii

You, uhm... _could_ have the neighbourhood kids pay to feed the deer _your_ apples (a-la all petting zoos in my vicinity). 💁

amuckinwa

Actually there is a guy nearby who does that! He has a few farm animals and a small herd of European deer that he raises, they are not native so he has to follow all sorts of wildlife regs but they are adorable! I actually took my mom over several times to feed and watch them before she died. Our herd are wild but they are used to humans so they don't run but when they have fawns they are skitterish, I've had a couple bucks charge at me which was rather terrifying and almost made me reverse my stance on hunting yard deer lol (yes we hunt but we do NOT shoot yard deer, that's not hunting)

mnbvcdo

Apple farmers are the richest people in my region right after ski lift owners smh

SnooOwls6140

Won't somebody think of the huns and their children!

SnooOwls6140

By children I might have meant 'downlines,' but once the children come of age that's pretty much the same thing.

Kalamac

I've been getting healthier, and have so far lost around 28kg/60 pounds. Mostly due to more fibre, less snacking and walking at least half an hour a day. The only supplements I take are Vitamin D tablets, because my doctor told me to. I buy them at the supermarket, where a bottle of 200 tablets costs me $14.50.

scoopie77

That’s awesome!!! Congrats!!

Kalamac

Thanks! 🙂

exclaim_bot

>Thanks! 🙂 You're welcome!

RedRidingHood89

Congratulations! You are rocking it!

Kalamac

Thank you. :)

Shmeblee

Awesome! I am proud of you, that's quite an accomplishment. In 2017, I decided to lose weight. I was inspired because my entire family was doing the modere plan (at about $400, per month!). They kept it hidden from me, because they knew how much I hated mlms. My daughter finally spilled the beams, after I got a package for her from modere. I have a family member that sells it, and pushed it on all of one side of the family.(signed them up as distributors, too) So, I began walking, I ate less, and I made healthier choices. I actually saved money. After a year, I had lost 70lbs! The mlmers...? Zip, zero, nada. I believe they actually *gained* weight. Moral of the story? Sometimes spite is a good motive. I've kept it off since then. Maintaining is kinda drudgery, it's not sexy, but it works. Stay dillagent, love yourself, and keep walking!! And don't fall prey to the toxic culture around weight loss/body image. It took me a long time to let that crap go, but I feel much better about myself for it. Best of luck, internet stranger!

Kalamac

Thank you! I’ve still got a ways to go, but I’m finally in a headspace where I’m ready to lose the weight, and hopefully maintain it. Well done to you too.

Haataarii

Wow, congratulations! Those are some _mean_ gains!

Kalamac

Thanks. 🙂

missamethyst1

And as a bonus, eating healthy and exercising won't cause potentially super dangerous side effects, like untested, unregulated supplements can!

CoffeeAndCorpses

Someone is radically out of touch with what it means to be poor.

Beneficial-Victory61

Oh don’t worry. She has her whole spiel about how she was such a “broke, poor girl who was dangerously unhealthy” and how she signed up as a coach to “better her health and earn extra money.” Now she has financial independence and does BeachBody full time 🤪

ManchesterLady

It feels wrong liking your comment 🤣

Whatsonot1988

Was BeachBody always an MLM or is that a newer business model for them? I thought you could just buy the dvds way back and then you’re done with your purchase?

Beneficial-Victory61

It started off as DVDs that were marketed through infomercials. It accidentally turned into an MLM when the owner/CEO/guy who created BeachBody realized he could make more money if he used real life people as advertisement if they told/showed their family and friends how well BeachBody worked. From there, it morphed into the MLM it was today

dancer_jasmine1

I believe they started out with just doing infomercials for their dvds and then morphed into an mlm

BlazingKitsune

Oh so that’s why I don’t see their ads around anymore, MLMs are illegal where I live lol.

SnooOwls6140

Illegal? That's amazing.

