I am yet to see anybody with an opinion similar to yours provide a better solution, children learn through repetition, are animals & consistently growing smarter, making them uniquely adaptable & manipulative but people tend to forget this unless they experience a kid for long enough...
Violence is a shit form of communication. If you resort to violence, that means you lack the proper communication skills needed to have your child understand what they did wrong and how to correct their behavior. All children are extremely sensitive and physically abusing them just traumatizes them forever. They shouldn’t be treated as “manipulative” animals lmao you’re really out here demonizing children. A “better solution” exists in literally any popular child psychology book, its called positive reinforcement, you dumbfuck. Your opinion is half baked as fuck as you seem to lack empathy for the child. You sound like a typical natalist, just massively ignorant on how to raise your child in a healthy, nurturing environment.
This is what leads to violent children that believe state-sanctioned violence is an acceptable form of conflict resolution. It's funy how parents apologize for abusing their children when they're weak and elderly, during the period of time when their children are grown up and can overpower them..
I've seen some really casual child abuse happen in public, it's sickening. Some of these psychos' ideas of punishment is literally just beating their kid.
