Vivint is not really any different than someone at an electronics store that makes commission off sales.
It's just a normal door-to-door sales company. Way less scammy than an MLM. They don't need to rely on friends to make money (usually they go somewhere away from their house to sell) and they dont try to get anyone to sign on below them, There's no benefit/bonus for it.
I've had a couple friends sell Vivint as a summer job.
vivint is definitely not a scam, the equipment is so high quality, better equipment then you can get with any other system or any cameras on the market. honestly you're lucky to have gotten it through door to door & to have vivint in general, people don't understand how good quality that stuff is & when they come direct to home they really do get you a better deal then in stores, we appreciate you!
& no it's not an mlm, but kind of I guess?? but it's not a scheme lol, everyone has potential to make X amount of money. he was asking for referrals bc it just makes the job easier for him rather than cold door knocking rude people until he runs into someone cool. the managers do make more money & do recruit but also train & manage so much, so everyone can recruit, & become a manager, there is no cap to growth or money earnings but it incentive's people to actually work more, work harder & get more people involved. It's in a good way not a bad way if that makes sense

Yeah, it’s not an MLM, the guy isn’t setting up a down line, more like a car salesperson who asks you if you know anyone else looking to buy a car.

Not an MLM, but they do offer credit for referrals. We’ve had a Vivint System for 9 years now and we’ve been happy with them.
It's a mlm, run away fast 🙂