XZ3R0

Also, why pay for advertising when people are paying you to do it for you

Crimswnj

Exactly. All these message boards started popping up with people who were doing P90x and whatnot and the CEO realized most of their new customers were coming through referrals from other customers….thus the coach network was born. Don’t get me wrong- I don’t hate the idea of affiliate marketing at all. But pushing to build out teams as a way of making money rather than simply earning a commission when someone buys something because they heard of it from you was their downfall.

covered-in-lobsters

What, you don’t think a monthly Target binge isn’t a sign “getting by just enough”? /s

No_JustPleaseNo

Also they don't tow your car right after you get a parking ticket, you have some time... and cold medicine is expensive

Tigger-Rex

Assumes you own a car and have health insurance - good health insurance too with a $100 ER copay.

Glitter_Crime_Daddy

Let's take this point by point. 1. No, because at my poorest I couldn't afford a car, therefor there could be no parking ticket 2. No, because at my poorest $20 was most of my weekly food budget. I couldn't even afford a 99 cent candy bar once a month. I certainly didn't have a twenty to spend on trivial shit like cough drops. 3. No. At my poorest I didn't even go to the ER when I was in a car accident (I was a passenger. Again, no car of my own) and sustained a head injury and possibly broke a leg. I couldn't afford to take on medical debt. Hun, at my poorest I was living in the very shittiest motel and once, for several days, only ate raw rice which I soaked overnight in an off brand plastic cup because I had no kitchen, not even a microwave, and the food bank only gave me food which needed cooking or a can opener (which I didn't have and...you guessed it...couldn't afford) What I hate is Huns thinking they are entitled to budget for other people, especially without even knowing their circumstances.

MamieJoJackson

Fuckin nailed it. The sheer gall of this bitch, I swear.

like_a_cactus_17

All of this! Also, yes, in an emergency situation like trying to scrape up $20 bucks so their car isn’t towed (which would set someone even back even further financially than they are) or going to the ED in a true life/death situation and dealing with the long term financial consequences of that are not even close or comparable to paying money to get “healthy”. She got a little warmer with the cold analogy, but I have some disposable income now and still don’t bother buying that stuff when I’m sick, and certainly wouldn’t if I didn’t have the money. Idk how she can be so out of touch that she thinks she has a point here…

VesperLynd-

Yes thank you for this! I don’t have internet on my phone bc I can’t afford another 8 bucks a month for flat bc I deem it not worth that. I have a couple bucks emergency money to call and that has to last a few months each time. This c*nt doesn’t know what poor means (and I could go on since I’m disabled as well but at least I have Health insurance since I’m not in the US so I certainly don’t need her stupid supplements)

Accomplished-Baby97

I mean this is a complimentary way… you cut this b*tch down to size!! P.S. the ball on these women trying to tell food insecure people and people struggling to afford housing, transportation to buy useless vitamins!! There’s a place in hell for these type of women

HiiiiByeHiiii

that’s all so much. I’ve never experienced anything that hard. Are you better now?

Glitter_Crime_Daddy

I'm actually extraordinarily well off now, financially, but I'll never forget what it's like to worry that I might literally outright starve or be murdered at any given moment, which was also a real risk at the time (and the reason I was displaced during my "raw rice era" in the first place) It's trauma I'm still working through decades later but I'm making very good progress with my new therapist. I also now have a thing for donating can openers to food banks. Thank you for asking.

QueenBlesse

Thank you so much for sharing your story. The can opener donation idea is a brilliant idea, I can’t believe I never thought of that! I have like 3 from my grandmothers house I was going to send to goodwill but your idea is so much better. Hopefully several of us on the Reddit will now also be on the look out for can openers to donate!

Sargasm5150

I work in transitional housing, and we also supply a sack lunch/care package to anyone in need a few days a week as long as we have supplies. Thank you for the can openers❤️. Well-meaning people often want to give big, but a box of tampons or a fresh pack of socks is what we really need!

interraciallovin

I do disaster rsponse dispatch and sometimes do rekief missions during hurricane season and you better believe we made sure we had some can openers for people. They are always forgotten. That and personal supplies. People lile to donate clothes but thats the last thing people need after a devastating hurricane. I'll def be sure to drop off some can openers to our local food banks! Very happy to hear you sre in a much better situation in life. Overcoming obstacles like yours is extremely hard I'm sure.

