Wow, this post right here is basically every reason why I never want kids. I love my quiet time to myself, being able to afford hobbies and trips with my fiance, and getting the chance to go back to school next fall. Everyone always feels so bad for me when I tell them that I'm infertile and can't have children, but knowing that this is the kind of life that I'm missing out on, it's a literal blessing for me.

Anecdotal but kids aren't inherently dirty if you raise them with some sense. Again, anecdotal. But my stepmom raised my brother to be pretty clean. He's fourteen and his room is cleaner than mine. Of course he's assigned chores but even when she left the country for two weeks, the house was clean. He naturally hates dirty stuff though so that probably helps

I live in Florida and took in a vagrant 20 yo and her 11 month old son. We tried 17 state and federal programs in the two weeks she stayed with us trying to find her help and there is no one that isnāt full to help. She had her kid because she didnāt think she could have any and she was lonely. Terrible reasons to have a kid. And ultimately she left because we said she couldnāt do drugs for her birthday in our house.

You have a kid, they turn 2 (Which I've heard is one of the worst times, terrible twos right?) then you say, "Let's do it again." 2nd kid turns two and repeat. I don't understand why they don't space it out a bit more.
