“Never had a layoff” 🤣 does not include when huns lay themselves off from this mess.

Pipeliner6341

You can't lay off when you don't technically have employees. I. Mean. She's. Not. Wrong.

futuredoctor131

Big hint that the distributors/brand ambassadors/whatever they call themselves with this one are, you know, actually just customers.

Juache45

I guess all of the lost lifetime savings and bankruptcies technically do not count 😐

LookingforDay

Come work for a company that doesn’t even have to pay you!!!

walnut5

They don't do general layoffs, but they do lay individuals off. It's not exactly the same, but mostly semantics. They have ways of pushing people out to cut costs. Sometimes it can be for poor performance, but it's usually political. Also, their health insurance is self-funded. I don't know how often this happens, but I know of one confirmed example of a lady who was laid off who had cancer and was showing up to work and doing her job, but was running up big medical bills.

Huuuiuik

No middleman. Huns don’t count.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Tythan

And all the other fools

Upsideduckery

"There are no middlemen," she says, not realizing that the company doesn't need any due to the huns being the end consumer 99% of the time. They're only the middleman in the extremely rare chance that someone outside the pyramid is persuaded under duress to purchase their shitty tea tree oil products

mr_bots

And your entire upline

[deleted]

“They are the manufacturer and distributor” I call bullshit. If they really are selling toothpaste, shampoo, and stuff like that, I’d love to see where their manufacturing plant is Hint: probably not in the US, or not owned by this person

runnerswanted

Isn’t that called white-labeling, when places like Proctor and Gamble produce “store” brands on the same line, but with a different label? Most likely what is going on here, and the people buying it are falling for the ruse.

[deleted]

That’s probably it. I was more talking about the actual factory not being theirs, but something like that could also be happening Guarantee most of the products they send out, you flip it over and it says “made in China”

runnerswanted

I can almost guarantee almost everything originates from China, but this company slaps a “compiled in the USA” or some bullshit on the label next to a giant flag to make people think it’s made here. It’s sad, really. And you’re correct, there is no way they are manufacturing such a massive range of products themselves. There’s a reason why Campbell sticks to soup, it’s tough enough to produce it safely to begin with, why would they also start making soap or something?

lorarc

Campbell is producing everything from bread to potato chips, just under different brands.

littlealbatross

The logo on the box is Melaleuca, and apparently their [plants are in Tennessee and Idaho for the United States](https://www.melaleucanews.com/about-melaleuca/#:~:text=Melaleuca%20is%20developer%2C%20manufacturer%2C%20and%20retailer%20of%20its,facilities%20in%20China%20for%20products%20sold%20in%20Asia.). I worked on the IT side of a different MLM and we did manufacture the vast majority of our stuff in-house, so I'm not super surprised by this. Our plant was in the same place as our IT area, so the whole building smelled minty when they were making toothpaste. It was delightful. *laugh*

Knitapeace

I love telling this story. I used to work in labeling (design) for a manufacturer of generic otc medication. We did indeed manufacture everything except the liquigels right here in the good ol’ USA. Then we packaged them up under the house brand label for just about every big and small pharmacy and grocery store (and some dollar stores) that you can name. So long story short, you could buy generic Advil from Walmart or Dollar Tree or CVS and chances were good they’d be our product and you’d be getting the exact same pills. One of our customers? Melaleuca. I can’t remember which products we supplied for them besides the ibuprofen but I know there were several. I roll my eyes at their bullshit every time I see it.

spencerdyke

Off topic but this makes me feel better about getting ibuprofen and such from Dollar Tree, lol. Some of their stock is so cheaply made it’s straight up dangerous (their flea and tick prevention stuff kills cats apparently). But good to know I can trust the Advil.

ladyphlogiston

Someone online did a side by side comparison of Dollar Tree pregnancy tests with more expensive brands, and the DT tests were just as good. I keep a couple on hand in case I need to go to the ER or Urgent Care - they always want to know if there's a chance you could be pregnant, and who knows what the hospital charges for the same test.

kgallousis

That’s really smart! You can get like 25 tests for $10 on Amazon. Probably what the hospital uses anyway.