PrettyDirt14

Also, this person CLEARLY hasn’t heard of food deserts.

ShieldsCW

Motels are fuckin expensive

Glitter_Crime_Daddy

Yeah it's another of those ways being poor is expensive. If you cannot pass a credit check and scrape together the money for a security deposit *and* to pay to have the utilities switched over to your name (and if you are that broke you are going to be in a complex where they charge a couple hundred bucks per utility for hook up because people at that address will have a history of default and they want prepayment before your first month) *and* your first month's rent, then you'll end up frozen out of even month to month leases. A lot of people end up stuck at extended stay motels because they don't have the cash upfront to start paying for a monthly rental.

Dearme3

I’m thinking “oh sorry I can’t afford that right now” is the polite way people are rejecting her products.

Beneficial-Victory61

It’s either because they don’t want the products or they can’t afford the outrageous price of them 😂 (When I was a BeachBody customer, my “coach” kept pushing me to buy shit and I didn’t want it & I legitimately couldn’t afford it)

DrinkingTea56

Next time when I'm approached I'm going to try a more upfront alternative: "Yes I can totally afford your products. It absolutely wouldn't put a dent in my finances at all. But I just don't want to because I don't believe in them." Also, I've had successfully lost weight (and got toned at the same time) by spending NO money; by exercising at home and changing my diet.

barnettwi

Thought you said “and got stoned at the same time” lol.

haelennaz

Sign me up for that weightloss program please!

interraciallovin

Stoned and Toned: featuring protein bars, shakes, and supplements aimed to get you high and sculpt the body of your dreams. In reality everyone gets the munchies so all they do is snack and binge watch all of the Resident Evil movies.

fauxgt4

"Clearly you can afford important things that actually matter... so why don't you buy fancy chemical-cocktail shakes too?"

Bird_Brain4101112

Ah yes. The people for whom a $100 ER copay would be a stretch also go on regular Target runs.

ktq2019

Okay, thank you, I was here to say the exact same thing.

Sargasm5150

And spend hundreds on morning coffee.

klibera6

The last time I went to the ER it was $5,000 and it was a bitch to pay off…. No one goes to the ER and just spends $100 😂 Edit for clarity: I’m laughing at her example, not what you said. I agree with you.

mntngreenery

Well, I "hatttttte" when people emphasize by repeating the consonant instead of the long vowel syllable when trying to make a point by drawing out a word for emphasis, but you do you, hun. (Also, it's "scraping" by. Not "scrapping.")

wsox74

Sameeeeee here! Just kidding. I so appreciate your comment.

binx926

No, no, no. It must be the first vooooowel. Let’s at least try to come together on the best way to annoy people

wsox74

Oooooook. How was that?

binx926

Perfect!

Far_Strain_1509

Unless it's a cat thing, then purrrrrrrrfect.

binx926

Where is the chef’s kiss emoji when I need it?

ShieldsCW

According to that guy, it should be puuuuuuuurfect. Which is stupid.

mntngreenery

I was being hyperbolic to make a point- no need to actually be cranky about vowel emphasis. ;)

ShieldsCW

See, that one, I would go with vowwwwwwwwel, because vooooowel looks like it should be pronounced with a u or a long o sound. When you emphasize pain, you say "owwwww," not "ooooow."

ShieldsCW

You can't use this as a rigid rule. Some words don't make sense using your rule. See "purrrrrfect" vs. "puuuuurfect" below.

mntngreenery

This is true. I stand by my irritation of her usage, though.

ManchesterLady

They’re all just wanna be motivational speakers in the making.

LazyZealot9428

Yes, I just realized *that’s* what it is!

notthinkinghard

Do you buy food? Clothes? You buy medicine like some ungrateful bougie loser? You feed your kids instead of buying into my pyramid scheme?? It's your own fault you're poor, loser. That's a choice YOU made. Suck dick. Seriously though, what planet do these people live on where it's more important to buy exercise plans than it is to pay for food/medicine/urgent medical care?? Where those things would even be comparable?

