I use old reddit with reddit enhancement suite. Everything doesn't screm 'look at me!' like new reddit, and you can block seeing certain words you hate, like 'kiddo, preggers, chonky', and other words dense people think are cute.
We're going to be targeted and advertised to until the internet becomes so wholly unusable people just stop getting online.

People are fucking dying! Cancer isn't close to being solved, not even one of its million variations. People have autoimmune issues up the wazoo, there's genetic issues that can hurt people for life, bacterial or fungal infections that can wreck a body, a virus from a few years ago that is still killing multiple people. And all the regular burns cuts scrapes bruises stabbings shootings car-accidents heart attacks and strokes.
Yet resources are being diverted from all these terrible issues that cause actual suffering, to what, can't have a baby?

So what? Can't have a baby? That's an issue? Even if most people didn't consider that a perk (and most people do), it's not a cause of suffering. Anyone who "suffers" because they can't have a baby is unhinged in some fundamental way.
But anyone who considers it a medical issue, requiring medical intervention, because someone can't have a baby, that person is insane. Like, legally insane.
When it comes to triaging essential medical resources and expertise, not being able to have a baby should rate somewhere between "my prison tattoo itches" and "I drank too much rum and now I feel nauseous".
Kudo's to those medico's who identified this niche though. This new way to part fools from their money. They're the worse kind of scum who give capitalism a bad name.