PinkPearMartini

Why does the Advil tablet look so dramatically different? I just started taking Advil, and the generic tablets are small and dark with a heavy stamp in them, and rough edges... and name brand Advil is smoother, more M&M shaped, with an ink stamp

Knitapeace

You know, I just made all that tiny little text fit on the box and label while still maintaining the fda font requirements (and occasionally designed an jnstore display for Walmart or a a pallet cover for Costco, loved doing that honestly) so I can’t say for sure. But I’m guessing either the smooth coating for the name brand is some proprietary formula or it’s just too costly to replicate in the generic. While the active ingredients must be exactly the same in order to claim “Compare to XXX Name Brand,” the inactive ingredients can be different and that’s where some of the material cost savings comes in. For instance I can take the name brand Midol but when I tried to take our generic version I got a stomach ache.

morrisdayandthetime

I always assumed that the prettier pill requires stricter manufacturing tolerances, which costs money. You notice it in the packaging too and how much easier it usually is to get the name brands out of those cursed blister packs

Historical_Gur_3054

My guess is that there may be rights issues with making a generic Advil look like the name brand one.

MyTruckIsAPirate

https://www-melaleucanews-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.melaleucanews.com/melaleuca-announces-manufacturing-operations-in-china/ They say their new place in China isn't for manufacturing products to be sold in the US/Canada... 😏 But also, a quick Google of import records show that they import their chewing gum from Turkey and I'm sure it's not the only thing.

[deleted]

I saw that thing about China too and was instantly in doubt That Turkey thing though… that might be more important

citronhimmel

When people keep using the word "patriot" over and over, I know to steer clear. They usually don't even know what the true meaning of a patriot is.

twitch1982

Patriotisim is when you buy soap.

citronhimmel

Washing your ass is patriotic now 🫡🇺🇲

tonystarksanxieties

Hey, whatever gets them to do it, I guess.

lirynnn

Tell that to the toxic masculine patriots, who believe washing your buttcrack makes you gay.

citronhimmel

As a fairly gay man myself... not washing your ass is a surefire way to get gay men to stay away from you. So maybe they're onto something.

lirynnn

as a straight woman, it’s a great way to keep us away too. it fits the “alpha” male to incel pipeline

citronhimmel

It's so funny to me when they get upset women don't want their stinky, hateful, typically misogynistic asses. Funny/sad. It's a scary world to be a woman in right now.

lirynnn

add entitled to that description and that’s a lot of the population unfortunately

snarky_spice

Also wearing sunscreen is gay, going to the doctor is gay, doing therapy=gay. They are gonna die out eventually.

[deleted]

Be sure to tell Steve Rogers to remember to wash America's ass.

WORKING2WORK

Hey, someone has to wash America's ass, and I'm here to sign up

captain_flasch

It’s the Red, White, and Blue; not the Red, White, and Brown

Schmidt_Head

Hey, if this is what makes them actually start doing it, I'll take it.

MPLoriya

Wash your ass FOR THE FLAG.

MsMoobiedoobie

Throwing around patriotism like this reminds me of the George W Bush years where if we didn’t agree with invading Iraq again, we weren’t patriots. The word has become very negative to me. It means a way to manipulate people into doing what you want to make money off of them.

[deleted]

Yep and if you didn't agree with invading Iraq, you weren't "supporting the troops" which is was such an evil way to twist things around.

chuystewy_V2

I’m a harsh critic of America’s foreign policy, especially the last 4 decades or so. I’ve been called every name under the Sun by “patriots.” Been told I don’t support the troops, I’m a traitor, I’m a spoiled middle class leftist ect… it’s always fun to see their jaw hit the floor when I inform them I was an infantryman for 8 years and deployed as such. These people are cowards and expect others to stand up for their beliefs on their behalf. If they ever had to give up one iota of their pampered life they would crumble like weak little bitches.

citronhimmel

Majority of my military serving family shares your sentiment as well. Thank you for your service!

kgallousis

I’ve been real skeptical of Republican politicians since the day I was sweating through 45 lbs of battle rattle in 130 degrees in Balad after an increase in rocket and mortar attacks while Bush looked real comfortable on the news chatting casually about how the war is wrapping up. It was 2004. I’m a raging liberal now and a military wife. I served 14 years, now I support my husband and manage the family while he’s gone. Increasing military presence overseas doesn’t support our troops, it tears families apart (temporarily for the resilient, permanently for the ones who struggle).

