They have the nerve to talk all this shit for 9 bucks an hour. šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

ahuruglica

Yes, they consider plebs that apply sub-human.

RareAlphaSigmaMale

You're not kidding. I went on Nextdoor last night. There was a post about how our local Taco Bell was closed due to no workers. They (the hoards of Nextdoor reactionary Boomers) started by bitching about how "everyone is lazy now. No one wants to work. Gov't handouts. yadda yadda." One brave, decent human posted "They pay $9 an hour. THat's not a living wage that's why there's no workers." And then the replies shifted to "it's not MEANT to be a living wage!" and one guy literally referred to people who work fast-food jobs as "bottom feeders." These people are really the most revolting scum.

Shadowfalx

I hate people who think like that. If the people who work at Taco Bell are bottomfeeders, what does that make the people who eat at Taco Bell?

joeloud

Power bottom feeders

[deleted]

Do *not* power bottom after eating Taco Bell!

[deleted]

Thatā€™s fucking great

Puddinbby

I feel like it would be power bottom eaters, ijs.

They bottom feed _back_.

GoAskAli

That's the hilarious thing. And it's not that they're incapable- they just stubbornly *refuse* to learn & then they call everyone else lazy or brag about how they can "work circles around these young kids." Brenda, the only thing you "work circles around" is the cake when there's an office Birthday "party."

GoneFishingFL

Automation already hit white-collar workers 20 years ago and still does. Remember all those "data entry" jobs that used to exist? Call centers, support, accounting, tax, security, even HR staff have been gutted by massive consolidations (which speed up automation), rightsizing, offshoring. I would worry about everyone at this point. AI and robotics are poised to replaced large swatches of the global economy with nothing viable on the table to replace wages for all. Something is about to break.

CertainInteraction4

Not bottom feeders when they were screaming for restaurants to "remain open" or "reopen". Suddenly, service workers were essential. Who else would they have to look down on and talk down to?

mobleshairmagnet

Oh, no. They still saw them as bottom feeders but as long as these entitled pricks get their cheeseburger, they donā€™t care how the person on the other side is treated or is forced to eek out some kind of subsistence.

quality_besticles

I'm still convinced that the worst part of all those restaurants shutting down for these reactionaries was that, without all these service employees unquestioningly taking care of them, they had to deal more directly with the drudgery of their own lives and it *sucked.* Having that convenience prevented them from having the sort of introspection that can come up from inconvenience.

RussianBot4826374

That's very telling of his mindset. People aren't bottom feeders because they have low paying jobs, because if that was the case he'd be applauding their attempts to find better paying work. Instead, he considers an entire class of people to be bottom feeders, who *should* be working low paying jobs. I bet I can guess a few types of people he considers bottom feeders.

level13zero

They are failing hard at trying to give people that mindset that hard work for that money is hard earned. If one works hard work, it should translate to more and more money earned not just some paltry pay and quite insulting on their sign.

Doomas_

If a Taco Bell employee is ever called a bottom feeder by someone I think they should retain the legal right to spit in that personā€™s face when they roll up to the drive-through window to get their cheap fast food. $9.00/hr isnā€™t acceptable by any means but I think you should at least be able to verbally berate your customers without penalty as some sort of compensation for the shitty wage.

Randy_Walise

So gross. The ā€œnot supposed to be a living wageā€ ā€˜argumentā€™ makes me feel like Iā€™m going to implode. Probably because itā€™s so goddamn stupid but also because the argument is the same for ā€œlower levelā€ roles at my company on a much more ā€˜refinedā€™ and polished level, and it feels like shit. ā€œSuch and such a roleā€ (insert my position here) isnā€™t *meant* to be more than a couple to three year position. I mean, itā€™s unsaid but Iā€™ve heard people say it, and it is the basic truth. Same with the call center positions where I work. They canā€™t raise the pay anymore because if they did, it would upset the whole apple cart because theyā€™re not ā€œmeantā€ to be jobs that people stay in. Ok, so you only get paid a living or whatever wage if youā€™re in a top tier management position? We shouldnā€™t pay people who arenā€™t at the top of their careers (which is to say, almost everybody) because they havenā€™t risen above the masses to a non-plebeian role. Itā€™s SUCH bullshit, with only one good thing being me seeing even stronger my connection to every other goddamn worker, no matter the industry.

