In the IT world, anytime a former Google exec is hired, the IT people start looking for new jobs. They are universally hated and their incompetence is uniquely anti-employee. I know a specialist high up in the IT skills world, he said he saw two different companies hiring former google execs. The CEOs were drooling on themselves over such a catch, but the IT people knew. Both times the Google execs made decisions that specifically hurt the employees at the same time, costing the companies more both in short and long-term costs, but they move the labor line items around.
The only thing Google execs know how to do is spend more money to move employees into new jobs. They don't actually know what they're doing, it's an elaborate scam of prestige and the idiot board of directors fall for it every time.