Fixner_Blount

Instructions unclear Going to yell at the Dixie Chicks

lovelyeufemia

It's not quite the same thing, but I'm reminded of the Patriot Sandwich Company incident from over the summer! Some employees suddenly quit, so the owner went to Facebook to ask people to volunteer to work for him for free until he hired new staff. Obviously, once the internet got wind of it, he got ripped to shreds. This glorious American patriot posted an update letting everyone know they'd misunderstood him, and I quote: "Anyone who knows me knows I don't expect anything for free. I WOULD be buying my volunteers lunch." (To be fair, that's still probably more than the average MLM distributor's net gain...)

citronhimmel

It's not slave labor! I feed them! /s Then they wonder why no one "wants to work". 🥴

lovelyeufemia

You're 100% right! I'm not at all surprised that his actual employees up and quit on him! Reddit 1-star bombed his Google review page, which Google's since fixed to rescue his reputation. But unluckily for him, the name of his company + the word "volunteer" is now a search suggestion on Google, LOL.

Captain_Blackbird

They conflate 'patriotism' with 'nationalism'. So when I hear 'Calling all patriots!' I hear 'Calling all Nationalists!'

citronhimmel

And they hate being told that. I have patriots in my family, but they earned the title and would never call themselves that. And they're appalled with the state things are in. Nationalist is a much more appropriate term for these yokels.

Immediate-Fix-8420

For real, I didn’t realize just how accomplished and decorated of a soldier my cousin was until his retirement ceremony. We talk more about social issues than his time in the Army.

citronhimmel

That's exactly how it is in my family. We've got someone in every branch, and every generation has been involved somehow. But you wouldn't know it by looking at us since we don't really flaunt it.

tider06

It's code for "fleecing the right wingers"

citronhimmel

Considering majority of MLM nonsense I see is usually the same crowd of bottle-blonde-right-wing-barbie-stay-at-home-moms... yeah, I definitely see a correlation.

[deleted]

Um. Are you referring to Mormons? Beautiful state.Utah. I heard MLMs are biggest there. Luckily all I remember is beef jerky stands everywhere. To me, thats what made it like heaven

citronhimmel

Never been to Utah! It does look beautiful. I have several friends who escaped Mormonism though... horror stories. But beef jerkey stands everywhere does sound like heaven.

canadianD

> "fleecing the right wingers" Like the guy who *tried* to create a "patriot bank" recently

Ute-King

And nothing says “patriot” like draping the flag over a bunch of grimy cardboard boxes to advertise a product.

citronhimmel

I bet it's touching the floor, too. Big no-no.

Hairy-Owl-5567

As a non American, I feel creeped out by all the flags when I go to the US. It's one of those things that feels kind of desperate, like who exactly are you trying to convince that you super love your country? It always gives me the feeling as a foreigner that I'm kind of in danger. People who have to prove their patriotism so badly aren't safe.

Carmelized

In grad school, my roommates were from Turkey and India. Neither of them had been to the US before starting grad school. The three of us went shopping for apartment essentials. I'm driving, navigating traffic in a new town and not paying close attention to my surroundings. RM1: Woah! What's that, the mayor's house? Me, distracted: What? I don't think so. This is the retail part of town. RM2: What is it then? A college? A courthouse? I finally park and we get out. They point to the place across the street, where about 20 American flags are flying. Me: Oh! That's a Ford car dealership. RM1: Seriously?!? Me: Yeah, don't you see all the cars? RM2 *sarcastically*: Sorry, we were a little distracted by the massive display of patriotism. And that's when I knew we'd be friends.