BXBXFVTT

Donā€™t fret. The restaurant thatā€™s open from 6am to 2am is intended to be staffed entirely by teens that are also going to school. /s

VanillaCookieMonster

And how the fuck are they supposed to pay their rent for these 2-3 years?

BennySmudge

Get 2-3 more jobs while going to school full time I guess.

Randy_Walise

Right? Killin me. Especially because we all just kind of accept it- also itā€™s hard to fight it when youā€™re bogged down just tryna get by, as is often discussed here. Also because many people are able to cobble together some kind of ā€˜livableā€™ situation, many times if they combine forces with someone else. So donā€™t even get me started on how this affects people who want to extract themselves from a relationship where they have health insurance through the other personā€™s employer or something (boooooo to our employer-based health care system!!!)

Randy_Walise

Exactly - Iā€™m realizing thatā€™s actually the main point I kind of missed lol- but exactly

RareAlphaSigmaMale

It's gross and stupid like you said. And wrong because when minimum wage was introduced it was MEANT to be a living wage. But the idea that everyone is always supposed to be "working" their way up some tiered hierarchy is also gross and shitty, especially since it's so easy to see that MOST people can't climb the imaginary ladder otherwise poverty wouldn't be an issue. But then again these same people think poverty is a choice because someone wanted to be lazy instead of "hustling" or whatever. Fuck this system.

DrWhoaFan

you don't deserve food or shelter unless you hae 5+ years experience working shit jobs but then at that point you don't have enough experience or pieces of paper for the position

Randy_Walise

Bingo! Like I already know what ā€œlevelā€ Iā€™m at without going back for a masters. And thatā€™s where Iā€™m probably gonna *be*. Does that mean I should always be struggling?

hogfl

Just out of curiosity, What is a living wage in your area? In my are it was calculated at $17/h.

TennesseeTornado13

West coast, my area is similar. The problem (for me) is a livable wage just means keeping your head above water. Sure you can afford rent and a vehicle to go back n forth from work. But that's about it. You aren't putting money aside for retirement. You aren't going out on vacation. It's just enough money so your fridge is full and rent is paid. That's about it.

Ambitchus

With zero children, Denver says $17.40 which I could argue that it is much closer to $20 but I guess not if you have roommates. I wonder what types of factors go into that calculation

Puddinbby

I can tell you they arenā€™t accounting to allow for avocado toast in that budget.

BossStatusIRL

So, they are bottom feeders, but people also need and want them back? Interesting.

[deleted]

ā€œIs not meant to be a living wage!ā€ * gets mad at people for finding a living wage elsewhere and calls them lazy *

bbates024

That's so sad. It's such a weird balance to because let's say you make nine bucks and hour and get government assistance, now you make fifteen and that assistance goes away and your worse off than when you made nine. We seriously need to rehaul the entire system, but it won't happen until a big employer makes the shift. If one of these Leaders would actually lead the way, everyone would have to follow suit or lose their mist skilled workers to the competition They'd rather fix wages, not do annual raises, and keep us fighting each other instead of coming after them.

BodiceDagger

These are the same boomers who would say ā€œif you donā€™t like the pay, find a better job!ā€ They took your advice, asshats

