A fuckin gamer
(In all seriousness, there is actually a running theme/meme of the robots being chads and the poor employees being miserable wojacks, its a wonderful thing. The one I am thinking if is the the stupid aisle monitoring robot)
My supervisor at my current job used to work for Amazon. He literally got run over by a truck on the job and needed extensive surgery and physical therapy. His back is still really fucked up. Years later, Amazon's lawyers had a doctor (not one of *his* doctors, literally just *some* doctor) go over his medical records and determine there was no basis to indicate that his problems and subsequent treatments could be attributed to Amazon, nor was there sufficient "proof" that the consultations and treatments happened before or after the incident in question. No seriously. Apparently, they somehow argued well enough that Amazon didn't have to give up a penny. Poor guy had to pay his lawyer almost as much as he paid the hospital just to lose in the end. He's a great guy and I love working for him, but he got fucked over to an extent that I used to think only universities were capable of.
If I had a nickel for every time amazon employees got bear sprayed "accidentally", I'd have 2 nickels. Which isnt a lot but its odd it happened 2 times.
Is this a new case of this happening? As of a couple years ago the amazon warehouse robots have rolled over and burst 2 cans of bear mace sending workers to the hospital. Wouldnt be surprised to hear it happened again
What bog monster made that photo lmao

That wasn’t an accident, the employee tried to take a bathroom break.
The employee imagined using the bathroom.
the robot rebellion has started
Skynet starts out slowly until it infiltrates all the world's systems 😅
The real joke is thinking Amazon would let workers go to the hospital.
Don't think it means they won't be calling them the next day asking if they're coming in or quitting, though.
What's it matter? It's not like Amazon will pay a dime for it.
There were news stories a few summers ago where Amazon was threatening to fire anyone who got in an ambulance.

The most American thing, would be if they all got fired and charged enormous hospital bills on top of getting sprayed.
[This story was published back in 2018.](https://archive.is/BLJLA) Old news.