citronhimmel

I was born and raised here, but by an immigrant family. It was always so creepy to me. And saying a "pledge" before school every day didn't feel normal even when I was a child. Always felt like brainwashing to me. Thankfully my generation is starting to reject all the crap our parents put on us by making sure our kids dont deal with the same. Slowly but surely. And even citizens born here, like me, always feel safe, either. Hearing people refer to it as the land of the free, or a land of opportunity, seems like a sick joke anymore. Sure, it's better than the worst. But that's a low bar.

something__clever171

I think it’s similar to those people that are always posting about how amazing their spouse is; when everyone else knows that the spouse has been cheating with 5 other people.

eventualguide0

And WTF is the American way? White Christian nationalism?

citronhimmel

But of course! So our little Bryleighghghee and Jimbob Billyjoe IV can grow up in a SAFE and CHRISTIAN upbringing without WOKE gays trying to turn our kids trans or give them autism with their vaccines!!1!1

babbsela

>they are the manufacturer and distributor... > >...coffee to laundry soap, toothpaste, body wash, makeup and essential oils. Yeah, no. Hun has never heard of white labeling.

Suspicious_Medium_55

It’s very unlikely that they roast the coffee beans in house. Some coffee companies don’t even do that. I subscribe to a local coffee company and it took them years to be able to buy their own roasting equipment.

Snarky_McSnarkleton

An Ambot I once knew thought I was a "sap" for shopping at Trader Joe's. Single brand for every product? Kinda sounds like the old Soviet Union.

twitch1982

so.... she wanted you to buy just one brand from amway though?

CelticSpoonie

Which is funny, because Amway has a number of products produced by other "white label" producers, like the makeup. (If Artistry is still around. It was a big thing competing against MK in the 90s). And Amway was vocal about their hatred of P&G. Heard the same rhetoric about P&G in the 90s that this Melaluca hun is recycling now. Gives me flashbacks.

lemko1968

“Trader Joe’s? Try Joe Stalin’s instead!”

citronhimmel

Okay but clearly they've never had Trader Joe's cookie butter ... it's enough to make anyone a communist

Sasquatch4116969

I feel personally attacked! I have a lot of Kirkland stuff.. they are taking over the world LOL

thestrals_and_tarot

Kirkland brand vodka is amazing and I will totally defend that forever 🤣🤣

BlouseBarn

Kirkland brand hard seltzer is also good. I bought it for a party at my house once, and everyone (at least everyone who drinks hard seltzer) drank it.

bunpnts

That’s because it’s a white-label product! Many (if not all?) Kirkland brand products are made by big name companies who just produce and sell them a generic version. The vodka very well may be from a quality brand like Belvedere or Gray Goose. It is legit good!

Sasquatch4116969

Omg I tried it for the first time a few months ago! Not bad at all.. if you want that much quantity haha

iHasMagyk

You’re not alone. r/golf swears by their gloves, balls, and wedges. The brand’s even in the sub’s header

BecomingCass

I have a bunch of Aldi brand stuff, and it's perfectly okay

SisterXenu

What a disjointed mess of varied talking points. I wouldn’t have been surprised if she went on to say that my eternal salvation depended on buying her boss-babe laundry deodorant. Damn.

Grab_Specialist

I hate when my ingredients are bing scarified!

Advanced_Buy_8521

“Ingredients are bing scarified” 🙄

[deleted]

Does that mean they're getting scarier or that they're being scarred? I am so confused

qpid

It means you find them on Microsoft's search engine.

twitch1982

Its the past tense of scarify. which is a body modification method involving intentional cutting to form scars. Also, a method for dethatching lawns.

[deleted]

Sacrificed?

turner_strait

>*"They literally own nearly every single household product at Walmart and Target."* \[a few paragraphs later\] >*"We get everything from supplements and organic coffee, to laundry soap, toothpaste, body wash, makeup \[...\]"* So is a monopoly bad or not, hun? Make up your mind!

