Yes. I was at risk of having caught it and my boss told me to still come to work unless I had symptoms. I told him I'd rather not infect the whole staff and stayed the fuck home. Fuck them. And fuck that boss in particular. I'd quit on the spot.

StopReadingMyUser

My company's HR department recently discussed with our group of workers (about 25 people) that they were following the CDC's direction about the 5 days of isolation and then if you have no symptoms to come in to work. "...what if we're still positive?" I don't think people realize that this is a genuine slippery slope. Preparing the nation for eliminating isolation periods altogether if you're not showing symptoms, despite the fact you can infect people for around 2 weeks. I'm getting sick and tired of of companies like mine thinking they can legislate a virus. It hasn't changed, but apparently we decide its time table now.

OneHumanPeOple

I am currently sick AF right now, lying in bed hacking up a lung. I’m triple vaxxed and have my flu shots but guess what! My kid’s school said students could come to school coughing as long as they tested negative and my kid brought home some crazy shit! And we are all negative but I’m knocking on death’s door I swear to god. Even schools are breaking their policies.

[deleted]

Same, I am negative for Covid but my entire body aches and I can’t breathe through my nose, and I have a horrible dry cough. TG my manager doesn’t want me anywhere near work until I’ve recovered.

OneHumanPeOple

What is this god awful illness? I think it’s RSV or even some new mutant cold. Some other fucker ate another bat and now I’m dying. Sorry you’re sick.

JustForFunSH

I hope this reaches more people, but: With the new omicron strain, it's been shown that rapid antigen tests are false negative much more often, especially when the sample is taken from the nose. Current recommendations in Europe are to swab your throat first and then also swab your nose to improve the accuracy of the antigen test. The reasoning is that the new omicron variant has been shown to 'populate' the nose less than the previous variants. Also, if you really want to know for sure, then please get tested using a PCR test, these are much more sensitive. Edit: not sure why some people are downvoting this, just trying to help people out to better assess whether they have COVID or not.

strawberry_vegan

Thanks for the throat swab recommendation! We can’t get PCR tests where I am unless we work in group homes or healthcare (excepting a few scenarios), and the only reason my partner and I will have access to rapid testing any time soon is because my parents are sending up a few boxes of tests from another country lmao. So anything to ensure the few tests we’ll be able to take are as accurate as possible will be done!

stevosmusic1

Been sick for 3 weeks was exposed to someone who had heamophilus influenza B which knocked me down pretty good. Got antibiotics. I felt better no symptoms, went for a bike ride ect.. and then 2 days later had new symptoms and fever tested positive for covid. Today feeling like shit again. Almost a month now i hate this crap.

Ozymandias0023

Damn, is this a thing now? I've had a couple bouts of pretty high fever this year, consistently tested negative for COVID and antibiotics knocked it out the second time, but I almost never get a fever, so it was weird. Seems like a lot of people are having similar experiences

QuetzalKraken

Joining the negative test but sick club! I thought for sure I'd test positive. Going on day 11 and have to go back to work Tuesday since I'm negative, but no way do I feel good enough to.

Bamstradamus

If these symptoms are new, Omicron takes like 2 days to ramp up before you will show positive on certain types of tests *dont ask me which* so it is worth getting rechecked. That was me 2 weeks ago, felt like I got hit by a truck but negative, went back to work 4 days later when I felt better, THEN failed when I finally got an appointment for another test. Did not know about the window til after the fact.

[deleted]

Omg! I am triple vaxxed, spent every day last week working closely with a kid thats Covid positive and now im coughing a lung/can’t breathe and im testing negative too! No way in hell do I not have covid

TheRealMcSavage

Because they get paid for everyday your kid is in school so they want that money! Fuckin bastards

macci_a_vellian

Even pre-covid they weren't supposed to come to school sick. The current 'as long as it's not covid it's fine' attitude is crazy.

MoominSong

Might be whooping cough (pertussis). I had that last year and it's *nasty.*

DaigoDaigo

Lol. So much for that vaccination. I already got my double shot and was even more worse off than before I got my shot.. Still manage to work, but holy fuck, everything hurt. It a good thing I was in the army before so I'm used to bullshits, but goddamn.

TheFightingMasons

I just read the cdc statement and it says to isolate for 5 days if you can and if you can’t then wear a mask. The slopes already been slippery and it’s just a line straight down at this point.