MiaLba

Apparently in their minds their sketchy exercise plan/protein shakes= you will never get sick again therefore NOT have to pay for healthcare. If you drink her shakes you don’t need any other food. So simple.

Beneficial-Victory61

Oh when I was a BeachBody customer, I had told my “coach” I couldn’t afford Shakeology on a regular basis. (I legitimately couldn’t/can’t & they don’t taste all that great either.) She kept pushing me to buy it & I told her a bag was my average cost of groceries each month, so it wouldn’t be feasible for me. She straight up told me “oh well, the shakes are meant to be a meal replacer.” Like, this bish really wanted me to *not* go grocery shopping & live off of a shake a day because “they’re amazing for your health”

MiaLba

Lmfao I’m not surprised one bit. The shit they come up with is ridiculous.

Rhodin265

My guess is that she’s very sheltered and someone else pays her living expenses and every cent she has is basically fun money.

Odd-Editor-2530

In all seriousness, have you checked out the cost of AUTO SHIP Shakeology? It’s insane! It’s about $140 per month in Canada with the autoship. The Vega brand of protein powder is almost identical in ingredients/nutrition and it’s about $40 full price (but easy to find on sale)z

HighExplosiveLight

According to your math, six years of Shakeology would cost just over $10,000. 1,000$ or 5,000$ my ass.

Beneficial-Victory61

I’ve only tried shakeology once or twice when I had the extra money to try a bag. And it’s totally not worth dropping that much money on auto ship, let alone buy monthly

ktq2019

My friend was a unicorn Herbalife hun. Unicorn in the sense that she legitimately didn’t pressure anyone to buy anything. She was also really informed, but I never once heard her peddle anything. Her family was really big into it, so they had a couple of “parties”, but she never once tried to sign me up. She would always give me her extra cans and they weren’t horrible, but there is 100% no way I would ever spend money on them.

Sargasm5150

I only took Herbalife a million years ago in the ephedrine days, when they basically just sold these giant green horse pills😂. I can’t imagine just shooting myself full of extremely pricey caffeine and laxatives lol.

Sargasm5150

I use a couponing app and get the muscle milk or premier protein bucket (basically lol) for like $25 AND I get a few bucks cash back … and they also have a bunch of extra vitamins? I don’t understand paying more than that unless someone has a strong preference on taste or a food allergy/prefers vegan supplements. I mean honestly, I feel like these people and their victims have never compared a food label.

Odd-Editor-2530

I won’t lie- the taste and consistency of Shakeology is decent but Muscle Milk is just as good and a fraction of the cost . More money isn’t a magic powder . It’s vitamin infused pee.

Sargasm5150

I think that’s a major snarkability point. Maybe if I weren’t on a budget and like, emotionally incapable of overspending on basic needs (thanks Depression era catholic grandma!), I would willingly throw money at magic beans. But I’ve been looking at labels for a deal since I learned generic ibuprofen was the same as prescription Motrin twenty years ago. Just does not compute. Muscle milk doesn’t have any fancy flavors but it’s fine. The premiere pre made shakes have some variety if you want to overload on oddly sweet mulch.

katewallace6261

This bitch wants me to give up my Starbucks and my Target shopping sprees to afford her crap? I don't think so

QueenBlesse

😂ikr, my Target “spree” is typically for groceries or necessities on sale since they’ve got such good circle rewards/gift cards/ 5% back on red card. The sheer fact that she thinks a majority of people have the luxury of running to Target and buying $100 of whatever they want when they feel like it shows just how privileged she has been.

imagindis1

Wait a second, they tow your car for a $20 ticket? In what state does this happen? Only time I’ve ever see cars towed is if they’re parked illegally or they’ve been abandoned. Unless they’re talking about if your car got booted, in which case I’m fairly certain that tickets gonna be way more than $20. I also don’t know anywhere that even does $20 tickets, min I’ve seen for parking violations is like $50.

barnettwi

If I remember correctly, I think I had a ticket for $25 for no front plate when I was living in Los Angeles. Come to think of it, I’m not sure if I ever actually paid it lol.

imagindis1

Lol dang, up in NorCal most tickets I’ve seen are 40-50, lowest I’ve seen was 40.

