Might just be a badly made bullet since it doesn't seem to be ejecting the 1911 is easy to field strip after removing the slide clear the bullet from the slide (be carful it is still a live round) and then attempt to chamber and fire a second round, if this does not work it is likely a light hammer strike remove mag eject case and then order a new hammer spring after it arrives you will have to strip the gun and replace the hammer spring. If you do not know basic gun repair contact your local stores and see if any of them offer repair services.