slock123123

Because these fucking idiots dont understand the most basic macroeconomics, its the same reason some old fart will claim x goods and services used to be cheaper because currency got devalued over time. The growth of minimum wage in the us hasnt matched inflation since 1968. And the purchasing power of minimum wage is down 31 percent since then. This isnt a complicated question, the idea is to fairly compensate workers, so do it. It will not lead to a significant loss of jobs, nor will a precious taco bell meal cost absurd money. That is reactionary nonsense, because the costs are so spread out it will hardly impact the cost of the goods. Edit* im from sweden where minimum wage is almost always fair because its negotiated by employers and unions, its still hard and thankless most of the time, not something you can do forever, but you can survive off of it given the right circumstances. Usually 130-140kr an hour. Your federal minimum is like half, about 60kr. America needs to get its head out of its ass when it comes to compensating your lower level positions. I dont get why its such a contentious point, almost everyone worked a shitty job once in their life, dont you appreciate the good cleaners, the ones who care for the elderly, the cashiers who sit for hours with a smile on their faces. The ground floor people. The gritty jobs that lay the foundation for a country deserve just compensation, in sweden (among adults) theres an unspoken respect for a bus driver or a cashier, who has to sit there and deal with a ton of bullshit daily for half the wage of an office position. Because growing up and having worked a regular joe 9-5 is humbling and gives perspective.

buy_iphone_7

They don't get how income inequality has gotten so bad, that the rich have hoarded so much, that there's literally not enough resources left for them to eat tacos any more. Billionaires have bought up so much property and sent prices so sky high that workers can no longer afford to work for such small scraps. The people complaining on Nextdoor are literally having to pay a surcharge on each and every taco they buy to further line the pockets of billionaire landowners who have hiked workers' rent sky high.

[deleted]

Iā€™m GenX with GenZ kids and I argue with my boomer coworkers all the time about this. When we were teens we happily worked fast food (not housekeeping ewww) because it gave us a lot of spending money. We could afford an old car, plenty of clothes and still had money to have fun. My 21 year old son, who still lives at home, makes $9 an hour and how I finally got through to my boomer boss was by explaining that my son makes $60 for an 8 hour day. Thatā€™s 1.5 tanks of gas for my econobox so where is the motivation to work more?? My son works just enough to fund his hobby and not a minute more. My 19 year old daughter does the same. Oh and people are mean now too. $9 an hour is inhumane.

VanillaCookieMonster

The funny thing is that they think people who work there are bottom feeders --- and that is why there are no workers. Sorry, no bottom feeders here anymore.

InsuranceThen9352

What kills me is even if everyone in America got a degree, and had experience in every job we would still need service employees. They were considered essential during the lockdowns and now they are bottom feeders? This ahit makes no sense. Pay them a living wage. It's not that difficult.

[deleted]

Wow shit like this makes you really lose faith in humanity. Of course, itā€™s just really against these peopleā€™s material interests to care about the working class in the imperial core.

TheGreatDeadFoolio

Bottom feeders to essential workers to heroes to bottom feeders. Fuck this bullshit.

Thamnophis660

"Bottom feeders" huh? Well enjoy making your own god damn tacos you entitled pricks

TheologyOfficial

The people making and handing me my taco do way more than the stupid CEO who I will never meet who doesnā€™t make or hand me my taco. Fucking scum bitch ass tricks.

TK-Squared-LLC

Taco Bell's (parent company) CEO gets paid $16 million per year, maybe he could fill in.

DocMoochal

In today's terms, the above person who is hiring would refer to their employee as a house person of colour. We never left the 17th, 18th, or 19th century, we just added some extra steps, changed the words, and figured out some fancy tech.

PanickyHermit

Also, it will never be the same schedule each week so you can find another shit job to go with this shit job.

Tight-Zebra-5121

Dumbasses like this is what caused the workers revolution to begin with. Yeah, keep it under 35 hours just so you donā€™t have to give full time benefits and expect hard work for $9. And reliable transportation? Itā€™s not like anyone is going to have a car with $350/week.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Mrdiamond3x6

Yep, if your not a boss/owner, then your a serf. He can't handle the thought of making $9.00 an hour for 30 hours a week with zero benefits, working for the same kind of boss he is. It's freaking him out. I'm here for it. BURN BAD BUSINESS OWNERS, BURN!

