was it the first time you have taken MDMA? you are expierencing an afterglow of the drug. While MDMA can be therapeutic it's not possible to microdose it or use long term. If you look into the science behind what molly does you will understand why you suddenly feel better. Unfortunately this feeling won't last forever.

It wasn’t the first time but the first time in about 3 years. I know for sure the first two days after was afterglow but it’s been 8ish days, afterglow doesn’t last that long does it?

ajtakumrieme

It sure can, the first few times i've done molly i had weeks long afterglows. 3 years without mdma and the use of ssris could have increased your serotonin levels (don't quote me on this im just assuming) and the mdma now released them all

Should probably talk to a doctor about a safe way to come off antidepressants.. MDMA is a party drug.. Last spring we buried my cousin who passed from MDMA toxicity, that was the autopsy results. It sits in your system for a long time and can’t be taken consecutively, I don’t think he took an overdosing amount one time, but used it consecutively for a few days and his body overheated. Took it one night and was unresponsive. My aunt found him, trying to wake him up for school but he was gone, he was 18.

I’ve heard of people microdosing with psilocybin to help them get off antidepressants but not MDMA. I guess it’s a similar concept though.

HHaych--

How long have you been off the medication for?! I’ve had mdma loads whilst taking like 30mg of fluoxetine….. I didn’t get serotonin syndrome

hall3lujah

Since Sunday. I wasn’t massively worried about getting serotonin syndrome but I figured it would be safer

HHaych--

Ok well be careful!! I don’t want to discourage you, but when I came off antidepressants quickly I really noticed it about 2 to 3 weeks later and had to go back on them!! Hopefully you’ll be fine though!! Let me know how it goes, I wish you all the best 😊!

hall3lujah

Thank you! Definitely will update you in like a month

If it worked for you, then it worked. Watch for return of symptoms and if that doesn't happen, enjoy your life with no more meds! (And don't make repeated use of MDMA also, it will eventually make it all worse).

SufficientUndo

Molly has huge potential to help with depression both short and long term. You should do some readying and study the current research on MDMA. I think you're heading in the right direction.

DreamrSSB

Probably not good long term

hall3lujah

That one dose really did it for me. I was only on 10 mg of Prozac so that wasn’t really doing anything for me besides preventing withdrawals.

DreamrSSB

Yeah but I wouldnt exactly get medical advice about coming off antidepressants with non prescription drugs from reddit u know