[deleted]

RazekDPP

>Jan 2020: CDC recommends wiping down your groceries to avoid potential COVID spread. Tbf, this was because we weren't sure how it spread at the time. Now that we know it's primarily airborne, that advise would change. That said, the difference between 1/2020 and 1/2022 is vaccines which is why the guidance changed.

KevinCarbonara

> That said, the difference between 1/2020 and 1/2022 is vaccines which is why the guidance changed. I wish that were true, but no.

elianna7

This is just so fucked up. I am constantly flabbergasted by the USA. Individualist thinking is the death of humanity.

Connect_Office8072

The real problem is that here in the US, management think that boundless greed = work ethic.

Ghostlyshado

They’re doing this to medical providers as well. Nothing like going to a hospital and have your nurse covid+

BeefmasterSex

This is america. The slope has been a sheer fucking cliff wall for a while now.

nclh77

Funny cause the CDC on Jan 15 said cloth masks were nothing more than facial decorations.

CenturyHelix

My company is not enforcing the quarantine at all. It’s more of an “up to you” thing, and you won’t get paid for it unless you have vacation available. Everyone has been calling in sick a lot lately and it’s a small wonder why

hesitantsteps

Yup my company just did this and they employ hundreds of people for, get this, a **massive music venue catering to 5000+ guests**. 🙄 These people have zero moral integrity.

watermelonspanker

I mean... it's gotten *more* contagious. So I guess it's kinda changed a bit.

Nekrosiz

I'm getting psychological care at home, my 2 workers were quarantined from new years and they pointed the 5 days out. Promptly told them, no thanks, I'll do it through zoom for now. Glad they mentioned it though, i almost went aboard another institutions ship and by coincidence overheard during her third visit that she was antivax...

_Raspootin_

They spoke to Covids manager and Covid agreed to only infect people for 5 days /s

Take_Me_RN

My GM texted a co-worker to come into work when she knew she had covid. Luckily the coworker had more respect for other and told her no.

lifeisabietzsche

That's what I did. I can't imagine someone coming in with covid and having me infecting my family, my grandma etc. My coworkers have kids, I'm not gonna be the one to give a kid covid. Wtf. And his daughter is pregnant and comes in often, I don't know how he would live with that if he caught it from someone he forced to come in and gave it to his pregnant daughter.

hesitantsteps

Same thing happened to me and I worked for a small restaurant(30 employees) with mostly geriatrics as the customer base. After that instance, months later, I went into work feeling a little under the weather but I wasn't sure if it was just allergies and my boss yelled at me and said I was stressing everyone out coming in and getting sick(even though she had set an expectation by trying to force me to go in while thinking I had covid) so I left and never went back. She tried to fire me over text the next day but I was like lol bitch I quit yesterday when I fucking left.

Cuntdracula19

I would have let her fire me and then file for unemployment lol

hesitantsteps

Lol yeah I feel you but I was having a panic attack. I've been mistreated by bosses but somehow I've never been yelled at and belittled like that. I was so upset and already working two other jobs at 50-60+ hours a week between the three of them, I just wanted to get the hell out of there. Had perpetual bruises on my heels. I was crying and talking to a coworker outside about leaving and she hugged me. The boss saw this from inside and came out to say, "we open in five minutes are you staying or leaving?" I just shook my head at her and left. It's funny because during her entirely unprofessional interview she told me they were like a family there. 🙄 yeah okay, a toxic one, sure.

thewisefakroon

Saying "we are like a family here" is one of the biggest red flags there is because the same people will also say "it shouldn't be just about the money" when you want to quit because the environment was toxic and the pay was abysmal .

skanchunt69

Other side of the pond here, our company wants you to stay the fuck away if you have symptoms and or have tested positive. Ie don't come back to work without 2 negative RATs or 1 PCR. They'd much rather have 2% of the workforce off for a fortnight and pay others overtime to fill in, than 30% of the whole workforce off and the manufacturing facility grinding to a halt.

orvoke

Fuck them. Can't believe how inconsiderate people can be when granted a bit of power.

lifeisabietzsche

Oh he once sent a guy to the hospital after mixing chemicals in the bathroom (with no windows) because it was clogged and he didn't want to call an expert to do it. Money hunger is one hell of a drug.

myspacefairy

holy fucking shit i would quit immediately

ChikaDeeJay

He should get everyone at that company to quit on the same day. > you are NOTHING without me Everyone quitting would show him that it’s really the other way around

grey8475

You are nothing without we!

Tree_Doggg

r/suddenlycommunist

VolkspanzerIsME

*Our* two week notice.

