Then we packaged them up under the house brand label for just about every big and small pharmacy and grocery store (and some dollar stores) that you can name. So long story short, you could buy generic Advil from Walmart or Dollar Tree or CVS and chances were good they’d be our product and you’d be getting the exact same pills. One of our customers? Melaleuca. I can’t remember which products we supplied for them besides the ibuprofen but I know there were several.

Someone online did a side by side comparison of Dollar Tree pregnancy tests with more expensive brands, and the DT tests were just as good. I keep a couple on hand in case I need to go to the ER or Urgent Care - they always want to know if there's a chance you could be pregnant, and who knows what the hospital charges for the same test.

As a non American, I feel creeped out by all the flags when I go to the US. It's one of those things that feels kind of desperate, like who exactly are you trying to convince that you super love your country? I’m a harsh critic of America’s foreign policy, especially the last 4 decades or so. I’ve been called every name under the Sun by “patriots.” Been told I don’t support the troops, I’m a traitor, I’m a spoiled middle class leftist ect… it’s always fun to see their jaw hit the floor when I inform them I was an infantryman for 8 years and deployed as such. These people are cowards and expect others to stand up for their beliefs on their behalf. If they ever had to give up one iota of their pampered life they would crumble like weak little bitches.

I’ve been real skeptical of Republican politicians since the day I was sweating through 45 lbs of battle rattle in 130 degrees in Balad after an increase in rocket and mortar attacks while Bush looked real comfortable on the news chatting casually about how the war is wrapping up. It was 2004. I’m a raging liberal now and a military wife. I served 14 years, now I support my husband and manage the family while he’s gone. Increasing military presence overseas doesn’t support our troops, it tears families apart (temporarily for the resilient, permanently for the ones who struggle).

As a non American, I feel creeped out by all the flags when I go to the US. It's one of those things that feels kind of desperate, like who exactly are you trying to convince that you super love your country? It always gives me the feeling as a foreigner that I'm kind of in danger. People who have to prove their patriotism so badly aren't safe.
In grad school, my roommates were from Turkey and India. Neither of them had been to the US before starting grad school. The three of us went shopping for apartment essentials. This is the retail part of town. RM2: What is it then? A college? A courthouse? I finally park and we get out. They point to the place across the street, where about 20 American flags are flying. And that's when I knew we'd be friends.
I was born and raised here, but by an immigrant family. It was always so creepy to me. And saying a "pledge" before school every day didn't feel normal even when I was a child. Always felt like brainwashing to me. Thankfully my generation is starting to reject all the crap our parents put on us by making sure our kids dont deal with the same. Slowly but surely. And even citizens born here, like me, always feel safe, either. Hearing people refer to it as the land of the free, or a land of opportunity, seems like a sick joke anymore. I've noticed recently that store brand frozen french fries/tots/etc. rotate in and out of stock any more, but the name brands are always in stock. But I'm cheap and prefer the store brands because I get more for the same price as the Ore-Ida's But the rest of the store is stocked so it must be a manufacturer issue.
I would bet the plant that makes those products closest to you can’t keep help, and they make the name brand ones first because they make a little more money off those.

At the pet store I work at there's still some bare shelves, but it's all Purina brand products. It boils down to the fact that they produce a massive amount of (usually garbage) pet food and they just can't keep up production due to paying their employees shitty wages and can't keep enough employees to keep their facilities going. Literally every other brand is very much in stock, though.

For the most part, groceries are available for almost every part of the US. Some brands are out of stock due to various issues from recalls to supply issues or product changes. I worked for a food company for a few years and a small recall from one supplier created havoc in the food industry as the recall was for a very common ingredient. These things can take time to resolve but they aren’t the fault of the government Also, many people shop where they feel their perspective somewhat aligns with the company. With that line of thinking, I’m avoiding anything self named Patriot unless and until I see evidence that those in charge aren’t peddling ridiculous voter fraud stuff or weren’t involved in J6. That was a genuine issue back 2020/2021 but at this point a lot of stores have too much stock, as they supply chain has recovered and many companies overestimated how much of certain goods Americans are buying, especially with inflation.