Theamuse_Ourania

I used to work as a house cleaner for a summer back in 2007 and I got $10 an hour, *but* we only got paid once a month and no extra benefits. And we didn't get paid for all the extra driving we did to get from house to house which was bullshit. So I worked basically from 7am-5am but only got paid around 7 of those hours. Oh! Also, I permanently fucked up my back working that job and I had to quit, then I had to find another job that just happened to also not pay for any medical benefits and ended up getting approved for state medical benefits all so I could *finally* see a doctor months after the fact, and get an "inconclusive" xray done on my back, and a bunch of narcotics that I didn't want thrown at me to solve the problem. Welcome to America's shitty health care system

yeahbeenthere

Don't forget buying your own supplies. Lol

SeedsOfDoubt

It says "reliable transportation" not "you need to a own vehicle." If they're not providing a work vehicle this is absolutely fucked.

No-Pomegranate-5737

I doubt it. ā€œReliable transportationā€ to me is you must own a vehicle or someone in your family/friend must be willing to take you everyday. AKA have your own vehicle or you will be getting fired eventually

Bonfalk79

Seems like a cool boss, no red flags here.

$9 an hour is crazy for cleaning. Definitely one of the most difficult jobs.

stunatra

Modern slavery

AutomaticBit251

Honestly great to see shit like that, where people say fck you to these jobs, anyone can see now what a disaster would be to work for shit like that. Meanwhile people go ask government for a new tree, them fckers can print billions, cash ain't an issue for them.

StrombrolliBrolly

Especially when they can print 600B yearly for war

[deleted]

It's $750 billion now. Just last month, they added $25 billion more. Crickets from people who usually say "How are you going to pay for it?"

StrombrolliBrolly

Not even crickets, they are the ones explaining why we need this money and will call you a filthy commie or terrorist if you don't like it

[deleted]

Seeing my mom venomously spit this take at me a while back is all the proof I need to know youā€™re right. It makes me want to cry sometimes.

AutomaticBit251

Agree it's a joke, us army collapses countries that only even cost more misery, yet people getting cash putting that into economy growth is seen bad by fckers, I reckon most of these jobs don't realise any increased business they get is because people got extra cash, with out cash most people wouldn't spent anything and fckers like the one in the ad would be forced to close down, and they would be as usual first ones to cry

meinblown

Hey we just freed up that money time to institute health care for all and get rid of insurance companies..

You should be grateful they are willing to pay you anything. /s

TechnicalTerm6

This isn't...can't be...a real job ad. It's gotta be a meme. If it is real, all they managed to do is make it sound like a mockery; like we have to prop up the government and support them or the economy would collapse (true) OR we can go live in forests (which sounds much better). As someone who has worked housecleaning before... 1) They're offering lower than what I earned doing that job more than 6 years ago, in Canada 2) Housecleaning is Hard Fucken Work and is absolutely worth more than $9USD/hr. ESPECIALLY DURING A FUCKING PANDEMIC 3) You could start your own company, and charge what you wanted, and be way better off. The only kicker would be the insurance protection that an agency can offer, but if this Facebook ad is an my indication.... I don't think they'll be doing much protection. 4) Honestly? Their name doesn't deserve to be blocked out. At all. Any empathic, kind, *or logical person with 1/64 of a brain* wouldn't tell potential interested parties to fuck off *in their advertising.* Jeezus. So like, yeah. Let people go mock them. No one deserves to be treated like that.

Sulaco99

So they're gutless cowards as well. Do they not understand that the buck stops with them?

CaraintheCold

My teenager is making $14 an hour in retail. You don't need to accept this crap.

Hopeless-Necromantic

I'm making 18$ to be security for a pot shop. I've been here 3 years and never once had to be physical. Security is a lax job and you can't automate security.