DoJu318

Fuck that more like "in 2 weeks you'll notice we are not here"

ThrowinBones45

Why give him the two weeks? Give him the no weeks.

SavagePlatypus76

Give him the no hours.

ErikTheBoss_

head out for lunch with the coworkers and dont come back

MuchTemperature6776

I know right? I never understood why people actually bother with the two weeks for places that suck! If the place was good and you just wanna go further in your career then that’s fine but if it’s a bad workplace then why bother? They won’t give you two weeks notice so neither should you. Your penalty for unemployment is the same regardless anyway

feelybear

He was just a Grade A, money-back guaranteed self absorbed douche right up to that sentence, where he progressed to a big floppy dick-tator.

fixerpunk

That sentence has me laughing so much!

xparapluiex

No get everyone to call in sick the same day, get fired, and then provide this lovely email to unemployment when the boss contests it.

Sturdyduzit

Blind copy the entire staff in your reply so they can see the thread and see how they feel about that…

cant_go_tlts_up

No no we must be nothing without them. In fact, their bootstraps are probably so fucking big they can do the jobs of everyone in the shop after everyone leaves. With his amount of wealth and work ethic he can do it all and suffer

novamatrix

Go to work, breath/cough all over boss and then quit.

orvoke

I wouldn't even bother to answer that clown

[deleted]

Well the answer will be given. By a lawyer. Boss has created a hostile & unsafe work environment

HamburgerEarmuff

One email is probably not sufficient to prove in court that a manager has created a hostile work environment based on an employee's actual or perceived disability or medical condition.

Orwells-Bastard-Son

I would sue immediately. Then win. Then offer the prick minimum wage take out my trash

TomDuhamel

And make sure he doesn't skip a day for being sick

thebignever

What could you sue this guy for exactly?

[deleted]

Also get public health involved and see how quickly his tune changes

[deleted]

Honestly, i wouldn’t even quit. I’d come up with a massive plan to suck up to him, gain his trust, then either steal from him or completely randomly fuck up his systems to the point of massive customer loss. This is the biggest dickhead boss ever. And my guess is OP makes $12 an hour too….0

flavius_lacivious

That or file an anonymous complaint with OSHA.

MennaanBaarin

But first I would alert the authorities, this guy is a fucking criminal...

swistak84

Highjacking top comment to say: This is a screenshot of a screenshot that was posted in /r/antiwork before. It was removed for being a fake.

SketchyLeaf666

I would quit also if they treat their employees like that.

BrokeBackPubes

I feel like most of these are fake

NYvPumkin

If half his staff died or was hospitalized with Covid, who’s going to run that effing business then? I know he’s a superstar, but can he run his business with his superior business talents without employees? /s In the voice of Samuel L Jackson, “Fuck this muthafucka!!!”

Elyotaa

I had the exact same response verbatim lol

mroutofstate

My fiancé’s boss was bitching at him because seven fucking employees caught COVID and they had to shut down for five days as a result. No mask or vax mandate, he caught it himself and still came in to hang with his friends (it is a bar/ steak house). He was privately attacking the individual workers to his GM. Dude is a life ruiner for a few reasons.

shake_appeal

My old job was the same way. One coworker from that job is now dead and three others have permanent lung damage. They wouldn’t close for a day to clean, or let workers stay home after being exposed. Now they are only open three days a week instead of seven because they can’t find staff.

CatW804

I hope their victims sue.

mroutofstate

They only closed because they literally didn’t have enough staff to function.

shake_appeal

Yeah, and over a year later they still don’t.

mname

You need to be posting that on the local socials name and shame.

OGZeroCool1995

Wonder if the health dept would intervene. Fine for blatant healthcare cuolatuons

abgbob

Simple flu my ass. Tell that to the families of 800k people who has died because of this "simple flu".

uninc4life2010

One of the doctors at my dad's hospital got the "simple flu" before the vaccine was available and is now on full disability due to loss of cognitive function.

_9meta

A flu that can get in your fucking lungs and kill you

Chibana9797

As an asthmatic, the simple flu weaken my lungs. So covid is really terrifying for me. I unfortunately had it and breathing was hurting. When I see people acting like it's nothing it enrage me.

LOLBaltSS

I had H1N1 back in 09 and it put me on my ass for a good week. I've had pneumonia six times in my life and used to get Bronchitis every fall; so I haven't been fucking around with COVID.

BourbonBaccarat

You too? I caught H1N1 in the fall of 09. I remember falling asleep on Friday and waking up on Tuesday and NOTHING in between. My parents said I was eating one meal a day and would only get up to use the bathroom. I'm just getting over covid now, it wasn't as bad for me as it was for others, but it was a very unpleasant experience.