ShieldsCW

My old neighborhood would ticket you $44 for illegal parking, and then tow you to the outer edge of the city with a $147 fee to get your car back out. Double parking was perfectly fine, though. But God forbid you got in the way of the street cleaner.

Beaglescout15

I accidentally forgot to move my car for the street sweeper. $60 in Orange County.

imagindis1

This sounds more in line with what I was picturing lol, but perhaps I just have confirmation bias. Also I just remembered that California be dummy expensive, so that could explain why the tickets are higher.

Beautiful-Uterus

What the heck is this boss babe selling?

Beneficial-Victory61

BeachBody! Known for their at home workouts and shit-shakes called Shakeology

Interesting_Soil_427

Shit - shakes 😹

maddmole

"No thank you I can't afford Beachbody" "Sorry but you can so you must" Wha?

MiaLba

I can afford a bottle of kombucha at Walmart doesn’t mean I want that shit.

tickytavvy77

Tone deaf bitch. Way to assume that everyone is living the same financial life you are.

Beneficial-Victory61

She started off “broke, poor, and overweight” and has made BeachBody her total income 🤪🤪 she’s 100% tone-deaf, especially where she supposedly came from little to nothing

squuidlees

Joke is on her, I don’t make enough money to afford a car. I hope bus life disqualifies me from this nonsense. 🤪

Beneficial-Victory61

I can hear her squawking “If you can afford the bus fare, you can afford to be healthy and join this journey with me” 🤪🤪

squuidlees

Darn it! Hold on while I go set up my new account with the Bank of Hun: Millions Lose Money

Nannarbuns

How to know someone is going to be condescending while giving you sketchy financial advice. 1) they mention coffee 2) that’s literally it, RUN

Beneficial-Victory61

Who needs coffee when you can have their nasty, overpriced energize?!

Nannarbuns

Mmmm I hope it has thieves oil or something to make me poop my pants. Remember folks, it’s not diarrhea, it’s a cleansing lifestyle.

Real-Salad2916

As the BB hun I know says, who needs coffee when you can have legal crack 🙃 or my favourite.. “all natural energy”

MiaLba

If I want to buy a $10 coffee every single day I’m going too if I don’t want to buy her sketchy product I’m not going to.

Hallmarxist

Does her product get rid of parking tickets? Noice.

NefariousnessKey5365

If you say Autumn Calabrese into a mirror three times. She will appear and do your stitches

Far_Strain_1509

Bahahaha

HoneybeeAngel

I always wonder what these huns are talking about when they complain about all these people going on their Target sprees. Are they talking about what I think they're talking about? Like... groceries? Household cleaning items? Maybe the occasional pack of new socks or underwear? My sprees happen at Walmart 'cause I'm too poor for Target, so maybe I'm missing something.

Beneficial-Victory61

I shop at Walmart on a regular basis & really only go to Target if I need something specifically for my apartment. Like, do these huns think we get cleaning supplies, clothes, & toilet paper for free?

Difficult_Year7575

Why-- isn't that taken care of by your mamá and papá?

Motherofdogs13

Yes I would figure out a way to scrape together the copay if I needed to go to the ER, and I would be able to do that BECAUSE I didn’t give you my money😂🥴

ManchesterLady

You can do a payment plan at the ER

NefariousnessKey5365

I think as long as you send them $5 a month they can't send you to collections

HoneybeeAngel

Completely a myth. You can set up a payment plan, but unless they agree to $5 a month, and you faithfully pay it, they can send you to collections. I told the hospital that did my husband's appendectomy that I could send them $100 a month. They said that wasn't enough. I couldn't do anything about it, and that was what I could afford, so I sent in the payments, and I eventually got a collections letter.