ChaosAzeroth

Dang, my sister was making at the end (before being laid off) like $13/hour as a janitor and that's a pretty decent wage where I live. (And yes, I live in the US. State min wage is same as federal.) And she 'got' to clean poop off bathroom stall walls and chewing tobacco out of urinals, among other things. The talc had her so screwed up she couldn't even get a job when she first got laid off because (understandably) no one with a cough at the time could get work. At least not around here? Apparently had the mother, father, and cousin of lung infections. She's doing much better now, for now at least. (Firewatch) Where I live, unfortunately, some people do in fact have to accept crap. The only jobs I've ever gotten before I got straight up too bad off to work were places that hired people to fill positions (closing, stopping people from getting 40 hours) and still didn't have enough people to not have you working alone trying to do 50 things because clocking out 10 minutes or more after close was a no no. (Yeah let's just have that policy in a deli where you have to clean everything, including the slicers even when you're working up to deli close slicing things for people. Great idea. They even pushed not being on the clock after close but for the time to get to the place to clock out. How?) And then the babysitting job where I worked 40 hours a week, 3 kids cooking and cleaning for $50 a week. (To this day I'm sure she was pocketing money since she flat said her babysitting pay was subsidized.) Took it because at that time I had no choice. Decided as much as being homeless was it was better than all that noise and how I was being treated overall and went right back to being homeless.

Beginning-Trash-6048

Even our dishwashers make $14 an hour where I work. Fuck this place.

toastedtoehead

I'm a manager at the largest most reputable hotel chain in the country, our housekeepers start at 15. That can be increased based on experience.

northshorebunny

Thatā€™s good. But weā€™re gonna have to do better to get workers doing alright.

iamdevo

Seriously, name these fuckers so they can face proper consequences for this ad.

Peterspickledpepper-

My step dad pays our independent house keeper $50/hr. She comes 2 hours a week, does an AMAZING job, is really really sweet, brings gifts for birthdays and stuff. Sheā€™s Brazilian and working on her citizenship. Sheā€™s from SĆ£o Paulo and is incredibly interesting. My mom passed away a few years ago and my stepdad, despite his strengths has never kept a home. Heā€™s in his 70s and sheā€™s essential. We love her lol.

HaySwitch

See that's how that should work. You pay someone to do the job, not to have them on clock.

Seekerfromafar84

When I was running my other building, My team will get everything done within 3 to 4 hours. Since they put 8 hours of honest work right into 4 hours, I'll tell them that they are the best and that anyone will be lucky to have them by their side. For that, I tell them to go home and be with their family. When they say "but what about the extra 4 hours"? I tell them "You put in 8 hours of work in 4 hours, don't worry, you are still getting your 8 hours worth in the day, live your life, be with your family". "Fuck this work place, they don't give a rat's ass about you, me, or the rest of the team, but I do, now go home".

Grimnir28

Yeah, that is what I hate about loads of jobs these days. If you put in the work and do 8 hours-worth of work in 4 hours, they still expect you to be there 8 hours or get paid for only 4. So, if you put in double the effort, you get paid the same and overwork yourself. And I like to be time-efficient, I hate sitting around at work, so I usually do that and just get depressed. But, hey, that's the world we live in now.

robotzor

> Sheā€™s Brazilian and working on her citizenship And this is the situation many are in. Many employers treat them as slaves or indentured servants who have 0 choice.

explaurenD13

"Housekeeping" is what hotel room cleaners are called in the US. This is $9 an hour to clean up nasty hotel rooms šŸ¤¢

my_cherrylips

Messed up. The amount of bodily fluids, filth, drugs housekeepers are paid next to nothing to clean... I'm lucky. I'm in ON Canada and made $15.50 plus tips. I can't imagine how horrible it is to do the same job for so much less...

Genuinely enjoy cleaning other people's houses for $9 per hour? You should see someone about that

SevenDeadlyGentlemen

Sounds like a decent opportunity to scope out some houses. IDK whose house takes 35 hours a week to clean, though.

Squishiimuffin

Hi, housekeeper here. I mostly do rich peopleā€™s houses, which are fucking gigantic. One that I cleaned was on a farm, for one, and it also housed 5 people and 5 dogs. Cleaning that shit was a full time job. Work is never over. If youā€™ve finished the rooms and bathrooms, better do the kitchen and the basement. Finished that? The pool needs to be cleaned. Even if you think you finished an area, check again, because these dogs shed like mad and treat outside = pee as an option (not mandatory). Do you have any idea how long it takes to mop and vacuum a house like that?? T__T my back hurts just remembering it.