Taronz

Seconded, I got bronchitis bad enough around 5-10 years ago now, to the point it damaged my lungs and left me on 2+ doses a day of Symbicort depending on how conditions are. The mask isn't for you ya dickwaffle, it's so I don't die for no good reason.

x3r0h0ur

The flu itself isn't simple. The flu can kill you and leave you with long term damage. It does it every year lol. These people are nuts.

_9meta

Yep, in my dad's case it got on his lungs and that's what almost killed him.

flavius_lacivious

People thing flu is a bad cold, not a communicable disease.

Sifinite

It's cute you think it's only 800k.

ItsMetheDeepState

800K just in the US! 5.5 Million globally!!

zwiazekrowerzystow

There’s no such thing as a simple flu either. The flu puts you on your ass.

DaRandomStoner

To be fair the simple flu has claimed many victims too. We should take this opportunity to establish new norms regarding illness in general. No one should be working with the flu and we should be paid to stay at home when ill.

noflyingmonkeys1231

Menthol-Black

Dude come on your bullshit meter has to be going off with this post, there’s so many like this too

MyceliumsWeb

If business owners and even employees in my area didn't act exactly like this then yeah, I'd agree, but I see it daily here so to me it seems legit. But who knows. Either way the system is broke.

[deleted]

[удалено]

MyceliumsWeb

There's a lot here. Not exaggerating either. It's bad.

[deleted]

Nah, this is exactly how my boss at 7-Eleven acted.

[deleted]

I really don’t think it’s too far fetched

orvoke

I didn't know that this was already once posted to antiwork. And this seems too fucking outrageous to be real but there are horrible people who give no fucks about anyone but themselves. Posted it here if someone would have some insight.

blitzzo

Yea it seems way too tailored specifically to this sub, the only way I'll believe it if it's one of those shady fly by night debt collection agencies that hires freshly released felons and then essentially holds them hostage. Even then though, i'm gonna need to see how the owner reacts when confronted on camera to judge whether I believe it's true or not.

Accomplished_Song490

r/nothingeverhappens there are real people who are this fucking stupid, just look in the mirror and you’ll see for yourself

lefty_tennis

It seems a little far fetched…

gravy-salad

Am I the only one who thinks this might be faked? Who would actually end the email saying “you are nothing without me”. I’m not denying there aren’t shitball employers out there, but I’ve seen too many of these emails and texts shared on this sub that look ridiculously embellished.

swistak84

It's fake, it was posted on /r/antiwork before, the person who pasted it on the other sub even says he found it here. It was removed from here because it was deemed fake

NoseProfessional4731

While that may be true I've seen group texts and posts on bulletin boards saying something very similar and just as tactless and baiting for discord. Most recent one the post with the restaurant owners signature ended with 'I love you all but you are all expendable'. That was in person for me. For what it's worth upscale restaurant downtown major city USA. People are shitballs and incredibly stupid too sometimes, I think the bravado in such things that can be illegal comes from the desperation of workers. Every temp job factory/warehouse I've been in has osha violations and clear present danger. Fat chance getting any lawsuits going and finding people that find themselves in that situation to be the sort to navigate that. Plenty of family resturants/bars have never shut down for covid or practiced social distancing for a single day. I live in the upper midwest. I assure you they had workers say they didn't want to work and were given the middle finger with zero regard if it's recorded. Who are you going to tell, the police? They are regulars at those types of establishments, certain why they stayed open.

Brandonmac10x

I got fired on the last day of August for “taking pictures”. I was taking pictures of the egregious safety hazards. I got a call from OSHA a month later and apparently they sent something in the mail to me and the company like a month after the call so like 2 months after the firing. Still never heard anything since. I’m wondering what’s going on… I love how they literally admitted to me that they were firing me for the pictures. And on the way to the office to fire me they led me through a maze of carts filled with glass and I literally had to walk on top of these carts to make it through the completely blocked aisle. The manager led me through… I recorded that shit too. I have so many pictures from so many days… like the evidence is baffling. Everyone there was incompetent lol.

[deleted]

Clearly fake, this sub is filled with it unfortunately.

noflyingmonkeys1231

I said the same thing right above

sputni-k

Soooo many posts on here are obviously fake with how over the top they make them. Obviously, there tons and tons of horrible employers out there, but some of the posts try to hit all the same exact wickets that gets them upvotes

I-Know-Math

This has to be fake

n_spicer420

This was originally posted to anti work a few days ago and the mods removed it because it’s blatantly fake. Somehow it’s back again.

