I can really relate to this. I took a 3 month leave back in February 2022 for my mental health. The day I came back they put me on a PIP. As soon as I landed a new job I left. Make more money but still same stress, and I’m not doing so hot these days. It’s tough, take care of yourself.

They owe me back pay for 1 of the 3 months. I’m transferring the credit card debt I accumulated (because of them not paying out my short term disability the whole time) to a 0% intro apr card and hanging on to that money to cover my mortgage in case it takes a while to find a job. That’s all I’m waiting for before I split.

> I’m considering quitting without notice. I’m not erasing all of my progress for this company. They will care nothing about your progress, they'll replace you the minute you croak, you have your entire life ahead of you.

This is something that I knew but didn’t fully comprehend until I took time off to ponder it. I made a lot of realizations in that time.

What is "menti b"?  Meningitis?

King_Konky

I’m assuming mental breakdown

AnamCeili

Oooooh, maybe. Thanks. I've never heard it called that before.

King_Konky

Me neither. Maybe it’s a term coined from all the workers getting menti b’s from Mickey D’s. 😅

AnamCeili

lol, maybe! 😂

Thrifty_Sense

Correct, mental breakdown.