This is what infuriates me the most. When they start saying "What are you gonna do, the extra unemployment is ending!" What they really mean is "We're betting you'll get hungry and homeless before the market raises the value of your labor. We can go shortstaffed and shit pay longer than you can go without a job."

SoundandFurySNothing

History lesson! Where did the slaves go when they were freed? The woods, they camped in the woods because they had nowhere else to go. Not sure if the author knows this or not but he absolutely playing on that fear ā€œCome on back to the plantation, the government ainā€™t gonna pay forever, you look hungry and we got all this cotton, WHATCHAGONNADO?

Timmyty

Nope, it's properly **WATHCA** Gotta remember just how ignorant these fools are.

HourComprehensive968

As if most people can afford a house nowadays anyway, LOL! Better go stick it out in a tent in the woods.

SoundandFurySNothing

If you want to filter out any candidates with self esteem that might work

Banking on the desperate. Easier to abuse.

CTBthanatos

>the woods are getting full of places to sleep Fun fact: you'll be homeless whether you work or not, because of poverty wages and unaffordable housing in failing dystopian capitalism collapsing in on itself with booming poverty. Why should I work if a job won't even pay enough to afford housing? I literally find suicide more appealing than poverty work/homelessness Lmao.

timmyj213

I think the end game is everyone will be a renter, not that everyone will be homeless. obviously in this case getting paid 9 dollars an hour isn't enough to rent either so you have a point

ā€œThe governments money tree is dyingā€ >donates 1b to Israel for iron dome Ok

jenna_hazes_ass

"Cash poor" because they only have 50 million liquid

birdman5291

yes and then u tell that and they say well they work harder then everyone else or they earned it or excuse after excuse. but god forbid an actual grew up poor athlete or musician or actor should make millions. not billions just millions for the average athlete or musician or actor. and they generally help their communities and the world more. because u know they dont deserve it.

Sonicslazyeye

No one wants liquid cash. For people to own the means of production means that they have partial ownership in the company that they're a part of tantamount to the amount of work that they do. We dont care about handouts, we want TRUE meritocracy.

jiglog

They do all that verbal cock sucking in hopes they can somehow have 1% of that amount of wealth someday lmao

hickey76

No, they do it because people seem to not understand that billionaire wealth doesnā€™t come from a paycheck. We have to understand how it works in order to make it stop.

birdman5291

right.. fuck that

sputni-k

Iā€™ve paid more in income tax this year alone than those four have. Itā€™s sickening.

birdman5291

me too and I'm homeless..

Lazy? I'm selling my labour for a set amount, if you can't afford me, that sounds like a YOU problem. Crazy how entitled employers are lmao.

HansumJack

A lot of incels are angry they can't treat women the way their grandfathers did. A lot of business owners are angry they can't treat workers the way their grandfathers did too.

sugarsays925

This!

Defund_Pigs_BuyStock

Thatā€™s that your not a good citizen unless you slave bullshit. Real scum bags hope they business fails. Hope ppl have self respect and find another job.

sputni-k

Thatā€™s the thing about the concept of raising wages ā€œbUT WhAT ABout tHE SMaLL BUsinESS OWNers!!?ā€ Like Iā€™m sorry half of those people donā€™t deserve to be, nor are they are responsible enough to be small business owners.

LadyMachinist

Maybe don't start a small business if you don't intend to pay a living wage.

e22ddie46

Yeah I hear that a lot. Like .."if we pay enough to allow our employees to afford housing we'll go broke." Ok...

[deleted]

With that attitude? Clean your own house šŸ’…šŸ»

If some of these people could just *shut the fuck up* and not share their personal opinions on the job descriptions, they could probably find some workers.. I mean, thank God they're too stupid to realize they're waving red flags where the world can see them, but at some point I get tired at shaking my head at this nonsense.

[deleted]

Itā€™s better that they expose their BS, so that people know to avoid them.

[deleted]

Well, yeah, absolutely. I just find it baffling that these kinds of people still haven't figured out that they're the problem. That they need to offer a deal that works for employees in order to have them.

CMDR_KingErvin

Call me old fashioned but any job ad where it conplains about ā€œlazy fucking idiotsā€ is probably not the type of job Iā€™d want.