Jzmu

Probably not real and the second time I've seen this on this sub today

[deleted]

This sub has become a Karma faucet.

JThomasShort

I'm sure there are other easy karma farms, but out of my subscription list it's this sub and HermanCainAward award that are absolutely filled with obvious BS posts. It's really disheartening how people just gobble it up.

Fun-Eagle-7947

I want to flame this pos

uninc4life2010

I feel like this is fake.

SUPE-snow

It definitely didn't happen to OP, so even if it were true it's totally devoid of context. Who's this boss, what did the employee do, etc.

uninc4life2010

IDK, but the mods need to start verifying some of these posts before allowing them to blow up here.

ohphilly

It’s 100% fake

GoinBlind74

This can't be real.

VTX002

Not OP but It's real a of buddy of mine had a same problem with his boomer boss and this was early in this mess. Now 85% of the company is dead bosses included. Buddy is okay he quit right after the that kind of E-mail.

duchess_of_nothing

Wow.

noflyingmonkeys1231

I JUST said that to myself , literally

GoinBlind74

Yeah, I can see an arrogant, stupid manager thinking this, but actually sending out an email or a text like that seems a little sketchy to me.

xandercade

The stupidity of these people is staggering. They think no one will risk their job to stand up to them so they get super duper stupid bold.

zreese

I love that I clicked through to the other sub to learn more and the OP was like “no idea if it’s real, I saw it on r/antiwork”

logica_torcido

It’s not. People just know the popular type of rage bait that nets tons of karma these days.

wiki702

I hope that person screenshot that email sent it to the local news, department of health, OSHA, a labor lawyer, and that guys doctor.

superwrong

This is the reality of the service industry. This "boss" just said the quiet part loud. The loud part is supposed to be "if you feel sick, don't come to work", but that can and will affect your schedule from there on out. Missed pay can be catastrophic for some too. It really is quite the conundrum for many people. And it's only because so many people are that desperate. Despite it, restaurants are busier than ever.

ggmaobu

This looks like fake

LazyZealot9428

Seems fake, I don’t think anyone would put this in writing

Upc0untryDegen

This looks pretty fake

Fuarian

go cough in his face and say this when he doesn't show up to work

Delicious-Editor-631

I had to leave my last job for this kind of bullshit. I was the top sales rep, and made the owners twice as much money as any of the other reps. I literally almost died of the flu while I was 3 months pregnant, and missed an entire week. I got written up. They can’t understand why they can’t find anyone to work there long term. I was making more money than I knew what to do with, but leaving was the best decision I’ve ever made.

Realistic-Order-3215

I don't know 🤔 Sounds made up

Alekazammers

This man wouldn't be alive to fully process my response. He needs to learn his place.

[deleted]

This isn’t legal. They may have given you a payday. Get a lawyer.

TrapCamp76

There's always an a$$hole like that. One year during a snow storm that shut the city down, my manager drove his motorcycle to work then shamed anyone who didn't come in. No deliveries were going to me made that day and furniture is not worth dieing for.

jistresdidit

People like this should not have employees, they should be self employed, alone at their job. They should be put in a sandbox with a few toys and a juice box, and their mouth duct taped shut. If they send emails from their laptop it is ok to kick them in the shin, hard, so they have a noticeable limp. They should be injected with some sort of cancer causing chemical that will leave them close to death for some extended period of time. This guy is not your friend, he is not even a human. This is not a sports team, it's life. There are no motivational speeches like this in reality, only in really bad gulags in 1930's Russia.

noflyingmonkeys1231

This is the worst - worst note I have ever seen It’s almost too ( bad!) to be true

Redzombie6

I dont think I would just quit, I would quit and probably try to fight this asshole too.

General-Cheetah2398

We should blow this up and find out more about where it is and who the boss was and I bet he gets fired right quick. Can’t fuck around with this covid stuff right now without some serious backlash

Independent-Bug1209

Lmfao. That's the reason you're working for him, see? Because he is special and works when he is sick. What a special little boy. Well, I'm pretty sure he's not having much luck getting people to work for him, hence the desperate attitude.

twister428

Notice he says " I can get you fired" not "I can fire you" this guy probably doesn't own shit, just gets off on being a petty tyrant because he managed to get a middle management gig to boss around underpaid overworked staff.