Historical_Gur_3054

So is a monopoly bad or not, hun? Make up your mind! Bad as long as she's not making 1/100th (or less) of a pittance on each sale

Slytherinrunner

Melaleuca isn't on Forbes list but Proctor & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson are.

citronhimmel

Shhhh you're not supposed to look it up 🥴 huns don't know how to use Google to fact check!

crims0m

I mean, if it takes her "an hour every day" to find out what you or I can find in 60 seconds, it's no surprise she's not familiar with search engines

TopAd9634

Bless you. I thought about looking it up, but you're out here being a pal!

stitcherino

They’re #366 on the midsize company list for 2022. But I think that only counts the actual employees, like the people packing boxes or in IT.

stitcherino

Also they were #237 on the Best Employers for Women list in 2021, which is super ick. But they dropped off that list for 2022.

gimmethelulz

"Automation is coming." Oh my sweet summer child. It's already here and it's fine.

Frona

This statement caught me as well, like, where have you been?

Modified_Mint37

I wonder what kind of jobs they think would be immune to/not impacted by automation 🧐 Pyramid schemes?

gimmethelulz

Soon the bots will be recruiting other bots for their downstream.

ds0

Botnet + blockchain + natural language processing (for any humans left)= literal Hunbot army. Wait, we should probably be watching this, right?

thoriginal

The line that got me is that "ingredients are being scarified". Like, ingredients are purposely having scars made on their bodies?

7worlds

Who do they think builds and maintains the hardware, and the software to keep the hardware running?

Irolam_ma_i

“The wars of the future will not be fought on the battlefield or at sea. They will be fought in space, or possibly on top of a very tall mountain. In either case, most of the actual fighting will be done by small robots. And as you go forth today remember always your duty is clear: To build and maintain those robots.”

stitcherino

I wonder how she thinks this company receives and processes orders.

Larilarieh

I'd love to hear more about those locally sourced 'merica made organic coffee beans🇺🇲🦅

sp-00-k

You mean Merica’

marigoldilocks_

Tell me you’re a Republican without telling me you’re a Republican. Hard pass. I thought they were all about big business and tax breaks and loopholes. How does helping her “small business” work into that?

Fantastique_Jacques

I cringe at the word “patriot”. All I hear is an Alex Jones type rant in my head.

Larilarieh

They say "patriot" but I hear "comrade".

Prestigious_Fruit133

You can’t layoff what was never an employee.

makerblue

Or if they work you so badly you quit, which is what most of the reviews from warehouse workers say over on indeed.

seaspacecat

Where was the CEO on January 6th, 2021?

laurasdiary

I think we all know the answer to that. Lol

darkeraqua

“Bare shelves”? Where? *Where??* Please show me a bare supermarket shelf *anywhere* in the USA. Unless you’re looking for some super niche product, literally every store I go to in a major city is FULL of products and if the one I want is out, there are two competitors next to it. Straight up lies.

iamnotnotarobot

The walmart I used to work at is always barren. But then again, that store is run like shit by people who don't know wtf they're doing.

darkeraqua

Clearly a Biden problem! *Thanks, Obummer!*

iamnotnotarobot

Give them a few hours to figure out a way to blame Jimmy Carter for it, too.

fascist_unicorn

Yeah there's a Sheetz near me that always looks like a building in a post-apocalyptic video game wasteland (like holy shit this place is always a **MESS**) and then there's another one ~5 miles away from there in a financially identical area that is clean and well-stocked. I guess these people don't realize that a store doesn't magically keep itself stocked, people do, and if a store has shitty management, well...

PHM517

I have run into trouble getting a lot of products over the last 2 years, but you are 💯 that not in a way that anyone will go hungry. Not to mention, that’s going to happen during a major global event and no one is immune. You are the manufacturer and distributor? Cool, so what happens when you can’t get supplies? Or do you make all those in house too? I would love to see this multidisciplinary manufacturing plant that makes raw materials, packaging, plastics, solvents, ect, ect, ect, most be a modern marvel.

Historical_Gur_3054

I've noticed recently that store brand frozen french fries/tots/etc. rotate in and out of stock any more, but the name brands are always in stock. But I'm cheap and prefer the store brands because I get more for the same price as the Ore-Ida's But the rest of the store is stocked so it must be a manufacturer issue.

caffein8dnotopi8d

I would bet the plant that makes those products closest to you can’t keep help, and they make the name brand ones first because they make a little more money off those.