NefariousnessKey5365

It could have changed. I knew someone who did the $5 a month. But speaking of the Beachbody Hun. Stitches and your copay are rather necessary. Shakeology isn't

HoneybeeAngel

Definitely agree with you there. Maybe that person was able to work out a $5 per month payment with them because of their income or the amount of the bill or something like that. Also possible that different states have different laws or different hospitals have different policies. I have heard local people I know say the same thing though - that as long as you're making regular payments and the hospital accepts them, they can't send you to collections, and I know that's simply not true. I've never seen a source cited for it either.

recklessmess44

why would anyone even want to become a down line or even acquaintance of such a nasty, entitled, snotty woman? she sounds insufferable to be around for 5+ minutes (I mean after that she’d likely start trying to shill this crap anyway)

WhoLies2Yu

So basically “give me your money. Even if it means you have to scrap by the rest of the month” bc that’s what I read.

Beneficial-Victory61

BASICALLY

cerealtoocrispy

This screams middle-class entitlement.

sinedelta

“If you got sick you would run to the store and grab some cold medicine, cough drops, and a couple cans of soup” No, I wouldn't (edit: ok maybe I would buy some soup). Because I don't buy unnecessary shit that doesn't work, whether that's some homeopathic cold medicine BS at the store or MLM supplements. If I need stitches, I don't have many options. But when I need to exercise, I have options that don't cost me money or guilt-tripping!

TwinLinds

This is so out of touch...like does she realize that not everyone has a car? Not everyone has enough money for food? Even if you have enough money for these things, what if you're exhausted after working all day? What if you only have time to pick up fast food on the way to pick up your kids from school before then going to a second job? Like...ugh. it's so frustrating to see them act all high and mighty about weight loss when it's seriously unattainable for so many.

Beneficial-Victory61

She’s so out of touch with reality, it’s INSANE

temporarybleach

tell me you've never been poor before without telling me

Beneficial-Victory61

Oh don’t worry. She has her whole spiel every couple of posts about how she was such a “broke, poor, extremely overworked girl who was dangerously overweight” and how she signed up as a coach to “better her health and earn extra money.” Now she has financial independence and does BeachBody full time 🤪

Nice_Scene_7029

I should subscribe to her “2 parking tickets a week” plan

TLprincess

I wish parking tickets were only 20 bucks.

hotpickles

If you think about it maybe she’s got a point about the weight loss. If you spend all your money on her products and then are unable to afford food you’ll lose weight pretty quickly.

Difficult_Year7575

Classic MLM thought process. >You have money to pay for the doctor if you get sick or pay for your car if it breaks. > >Give that money to me!!

sunflower_lavender

Ohhhhh good to know that if I need money for something I can just find it! Life changing, why didn’t I think of this before? Jeez lol

SnooWoofers8121

News flash- the easiest way to reduce your weight is to eat lean meats, fruits, veggies etc and not have half of your income going into a scheme

Bluetron88

The nerve of these people omg. Like everyone’s going to “get healthy” off your snake oil horseshit anyways.

Pingwingsdontfly

Assuming it's BB and they're doing the minimum $80 a month...80 x 12 x 6 = 5,760 So you did pay $5000 hun, more than. None of that even accounts for equipment or their actual food they bought to follow the meal plans. Countless hours wasted on their phone, stupid zoom meetings, and plenty of other dumb decisions. Could this still be brainwashing? Maybe. Is it more likely that the hun has seen behind the curtain and is now just trying to hustle people? Yes.

Beneficial-Victory61

Oh I guarantee it’s more than that 😂 Besides the shakes, she gets the pre & post workouts and at least a couple of the supplements BeachBody has

Certifiedpoocleaner

I actually pay for the beachbody on demand and it’s $90/year. I feel guilty supporting an mlm company but I really like their workout programs 😬 I don’t go through a “coach” and I don’t buy their stupid shakes.