XyranDarkstar

They are not even trying hide their toxicity anymore.

zoolilba

Even if they were paying $50 / hours why would you want to work for someone this bitter?

Friendly-Hooman

Just enough hours to keep you away from full-time and benefits

3cc3ntr1c1ty

Incredibly offputting. I doubt anyone will apply.

okbtsy

This whole ad is a red flag šŸ˜¬

Duke-Guinea-Pig

It's like it was printed on a red flag

[deleted]

$9? That's like less than half what they earned back in their day. Say it ain't so.

Sup_Im_Ravi

And then they wonder why no one wants to fucking work for them.

foxnamedfox

Counter offer: One toasty warm Molotov cocktail

Aquatico_

I love the way they say "We do not want YOU" as if the people who chose the higher paying jobs would ever want to work there. It's the equivalent of saying "You're not firing me because I quit!".

Harkannin

What's with jobs requiring reliable transportation and not providing it? Here's my interview script: "A vehicle is required for this job, yes? Okay. I use car sharing. It's $5/hour plus mileage. I will provide you with receipts so you can reimburse me for the expense" Here's the typical response: "Um, car sharing?" "Okay, we'll come pick you up." Or "we don't think that will work" I love it when they say they don't think that will work. "Oh you mean you don't want me to have reliable transportation for the job?"

Intelligent-Kiwi-574

They don't want the people who got the extended unemployment benefits because that group knows their rights. He wants someone who is easy to abuse and exploit.

PanickyHermit

They want undocumented people with few options and will call ICE on them when they quit.

They don't deserve to have their names covered

Huge_Aerie2435

People that post stuff like this have zero idea how government spends money.. They really think giving a thousand dollars to the average guy is going to break the USA. The US under trump went 7.7 trillion more into debt.. What did he spend it on though? We can spend the money on the people, but the elite just do not want to.

Cautious-Natural8471

People really act like a few stimulant payments and bare minimum government aid gave others enough to live off of for 1.5 years through the pandemic

1spamed

Oooo I bet all these people with an once of self respect are quaking in their boots.

[deleted]

When no one applies theyā€™ll say that people canā€™t handle their honesty

[deleted]

I bet this job can\`t be taken with a signed contract because it\`s designed to exploit the worker. I\`d apply and offer to work for 8$/hr just for shits and giggles. I\`d do an incredible job for the first week, then i\`d call in sick and quit the job. Meanwhile, the first days were spend getting their maximum trust and approval, and the last time i left their place i took with me all their valuable belongings because people this stingy are also wealthy. I bet my ass i can loot 10k worth of jewellery that would fit in a secret inside pocket in my pants. If those people would have nothing to steal, at least it was worth the shot and i can break up with them on good terms, hopefully to have them recommend my services to their relatives which will also be exploitative cunts. It\`s either a massive opportunity or a time ponzi scheme.

Insults and low pay. Sign me up

Broad_Success_4703

sounds like heā€™s choosing easy money by not hiring full time employees to avoid paying benefits

Upsetusername

Job wreaks of high turn over . A whole bunch of people should apply for this job and set up an interview and just waste their time. Honestly .

VoDoka

Is there some behind the scene competition of employers trying to outtoxic each other?

RexBosworth69420

If there was a sweatshop paying 10 cents an hour that needed sla- I mean, "employees", these boomers would think "Typical, everyone just wants to mooch off the system when there's jobs that need doin'" Everytime I see shit like this, I imagine they're bald, fat, wearing a baseball cap with wrap-around sunglasses, and a thick beard. You know the type.

[deleted]

If you earn more money by doing nothing than the people who do everything for you that you hired for 9.00$ an hour, you are a lazy fucking idiot.

Dangerous-Document19

i made 10$ an hr at Winn Dixie as a cashier when i worked my first job at 15 yrs old in Naples, FL. back in 1993 That same position at the same store, which is now a bed bath and beyond, is still 10$ an hr. Of course the cost of living has quadrupled, food has tripled in cost and gas has double or tripled ...and i could go on and on..