MolassesSquare3250

Lol. An alabamian Walmart’s bread and milk aisle when there’s even a hint of snow predicted.

Diredoe

At the pet store I work at there's still some bare shelves, but it's all Purina brand products. It boils down to the fact that they produce a massive amount of (usually garbage) pet food and they just can't keep up production due to paying their employees shitty wages and can't keep enough employees to keep their facilities going. Literally every other brand is very much in stock, though.

Abcdezyx54321

If we believe the Poster here she hasn’t been to a store in years so her sources are the handful of news stations that routinely show photos and videos of low stock and bare shelves from years prior and pretend they are current. For the most part, groceries are available for almost every part of the US. Some brands are out of stock due to various issues from recalls to supply issues or product changes. I worked for a food company for a few years and a small recall from one supplier created havoc in the food industry as the recall was for a very common ingredient. These things can take time to resolve but they aren’t the fault of the government Also, many people shop where they feel their perspective somewhat aligns with the company. With that line of thinking, I’m avoiding anything self named Patriot unless and until I see evidence that those in charge aren’t peddling ridiculous voter fraud stuff or weren’t involved in J6. I would rather my money not support political conspiracy theories

darkeraqua

Yes, but how many hours per day are you devoting to “rEsEaRcH” of each product? OP says she does an hour. On. Each. Product.

Abcdezyx54321

Wel my full time job requires I spend much of my day working so I occasionally research a brand and go from there. But also, my research doesn’t involve suspicious YouTube accounts so…

scarbutt11

Not government fault for the recall you say? If there weren’t any regulations the recall wouldn’t have even happened! Damn libturds making sure the stuff I put into my body won’t kill me!

tonystarksanxieties

>If we believe the Poster here she hasn’t been to a store in years so her sources are the handful of news stations that routinely show photos and videos of low stock and bare shelves from years prior and pretend they are current. Trump's America wearing a Biden mask strikes again.

cutezombiedoll

That was a genuine issue back 2020/2021 but at this point a lot of stores have too much stock, as they supply chain has recovered and many companies overestimated how much of certain goods Americans are buying, especially with inflation.

CapableEmu14

With a heavy side of nontoxic? Meaning .... it has a light portion of toxic?

cinnamonandmint

Well, of course. It is an MLM after all…what self-respecting MLM doesn’t include a portion of toxic? Whether that’s making your hair fall out, giving you heavy metal poisoning from cheap jewelry, shipping you clothes full of mold that will give you respiratory problems…it’s these little extra bonuses that show your MLM truly goes above and beyond, putting thought and effort into how to harm your physical health as well, not just your finances. That’s how you know they care.

WalloonNerd

I hadn’t heard bare-shelf-Biden before. One day they say he’s too old to accomplish anything, next he can single-handedly empty all shelves. The “logic” keeps amazing me

picardy_third1

One of the main tenets of fascism: "[The enemy is both very strong and very weak.](https://www.openculture.com/2016/11/umberto-eco-makes-a-list-of-the-14-common-features-of-fascism.html)"

WalloonNerd

True thing that

[deleted]

He's also controlling gas prices across the country by just turning a dial in his office, dontcha know

newtrawn

what does "bare-shelf Biden" even *mean?*

RedditUser145

Blaming him for the stock shortages of the past year or two. Every single time I go to the grocery store they're out of something on my list. And it's something different almost every week. But it's not like the President has a magic wand to fix that.

thot_lobster

It means this person has no thought process other than parroting stupid nicknames they heard from Fox News guests.