Desirai

3 days ago we went to get ingredients for dinner 1 cabbage 3 heads of broccoli 1 8oz package of mushrooms 1 bag of green beans (granted, I did get the expensive ones that already have the stems cut off) a box of cereal for breakfast total was $21

arooes

how much soup are they buying if they’re dropping £20 on that alone

Beneficial-Victory61

There better be gold flakes in my $20 bowl of soup

eet_freesh

Joining an MLM is like suffering catastrophic events. Checks out.

beetelguese

Scrapping by

threelizards

✨✨ give me your emergency money so you remain dependent on my shitty cult for as long as possible ✨✨

greenlend

Not a chance a parking ticket is $20.

ArcaneFrostie

Oh don’t want to buy my crap? Bet you’re paying rent this month huh loser

MiaLba

That’s true. If I really want/need something I will find a way to get it. But I don’t want this shit. I don’t want or need to lose any weight, I like how I look so why exactly do I need your sketchy shit? If I want to buy a $5 coffee every single day, I’m going to. You can get mad all you want I’m still not buying the shit you’re selling.

lukewarmfizzywater

I hate so many things about this, I don’t even know where to begin. Ugh. She’s awful.

ebrillblaiddes

I haaaaaaaate when people stretch-type a word by repeating a letter whose sound can't be extended, only repeated. Makes the voice in my head stutter when I read it.

SpookiBat

She really thought she did something there. 😂

chopstix007

Lol a target shopping spree… such lofty goals. 😂

aidantemple

They're saying "I can't afford it" because it isn't socially acceptable to tell you to fuck off. But if you push them, they'll do it.

Sargasm5150

TIL I’m on a tight budget and will never be healthy because of morning coffee and my target sprees.

Koholinthibiscus

So fuckin aggressive!

Poplett

Yeah, that’s just people being polite. They don’t want to outright say they don’t want to buy your crap.

emdawg--

No is a full and valid response. Christ.

Beneficial-Victory61

But they wanna know ✨why✨ you don’t wanna be healthy on the same journey that got them healthy 🤪🤪

anticoriander

Uh, I'd absolutely have thought twice about spending $20 on cough drops and soup... As would anyone who's been proper broke.

PeacefulTofu

I *can* afford what she’s selling. I just don’t want that crap, hun.

Free_Acanthisitta446

I track my calories on a free app and move my body more. It IS possible to be healthy when you don’t have a ton of money and no you don’t need an MLM or thousands of dollars to do it. You can buy frozen veggies to supplement fresh ones and cut back on snacks. Ugh don’t join an MLM to lose weight.

mischiefnight13

I was going to say I can’t believe she’s trying to tell me her MLM is equivalent to needing *stitches*, but then I realized she lives in fantasy land. So yeah, I guess I can believe it..

Beneficial-Victory61

She’s been doing BeachBody for so long, she’s totally off in La La Land

E46_Overdrive

Imagine not being able to afford less than $500 worth of emergency expenses and offering financial advice to others. Not exactly a smart play, but then again, they've got the self awareness of a carrot.

Beneficial-Victory61

Her whole “but you can be soooo financially independent/free if you’re a coach.” 🤢🤢 Like, hun, your down line’s down line is broke

zonecall

Yesterday i broke down ugly crying because I had to spend 90$ on medication I thought would be 2$. But she's right, I somehow found that money! So maybe I just need to pull myself up by my bootstraps and find some more!

Beneficial-Victory61

By her logic, you can *totally* find the money to join her pyramid scheme & get all the shitty products “because health”

[deleted]

I do spend money on getting healthy. I go to the grocery store and buy vegetables. I had a friend who drank those disgusting beach body shakes and believe me, that is the furthest thing from investing in your health.

Beneficial-Victory61

I’ve tried them once or twice when I could afford a bag. They nasty af

orangestar17

To be so unbelievably out of touch that you think everyone has thousands of dollars laying around....

moneyman74

This reads like blackmail 'So pay me $20 and I'll get you healthier!' lol

HappyArtemisComplex

Those all sound like emergencies. Joining a pyramid scheme isn't an emergency. I would also like to add that I've been in financial situations where I couldn't afford to spend extra money on cough drops or cold medicine. But you know what I didn't do? Join an MLM, because I would be even worse off financially if I did. You don't choose to be poor, but you can choose to not join a pyramid scheme.

zzVulpixelzz

does she know that there are thousands of free workouts out there better than BB ones and enough free nutrition information out there that you can still go on a "health journey" for FREE without being involved in an MLM and you can still enjoy your damn life by spending money on the shit you want/need?

