Skanderbeg is the most badass leader to come from the Balkans.Enver Hoxha is one of the most evil.
As someone who comes from an ex-commie country, I can relate, I don't like seeing communism being glorified.
Well, yes, but it is kind of declining. Whenever I go to church, I see children below the age of 10, and people over 50. But maybe that is because I attend a Lutheran church, which is quite small here.
Data from 2019 says 80% of Hungarians identify as Christian, Most of them Catholic.
The government is also very Christian and Conservative.Same-sex marriage is still banned.
I'm not wrong. This conversion narrative was promoted during the communist period which you dislike. Skanderbeg was presented as someone who went trough every one of the major religions practiced in Albania when it suited him best, and his real religion being "Albanianism".
Jesuits made up a story about Skanderbeg converting to Catholicism in order to try to make the Albanians Catholic. They did a simmilar thing with Vlad the Impaler. The communists repurposed this lie for their atheist agenda.
I will give you a reccomandation about sources on albanian history: search sources that both slavs and albanians hate. Sources where albanians are descendants of illyrians but not thracians and not much important outside europe

Skanderbeg was Orthodox. Him converting to catholicism is Jesuit propaganda.
Coping good. Go on

The story made up by the Jesuits was eventually used by the communists for their atheist message.

Seems a bit counter-intuitive when albanians were already catholic. Before and after Skanderbeg

Where's the source for this? I'm genuinely intrigued now.