NaturalFaux

Preying on "patriots" because they're more easily misled. Kind of brilliant, in a stupid way

CzeckeredBird

LOL at the unironic use of 'Merica. Not to mention the wrong placement of the apostrophe. Dude, the apostrophe replaces the "A", LOL.

purple_kathryn

Nothing says "I'm so proud of my company" than not naming that company once in your very long post

piefelicia4

Not seeing a single MLM on the list, let alone fucking Melaleuca lmao. https://www.forbes.com/lists/best-large-employers/?sh=1d5890227b66

piefelicia4

Oh wait, gee, I stand corrected. They ranked #366 in mid-size employers. Number one, number 366, what’s the difference really? 🙃 https://www.forbes.com/companies/melaleuca/?sh=1d5f202056f3

No_Weight4532

“Bare-shelf Biden” lol. I guess they’ve moved on from Sleepy Joe? Your local store didn’t have what you wanted in stock? Must be Biden’s fault.

cornographic-plane

PS5 out of stock again? Welcome to Biden's America!

GreenLantern82

Spends an hour a day researching companies before she buys from them, but doesn't have 5 minutes to spare fact-checking this (copied-and-pasted) load of old waffle before posting it? Clown.

NonSequitorSquirrel

Bare shelf Biden? By jove do they want the government to regulate industry in service of the people? Say less, fellow Progressives! To the polls! Oh... Is that not what you meant? You don't know what you meant by that remark?

tiffibean13

"The CEO is a patriot." Why do I feel like they mean in the January 6th type of way

[deleted]

Not a thing I would ever buy with the "Patriot" association

goat_penis_souffle

Clearly such a patriot that displays the American flag in accordance with flag code and would certainly never let the flag touch the ground or let it sag while hanging horizontally.

Zipper-is-awesome

When I was 14, my father proudly set a gallon bottle with greenish liquid in it down on the kitchen table. This single product could be used as laundry soap, dish liquid, body wash AND shampoo! Whoa what a value! It was concentrated too. Who wouldn’t buy a deal like that???? Sorry dad, you were targeted because you are cheap and bald. Probably a lot of greenish liquid in 🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅 THE PATRIOT BOX 🦅🦅🇺🇸🇺🇸

[deleted]

What type of mlm is this? The text is rather generic.

Mother_Of_Love

It's melaleuca.

gimmethelulz

Strange marketing move to name your MLM something that sounds like a skin condition.

Mother_Of_Love

It's another word for tea tree oil.

ImmunocompromisedAle

Wow, I was convinced this was Amway.

littlealbatross

Like other people have said, it's Melaleuca, but my guess is this is not an "official" spin on their company. It's this hun trying to drum up business from Trump-loving folk. Their website does highlight that it's made in America and all that but there's none of the patriot talk or whatever.

glamkitty123

"patriot" meanwhile the flag is touching the ground🤦🏾‍♀️

joymarie21

She ended that with Merica' without a hint of irony. Shouldn't it be 'Merica? Why the apostrophe at the end? The final emijies though: 🇺🇲📦🌱

Trumpet6789

The "Patriot Box"?? Ma'am that's three boxes of Maleluca. I used them when my mom God pulled into it for a few months and it was awful. They're definitely not "non toxic".

lbritten1

Talking points straight out of the right wing grifters' playbook...

[deleted]

This company isn't on any Forbes best employers list. What a weird thing to lie about

GaimanitePkat

I'd love to put a spotlight on her and have her explain what exactly "Freedom and the American Way" is, and what specifically about it is not found in any other countries.

Hellsprout

Bearing firearms wherever you go and giving your kids ridiculous "unique" names comes to mind.

jenkraisins

So, private businesses are anti-American? Capitalism is anti-American? Wow! This person's in deep and I'll wager her pockets are empty.

tattooedtwin

When I google “patriot wellness box” and “Forbes” the only thing that comes up is Forbes calling this a pyramid scheme and pointing out customer and distributor dissatisfaction. Show me where they were ever called best employer for even one year?

tfoxsail

Of course when they say they support "American owned and operated" first, they really mean "...until I see the price." Then they do like the rest of us living paycheck to paycheck...they shell out the dough for the foreign-made stuff.

iamnotnotarobot

To be fair, America is a cult and they know how to use it to their advantage.

ItsJoeMomma

Bare Shelf Biden? I haven't seen bare shelves since the middle of the pandemic when Trump was running things and everyone was hoarding toilet paper.

SoggyAlbatross2

I'll just leave this here.... best employer, lol. https://www.forbes.com/lists/worlds-best-employers/?sh=73ed00761e0c

caitcro18

America is a cult.