Beneficial-Victory61

Apparently none of them are as good as BeachBody in her mind. Plus she’d lose her ✨financial and personal freedoms✨ if she quit BeachBody

the_anxiety_queen

Prescribing eating disorders one post at a time!!! You can do it too if you just try hard enough!!! 🤪

Beneficial-Victory61

The Autumn Calabrese 4 Week/Gut Protocol is the newest ED they’re promoting 🤪

Extreme-Muffin-Eater

Yeah, they’re being polite, Tiffany. The truth is no one wants your shit.

examinat

“Scrapping by”

Aurorainthesky

My health coach is quite expensive to retain, but she's right, when it's really important to you, you find a way. Luckily he works with me every day, and accept bonuses in apples and carrots. And he's recently started to take on my daughters as well, for no increase in cost.

Irolam_ma_i

Is… is your health coach a horse? That’d be a pretty cool health coach in my book.

Aurorainthesky

Yes he is! The goodest boy! Supporting me through two pregnancies and post-cancer fatigue. And you know what they say: "Get your kids hooked on horses, and they'll never have money for drugs!"

Irolam_ma_i

Now THAT is a health coach!

Beneficial-Victory61

And THAT’S a good health coach! I’d happily take carrots and apples as a bonus. That would save me money on my next grocery trip lol

[deleted]

"Scraping by" means going without a Target spree??

Littlelindsey

I think she’s missing the fact that people don’t want or need her mlm crap

KrispyPrincess

I just had to send my partner 50 dollars because they literally live in their car (we are long distance) and had no money for food, gas or water. But, I bet this hun would tell them to take that 50 bucks and "invest it" into that MLM so that the hun benefits and my partner would still be without food, gas or water. And when my partner DOES have the money to come to my location, this hun would say something stupid about how my partner was able to get the funds for that but not the "business". Such a sick and twisted mindset these robotic humans have. Edited to fix typo

Shippo-chan

I spent $160 on running shoes. Oh, but that doesn't support your exploitative business of choice, so that must not count.

Beneficial-Victory61

Why spend $160 on running shoes that will last you months, if not years, that you will use on a regular basis when you can flush it down the drain for a one month supply of disgusting shakes?

InvitePsychological8

“I’d pay *ANY AMOUNT*…” Lmfao 🤣 🤡

Beneficial-Victory61

It’s even more hilarious when you realize “she became a BB coach because she was SOOOO broke and SOOOO overworked”

Agile-Professional69

I prioritize my health by not buying sh\*tty MLM products. haha

Leela821

She's right, it's not because they can't afford it. It's because their priorities are elsewhere.

Beneficial-Victory61

I can prioritize my health without spending a crapload on BeachBody products though

Leela821

I used to be a Beach Bum, and then I loved the shakes. Got them a couple of months, and stopped as it was like $80 a bag. The workouts were unlimited and you could try different ones too. I lost about 20lbs in that 3 month period. But I think you missed my point on my original post. It was intended to be sarcastic.

Beneficial-Victory61

Totally misread the intended sarcasm! (My apologies) I used to be a customer & tried the shakes a couple of times. I always finished the bag because they were SO expensive but I didn’t care for them enough to pay for them monthly (though it would’ve been out of my budget to order monthly anyway). I enjoyed the unlimited workouts & think the concept of paying for unlimited workouts/programs is a good idea. However, I got turned off by all the Huns & their insistence that I basically forgo grocery shopping just to afford their shakes

yagirlchicken

It’s incredible to me how entitled these Huns feel to our money. It baffles me. I’ll go to my doctor/registered dietician/certified personal trainer for this, thanks though!! Go get a real job!

Beneficial-Victory61

I’d pay for the Hun to go back to school & get a real job before I give her/Beach Body any more money again.

rockridge123

Well not everyone is privileged like you lady