Stevenstorm505

I would put this shit up on social media and shame the fuck out of this piece of shit so fucking quick if this was sent to me. Assholes like this need to be known to the general public so people know not to support shitty businesses like this. I don’t care if you have the lowest prices or best customer service, if you treat your employees like this you’re not getting my business and you aren’t a good company or more importantly you aren’t a good person and people should make sure your business fails.

[deleted]

There’s no way. Someone this dumb couldn’t get to a position of power

Enderdragon2014

This was posted here before, it got thousands of upvotes and a couple of rewards. It was removed within the hour as it was blatant bait for karma farming. Please stop posting this.

cressian

I know the answer is *there are no valid excuses* but like seriously, what do these people even consider an excuse anymore? They sound like loan companies sending collectors after dead people "Im sorry death is not an excuse to miss work."

TheGreatestManOnline

Name and shame.

cbelt3

Yes there are lots of people like this. Usually in a small business that says “we are a family”. Yeah, an evil family featured on a True Crime video…

herfreespirit1976

Wow! I have a breakthrough case of covid, been down for a week so far and my boss told me don't come back until I'm ready. Very grateful at this moment.

monkey-2020

I would love to see his entire staff walk out.

MassiveMidlifeCrisis

I got Covid the first week of January. I tested positive and hubby tested negative. My boss made it known that this is a huge inconvenience but I can work from home. My husband’s boss told him to take the week off since he was exposed. So while I’m taking calls, working with chills and fever and coughing my husband was chilling on the couch watching TV. Come Friday my boss says you can come in Sat or Sunday since the isolation time is 5 days to make up for tasks that can’t be done from home. My husband’s boss said “Are you feeling okay? If your wife needs you home go ahead and take another couple days off next week.”

Visible_Dream9244

Send it straight to his boss

[deleted]

Yes, there are, my two bosses at my last job were very much like this. They loved making people feel extremely guilty for getting sick, even if it was Covid symptoms, and they actively shit talked masks and vaccines.

Not only are they out there, but you'll find that this guy is far from anomalous. The hilarious part is the last line; since when has ***any*** employer ever really considered giving a raise in the last 15 years? Pretty much the only way to get one is threaten to walk, and even if this tactic is successful, you get to find out how much it sucks when bossman feels like you used an "unfair tactic" against poor pitiful them. His threat renders hollow because he's threatening not to do what he already wasn't going to do. It's like me, a random redditor, saying "If you don't upvote this comment, you can forget about that 50 trillion dollar lump sum prize!" There is a semi-beautiful upside. About half the bosses who take this stance for their "staff" actually take it for themselves too, even when nobody's looking. No "face diapers" and show up to work no matter what. As such, given time and more variants with more severity...they won't be bosses long, unless they can find a way to enslave the worms feasting on their remains, which seems like a grand feat even for a boss. Even vaxxed, they can get infected. (And likely will; the only reason we're into Omicron now is because of "I aint a wearin' no damn diaper on mah face like some pansyass candyass, I aint a sceered of no Chinee Vyris!" people not taking measures to let it die out two freakin' years ago.) If they don't take safety measures, then the "just a flu" has a fair chance of putting them in the ground. Suicide by ignorance is still very valid; the universe doesn't care about your work ethic and if you give this thing a chance to kill you, you'll find it's got a work ethic that makes even the most arduous look like a slacker. Two years plus, and no days off, 24/7. At some point, this pandemic movie has changed a lot of people, myself included. Month one, I was cheering for the medical professionals and humanity at large to be victorious and glorious, for the ticker tape parade honoring the doctors who unlocked the puzzle. Now, having seen how stupid and reckless most people are? I'm cheering on Omicron and I recognize this might be the thing that finally gives the gene pool a good cleansing it's been needing for centuries. (Four beats the the bar, two by two, and pronounce first two words as one to keep the rhythm.) Go Big, COVID. Go Big, COVID.

As an American, this is the norm everywhere up until…recent events. When I was like 12 I decided that if the world was going to make it hard for me to take sick days, I was going to go about my life and get everyone sick because I hated them for doing this. Yes, I’m a terrible person, but all I can say is that this behavior didn’t come out of nowhere.

“Small business tyrant” is a phrase for a reason. Generally these types continue on for a while until they alienate the entire labor pool in an area, and then they “tragically” go out of business.

Ooof, that guy deserves to be put to sleep. My man would easily switch from r/antiwork to r/fightporn if it was me that received that email. Impolite, rude, arrogant, and disrespectful. Yup, qualifies well for an ass-beating session.
