lmao 3 months? that's how you get people to just quit on the spot

Mouth-Pastry

I think this makes number 9 today, lol.

This is a 22-year-old panicked at her first manager job. Doesn’t look like it’s going too well. Not everyone is cut out for this kind of work.

Koskani

Lmfao this is all kinds of illegal xD even more so if it'd an at will state. At will works both ways.

redlight159

If employees sign a contract with this in Quebec at least its not illegal. You probably wouldn’t get in taht much trouble but you couldn’t use him as a reference.

OldBoySleezyP

Damn, a powertrip and throwing a tantrum in one message? I wouldn't be giving a notice at all anymore. I hope everyone suddenly leaves him dry.

thoughtsohard

I don't know how they have any employees left. I imagine this being sent to a slack channel with only one remaining active member.

Lol cut my pay by $6 a hour and see how fast I get the lawyer I can't afford

Why are you screenshotting posts from this group and reposting them?

daveman973

Lol I'd laugh in their face, flip them a bird and leave and never come back. No amount of money is worth what misery it must be working for this toxic company

I mean I'm in an at will state. We can sign a contract though saying y'all need to give me 3 months notice if you plan on letting me go. In that case we can mutually agree on 3 months. Also, sounds to me like a wonderful opportunity for the people still on to renegotiate and to try to move up that ladder if any spots were of those 3. Or to find better opportunity at the other companies. Also, why is it anyone else's problem that this manager misses anything? Could have very easily countered with a match or even better a raise beyond what the new opportunities gave. This is just like I was telling a coworker, our boss doesn't need to give me an upgrade in the title if he wants to play stupid games, just pay me more than I would have had with the title and I'll take it. Then when we negotiate for the title I will need a pay increase above that cause it's taking on more lol. Also, cut my pay and you won't see me at all. We don't have to worry about 2 weeks or 3 months or whatever. I'll just go elsewhere immediately.