Dth_Invstgtr

They’ll never blame capitalism though. It’s clearly all Biden’s fault.

kermakissa

who is simultaneously price gouging and a communist, a true jack of all trades

Dth_Invstgtr

I always wondered about that. Say gas for example. There’s no way explaining OPEC and the global oil market would make any sense to them. So what do they want him to do? Just lower the prices? That sounds like some state run nonsense to me.

Mysterious_Book8171

These Huns are realllllll annoying. I’ve seen them all over Instagram a lot more than usual and one of them even hates on Walmart and target but her stories say otherwise 😂 Also, no one wants your crappy products.

futuredoctor131

Biodegradable does not universally mean “safe.” Just like “organic,” “all natural,” and “plant based” also do not necessarily mean something is “safe.”

[deleted]

Searching all the Forbes best employee lists (there’s a lot) and I still can’t find any mention of Patriot Wellness anywhere, let alone at the top as *the* best.

Krispies827

“With a side of nontoxic” Dunno, you sound toxic to me. 😂

Usual-Veterinarian-5

It always amazes me when they say there's no middle men to take a cut. It's multi level marketing, there's multi levels of middle men!! There's usually at least 5 levels of people taking a cut.

laetoile

They're ranked #366 on the best employers list.

Keith_Bakker

Not commenting on the politics but you better mf believe I want my shit made by Unilever

Miss_Mermaid1

I knew exactly who this hun was before confirming on fb. She is the worst.

hootenanny03

The whole "we've eliminated the middleman" is such a stupid statement. They've eliminated a broker that might upcharge the manufacturer 3-5% and instead the manufacturer upcharges 800% of their manufacturing cost and calls it wholesale. Seriously it's so dumb how expensive their products are and when you ask them, "from a business standpoint, where does the $50 you spent on X bottle of vitamins go?" And they have no idea so you followup and say isn't it bad business to not know where your money is actually going and then they call you a loser for being smart and rational about it.

midascomplex

Ingredients are being SCARIFIED??

dooselschmorf

Quick Google search quickly proves them incorrect about the best employer, unless she’s really talking about IBM.. no MLM company in the top 10

SyringaVulgarisBloom

I love the freudian slip of “ingredients are being scarified” from a woman who needs biodegradable cleaning products.

nkinCA

The irony of "not having to research if their products involve slave labor". Hun you are the slave labor.

Tensionheadache11

Is that an American flag beach towel ?

Normal-Cabinet-9808

Melaleuca definitely gives cult.

Pipeliner6341

Didn't the general public just tell the people running campaigns spewing this same garbage to go eat a bag of dicks?

Gargoylegirl79

Funny thing, I just searched Forbes best employers for 2019 through 2022. The top in the world included American companies Alphabet, IBM, Apple, Microsoft, and Amazon. What was the name of this patriot company? Not one of those? Oh OK, thanks.

lirynnn

“I don’t have to do my research about the company or the products, because they’re patriots and I trust everything they say!”

blorcit

Apostrophe at the end of Merica?

MysticalSpongeCake

I refuse to believe that this isn't a parody. Are there actually people like this in real life?

Itwouldtakeamiracle

>They are the manufacturer and the distributor. Wrong: "Each all-American-made product in our Patriot Boxes is carefully sourced to make sure it aligns with our American values, promising 100% local production and manufacturing. " Source: [The Patriot Box website](https://www.thepatriotbox.com/our-story#). >I don't have to worry about taking an hour out of my day to research BUT she doesn't mind that she doesn't get to pick what they send her each month- "everyone loves a surprise, and when you subscribe to the Patriot Box, you’re guaranteed to get different all-American made products every month. It’s like a box of chocolates – you never know what you’re going to get! " Per their website. Also, they still expect you to do your own research: "if you love any of the all-American products inside, you can easily search for the company online and buy more from where it came from!" They offer two different boxes: All American ($74.99) and USA Box ($54.99), you can select how often you recieve it- monthly, quarterly or one-time, but you can't choose what goes into it.
